This study describes the adsorption behavior of three arylthiophene derivatives namely:2-(4-amidino-3-fluorophenyl)-5-[4-methoxy phenyl] thiophene dihydrochloride salt(MA-1217),2-(4-amidinophenyl)-5-[4-chlorophenyll thiophene dihydrochloride salt(MA-1316) and 2-(4-amidino-3-fluorophenyl)-5-[4-ch lorophenyllthiophene dihydrochloride salt(MA-1312) at C-steel in 1.0 mol·L^(-1) HCl interface using experimental and theoretical *** and mass loss measurements showed that the inhibition efficiency(IE) of the arylthiophene derivatives increases with increasing concentrations and exhibited maximum efficiency 89% at 21×10^(-6) mol·L^(-1)(MA-1217) by mass loss *** investigated arylthiophene derivatives obey the Langmuir adsorption *** polarization studies the arylthiophene derivatives act as mixed-type *** analysis were carried out and *** mode of orientation and adsorption of inhibitor molecules on C-steel surface was studied using molecular dynamics(MD) *** chemical parameters as well as the radial distribution function indices and binding energies confirm the experimental results.

The corrosion inhibition action of three newly synthesized furanylnicotinamidine derivatives namely: 6-[5-{4(dimethylamino)phenyl}furan-2-yl]nicotinamidine(MA-1256), 6-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)furan-2-yl]nicotinamidine(MA-1266), and 6-[5-{4-(dimethylamino)phenyl}furan-2-yl]nicotinonitrile(MA-1250) on carbon steel(C-steel) was investigated in 1.0 mol·L-1 HCl solution by weight loss(WL), potentiodynamic polarization(PP), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIs), and electrochemical frequency modulation(EFM)techniques. Morphological analysis was performed on the uninhibited and inhibited C-steel using atomic force microscope(AFM) and Infrared spectroscopy(ATR-IR) methods. The effect of temperature was studied and discussed. Inspection of experimental results revealed that the inhibition efficiency(IE) increases with the incremental addition of inhibitors and with elevating the temperature of the acid media. The adsorption of furanylnicotinamidine derivatives on C-steel follows Temkin’s isotherm. PP studies indicated that the investigated compounds act as mixed-type inhibitors and showed that p-dimethylaminophenyl furanylnicotinamidine derivative(MA-1256) was the most efficient inhibitor among the other studied derivatives with IE reached(95%)at 21 × 10-6 mol·L-1. MA-1266 is highly soluble in aqueous solution and has non-toxicity profile with LC50 N 37 mg·L-1. Thus, MA-1266 can be a promising green corrosion inhibitor candidate with IE N 91% at 21× 10-6 mol·L-1. The experiments were coupled with computational chemical theories such as quantum chemical and molecular dynamic methods. The experimental results were in good agreement with the computational outputs.

several studies on functionally graded materials(FGMs)have been done by researchers,but few studies have dealt with the impact of the modification of the properties of materials with regard to the functional propagation of the waves in *** work aims to explore the effects of changing compositional characteristics and the volume fraction of the constituent of plate materials regarding the wave propagation response of thick plates of *** model is based on a higher-order theory and a new displacement field with four unknowns that introduce indeterminate integral variables with a hyperbolic arcsine *** FGM plate is assumed to consist of a mixture of metal and ceramic,and its properties change depending on the power functions of the thickness of the plate,such as linear,quadratic,cubic,and inverse *** utilizing Hamilton’s principle,general formulae of the wave propagation were obtained to establish wave modes and phase velocity curves of the wave propagation in a functionally graded plate,including the effects of changing compositional characteristics of materials.

Gene circuits allow cells to carry out complex functions such as the precise regulation of biological metabolic *** this study,we combined,in the yeast ***,genetic regulatory elements with the enzymatic reactions of the human CYP2C9 and its redox partner CPR on luciferin substrates and *** cells were permeabilized and used as enzyme bags in order to host these metabolic *** engineered three different(genetic)-enzymatic basic Boolean gates(YEs,NOT,and N-IMPLY).In the YEs and N-IMPLY gates,human CYP2C9 was expressed under the galactose-inducible GAL1 *** carbon monoxide releasing molecule CORM-401 was used as an input in the NOT and N-IMPLY gates to impair CYP2C9 activity through inhibition of the Fe+2-heme prosthetic group in the active site of the human *** study provides a new approach in designing synthetic bio-circuits and optimizing experimental conditions to favor the heterologous expression of human drug metabolic enzymes over their endogenous *** new approach will help study precise metabolic attributes of human P450s.

Ultra-high-performance seawater sea-sand concrete（UHPssC） presents a prospective solution to address the natural resource shortage in marine infrastructure construction. To eliminate the corrosion risk of steel fibers and broaden the applicability of UHPssC, this study investigates the mechanical properties and free chloride ion content as well as microstructures of UHPssC reinforced with superfine stainless wires（ssWs） under natural curing. The results indicate that 1.5% ssWs can remarkably improve the flexural strength and toughness of UHPssC by 127% and 1724%, respectively, and mitigate the long-term strength degradation of UHPssC. The strong interfacial bond between ssW and UHPssC improves the compactness of UHPssC, thus reducing the growth space for Ca（OH）2crystals and swelling hydration products generated by sulfate and magnesium ions. This can be supported by the observed reduction in the Ca/si ratio of C–s–H gels, CH crystal orientation index, and ***, through mechanisms such as pull-out, rupture, overlapping network, and internal anchor interface, ssWs effectively prevent microcrack growth and propagation, transforming single long-connected microcracks into multiple-emission microcracks centered on ssW. Additionally, the free chloride ion content of the composites at 28 and 180 d meets the ACI 318-19 standard requirements for concrete exposed to seawater. This compliance is attributed to the chloride immobilization facilitated by Friedel's salt and C–s–H gels within the interfaces around ssWs and sea-sand. Consequently, ssWs-reinforced UHPssC exhibits considerable potential for applications in sustainable marine infrastructures, demanding long-term mechanical properties and high durability.

In this article,the fractional diffusion-advection equation with resetting is introduced to promote the theory of anomalous *** fractional equation describes a particle’s non-diffusive motion performing a random walk and is reset to its initial *** analytical method is proposed to obtain the solution of the fractional equation with resetting via Fourier and Laplace *** study the influence of the fractional-order and resetting rate on the probability distributions,and the mean square displacements are analyzed for different cases of anomalous regimes.
