Causes of anemia in pregnant women of the state of azad kashmir: A cross-sectional survey

Background: Epidemic of anemia is considered to be a significant threat to pregnant women or women in child bearing age. Anemia is one of the major nutritional health disorders affecting significant proportion of population not only in developing countries but also in developed countries. This threat is more alarming in developing countries where poverty, illiteracy may contribute to high risk for causes of anemia. Objective: The purpose of the current study was to investigate the main causes of anemia in pregnant women in the State of Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad and to investigate the relationship between education and anemia. Methods: A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted over a sample of 433 pregnant women. The Chi- square test has been used to assess the statistical significance of different risk factors with Hb% (Heamoglobin) of the respondent. The multiple logistic regression model was used to get the most significant risk factors of anemia. Results: The study shows that the most dominant risk factors of the anemia were age at the time of marriage at different age categories that are 16 - 20 (OR = 3.945) (OR Odds ratios) with 95% C-I (confidence interval) (0.294 to 52.985), 21 - 25 (OR = 2.316) with 95% C-I (0.192 to 27.932) and 26 - 30 (OR = 4.179) with 95% C-I (0.347 to 50.320). Education at different education levels that is illiterate (OR = 1.191) with 95% C-I (0.005 to 87.279) and primary (OR = 1.179) with 95% C-I (0.009 to 156.200). Hb% at different levels 3 - 4 g/dl (OR = 1.220) with 95% C-I (0.299 to 4.984), 5 - 6 g/dl (OR = 2.221) with 95% C-I (0.679 to7.263) and 7 - 10 g/dl (OR = 1.384) with 95% C-I (0.408 to 4.689). Application of Ceramic Film as Means of Lubrication for Forming of TiSheet in a Highly Localized Deformation Process

Incremental forming is a novel die-less sheet forming process. There is a need for special means to retain lubricant at the tool/sheet interface during forming. To fulfillthe stated aim, a porous ceramic film was developed on pure Ti substrate, and it was done through an electrochemical depsition process known as plasma electrolytic oxidation. The film with preferred pore size could be realized after several attempts by varying the processing parameters. In order to characterize the film, a variety of tests including rnicrostructure, film-substrate bond strength and tribological properties tests were conducted. On-job performance of the film was also examined by forming Ti components employing a range of forming conditions. It was found that the proposed method of lubrication was effective, and the plasma eletrolytic oxidation process can be employed to fabricate films on pure Ti sheet to provide means of lubrication during incremental forming.

Tungsten carbide is a material that is very difficult to cut,mainly owing to its extreme wear *** high value of yield strength,accompanied by extreme brittleness,renders its machinability extremely poor,with most tools *** when cutting with tool materials of the highest quality,its mode of cutting is mainly brittle and marred by material *** ductile mode of cutting is possible only at micro leveIs of depth of cut and feed *** study aims to investigate the possibility of milling the carbide material at a meso-scale using polycrystaline diamond(PCD)end mills.A series of end milling experiments were performed to study the effects of cutting speed,feed per tooth,and axial depth of cut on performance measures such as cutting forces,surface roughness,and tool *** characterize the wear of PCD tools,a new approach to measuring the level of damage sustained by the faces of the cutter's teeth is *** of the experimental data show that the effects of all the cutting parameters on the three performance measures are *** major damage mode of the PCD end mills *** to be the intermittent *** progress of tool damage saw a long,stable,and steady period sandwiched between two short,abrupt,and intermittent *** forces and surface roughness are found to rise with increments in the three cutting parameters,although the latter shows signs of reduction during the initial increase in cutting speed *** results of this study find that an acceptable surface quality(average roughness Ra600mm)can be obtained under the conditions of the given cutting *** indicates that milling with PCD tools at a meso-scale is a suitable machining method for tungsten carbides.

Optimization of Abrasive Water Jet Cutting of Ductile Materials

Full factorial design of experiments was developed in order to investigate the effects of jet pressure, abrasive mixing rate, cutting feed, and plate thickness upon three response variables, surface finish of cutting wear zone, percentage proportion of striation free area, and maximum width of cut. The set of sixteen experiments was performed on each of the following two ductile materials： AISI 4340 （high strength low alloy steel, hardened to 49HRc） and Aluminum 2219. Analysis of Variance （ANOVA） was performed on experimental data in order to determine the significance of effects of different parameters on the performance measures. It was found that cutting feed and thickness were highly influential parameters, while abrasive mixing rate is influential upon surface roughness only. Strong interaction was found between jet pressure and workpiece material. Multi-criteria numerical optimization was performed in order to simultaneously maximize/minimize different combinations of performance measures.

Numerical Calculation and Experimental Research on Crack Arrest by Detour Effect and Joule Heating of High Pulsed Current in Remanufacturing

The remanufacturing blanks with cracks were considered as irreparable. With utilization of detour effect and Joule heating of pulsed current, a technique to arrest the crack in martensitic stainless steel FV520B is developed. According to finite element theory, the finite element（FE） model of the cracked rectangular specimen is established firstly. Then, based on electro-thermo-structure coupled theory, the distributions of current density, temperature field, and stress field are calculated for the instant of energizing. Furthermore, the simulation results are verified by some corresponding experiments performed on high pulsed current discharge device of type HCPD-I. Morphology and microstructure around the crack tip before and after electro pulsing treatment are observed by optical microscope（OM） and scanning electron microscope（SEM）, and then the diameters of fusion zone and heat affected zone（HAZ） are measured in order to contrast with numerical calculation results. Element distribution, nano-indentation hardness and residual stress in the vicinity of the crack tip are surveyed by energy dispersive spectrometer（EDS）, scanning probe microscopy（SPM） and X-ray stress gauge, respectively. The results show that the obvious partition and refined grain around the crack tip can be observed due to the violent temperature change. The contents of carbon and oxygen in fusion zone and HAZ are higher than those in matrix, and however the hardness around the crack tip decreases. Large residual compressive stress is induced in the vicinity of the crack tip and it has the same order of magnitude for measured results and numerical calculation results that is 100 MPa. The relational curves between discharge energies and diameters of the fusion zone and HAZ are obtained by experiments. The difference of diameter of fusion zone between measured and calculated results is less than 18.3%. Numerical calculation is very useful to define the experimental parameters. Analysis of Classical Encryption Techniques in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing has become a significant computing model in the IT industry. In this emerging model,computing resources such as software, hardware, networking, and storage can be accessed anywhere in the world on a pay-per-use basis. However, storing sensitive data on un-trusted servers is a challenging issue for this model. To guarantee confidentiality and proper access control of outsourced sensitive data, classical encryption techniques are used. However, such access control schemes are not feasible in cloud computing because of their lack of flexibility, scalability, and fine-grained access control. Instead, Attribute-Based Encryption（ABE） techniques are used in the cloud. This paper extensively surveys all ABE schemes and creates a comparison table for the key criteria for these schemes in cloud applications.

On the complexity of average path length for biological networks and patterns

Path length calculation is a frequent requirement in studies related to graph theoretic problems such as genetics. Standard method to calculate average path length （APL） of a graph requires traversing all nodes in the graph repeatedly, which is computationally expensive for graphs containing large number of nodes. We propose a novel method to calculate APL for graphs commonly required in the studies of genetics. The proposed method is computationally less expensive and less time-consuming compared to standard method.

As the extraction and usage of natural resources continue to be a double-edged sword-supporting economic growth but deteriorating the environment-we study the impact of natural resource mining on sustainable economic development in the largest(PPP)*** use province-level data from 2001 to 2020 and employ econometric panel techniques,such as fixed effects,two-stage least squares,and a battery of robustness *** further explore the potential effects of education and green innovation in mitigating/exacerbating the role of natural resources in the Chinese provincial *** results show that:(1)Natural resource mining hurts sustainable development,verifying the“resource curse”effect.(2)Green innovation and education restrain the negative impact of resource mining on sustainable development,turning the curse into a blessing.(3)A regional heterogeneity is observed in the impact of resource mining on sustainable development,showing more significant effects in the Western and low-urbanized regions.(4)Green innovation and education can assuage the curse effect of natural resources into gospel *** implications and recommendations are proposed in light of the findings to promote sustainable economic development in China.
