Huge volume changes of Si during lithiation/delithiation lead to regeneration of solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)and consume *** this article,γ-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane(GOPS)was incorporated in Si/PEDOT:PSS electrodes to construct a flexible and conductive artificial SEI,effectively suppressing the consumption of *** optimized electrode can maintain 1000 mAh g^−1 for nearly 800 cycles under limited electrolyte compared with 40 cycles of the electrodes without ***,the optimized electrode exhibits excellent rate *** use of GOPS greatly improves the interface compatibility between Si and PEDOT:*** Ar+etching depth analysis proved that the addition of GOPS is conducive to forming a more stable SEI.A full battery assembled with NCM 523 cathode delivers a high energy density of 520 Wh kg^−1,offering good stability.

Broad absorption spectra with efficient generation and separation of available charge carriers are indispensable requirements for promising semiconductor-based photocatalysts to achieve the ultimate goal of solar-to-fuel ***,Cu_(3-x)SnS_(4)(x=0-0.8)with copper vacancies have been prepared and fabricated via solvothermal *** obtained copper vacancy materials have extended light absorption from ultraviolet to near-infrared-II region for its significant plasmonic ***-resolved photoluminescence shows that the vacancies can simultaneously optimize charge carrier dynamics to boost the generation of long-lived active electrons for photocatalytic *** functional theory calculations and electrochemical characterizations further revealed that copper vacancies in Cu_(3-x)SnS_(4)tend to enhance hydrogen’s adsorption energy with an obvious decrease in its H_(2)evolution reaction(HER)***,without any loadings,the H_(2)production rate was measured to be 9.5 mmol·h^(-1)·g^(-1).The apparent quantum yield was measured to be 27%for wavelengthλ>380 *** solar energy conversion efficiency was measured to be 6.5%under visible-near infrared(vis-NIR)(λ>420 nm).

Olefin epoxidation is an essential transformation and arouses great interest among the scientific community for the key role of epoxide in the chemical *** methods suffer from harmful oxidants and require harsh operating conditions and complex separation ***-epoxidation through bromine redox reactions is an eco-friendly ***,the lack of efficient electrodes always limits the selectivity of epoxidation and results in massive energy ***,we found that GF-CoS_(2)/CoS heterostructures anchored on graphite felt(GF-CoS_(2)/CoS)can efficiently facilitate the generation of bromine redox species on the *** synergistic cooperation between the bromine redox species and oxygen redox species(generated on a graphite rod cathode)can establish a benign electro-epoxidation system for olefin substrates in an ambient *** the optimized reaction conditions,the epoxidation of styrene can achieve a yield of 97% at 30 mA cm^(-2).Importantly,the applied voltage(4-5 V)is roughly half of the Pt-based electrode system(7.8-9.3 V),hence,saving half of the *** demonstrated that our proposed strategy could also be applied to other *** of the simple,sustainable,and economic advantages of the epoxidation process,we believe this strategy is highly desirable for technical applications.

Silicon is a low price and high capacity ancxje material for lithium-ion *** yolk-shell structure can effectively accommodate Si expansion to improve ***,the limited rate performance of Si anodes can't meet people's growing demand for high power ***,the phosphorus-doped yolk-shell Si@C materials(P-doped Si@C)were prepared through carbon coating on P-doped Si/SiO_(x)matrix to obtain high power and stable ***,the as-prepared P-doped Si@C electrodes delivered a rapid increase in Coulombic efficiency from 74.4%to 99.6%after only 6 cycles,high capacity retention of-95%over 800 cycles at 4 A·g^(-1),and great rate capability(510 mAh·g^(-1)at 35 A·g^(-1)).As a result,P-doped Si@C anodes paired with commercial activated carbon and LiFePO_(4)cathode to assemble lithium-ion capacitor(high power density of〜61,080 W·kg^(-1)at 20 A·g^(-1))and lithium-ion full cell(good rate performance with 68.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 C),*** work can provide an effective way tofurther improve power density and stability for energy storage devices.

Extensive use of lambda-cyhalothrin（LC） for agricultural and domestic pest control leads to the accumulation of its residues in soil and water,which poses a serious threat to the *** of LC at the point source is the most effective way to avoid its spread and harmful ***,this study was planned to investigate the potential of indigenously isolated bacteria for the remediation of LC in cotton-vegetated *** potent LC-degrading bacteria,Brucella intermedia Halol,Alcaligenes faecalis CH1S,and Aquamicrobium terrae CH1T,were isolated from a pyrethroid-contaminated soil.A consortium CHST comprising these three strains was found to exhibit a higher potential for LC degradation as compared to the individual *** degradation of LC by CHST was optimized for four varying factors,i.e.,pH,inoculum density（ID）,carbon source（CS）,and initial pesticide（i.e.,LC）concentration（PC）,by applying Taguchi design of *** contributions of these factors to the biodegradation of LC were found to be in the order of pH> CS> PC> *** enhanced degradation of LC（84%） was attained at pH 7.0 in minimum salt medium containing 10 mg L-1LC and 3% *** consortium CHST was also augmented in sterilized and unsterilized soil microcosms at three PCs,i.e.,2,5,and 10 mg *** 21 d of incubation,complete LC degradation was achieved at 2 mg kg-1PC in sterilized as well as unsterilized soil,whereas at higher PCs,the extent of degradation was comparatively *** PC of 5 mg kg-1,88% and 96% LC degradation were observed in sterilized and unsterilized soils,respectively,compared to 79% and90% degradation at 10 mg kg-1,*** biodegradation,the major metabolite of LC,i.e.,3-phenoxybenzoic acid,was produced and further *** a cotton-planted soil spiked with 10 mg kg-1LC,the consortium degraded 91.8% LC,as well as improving the agronomic parameters of the cotton *** a nutshell,the consortium CHST was found to be a promising

BACKGROUND Transplant teams often hesitate to use the right kidney(RK)in living donor(LD)transplants due to the complexities of anastomosing the short,thin-walled right renal veins,which can potentially lead to graft loss or graft ***,circumstances may arise where selecting the RK over the left kidney(LK)is ***,it is crucial to thoroughly examine the implications of such a choice on the overall transplant *** To compare transplant outcomes between recipients of RK and LK while examining the factors that influence these *** We retrospectively analyzed data from adult patients who received LD kidney transplants involving meticulous patient selection and surgical techniques at our center from January 2020 to December *** included all kidney donors who were over 18,fit to donate,and had undergone diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid split function and/or computed tomography based *** variables examined comprised donor and recipient demographics,and outcome measures included technical graft loss(TGL),delayed or slow graft function(SGF),and post-transplant serum creatinine(SC)*** used a logistic regression model to assess the likelihood of adverse outcomes considering the donor kidney *** Of the 250 transplants performed during the period,56(22%)were *** recipient demographics and transplant factors were comparable for the right and LKs,except that the donor warm and cold ischemia time were shorter for *** and SGF each occurred in 2%(n=1)of RKs and 0.5%(n=1)of LKs,the difference being *** complications,however,were not related to the venous *** RK(2%)developed delayed graft function after 48 hours,which was attributable to postoperative hypoxia rather than the surgical *** post-transplant SC trend and mean SC at the last follow-up were similar across both kidney *** The donor kidney side has little impact on post-transplant
