In 2018, Niu et al. [1] proposed a measurement-device-independent quantum secure direct communication(MDI-QSDC) protocol and quantum dialogue(MDI-QD) protocol using Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen(EPR) pairs. In their protocols, the two legitimate parties prepare two sets of EPR pairs in their locations, and send the partner qubits of their EPR pairs to an untrusted third party(UTP). Here we analyze these protocols and show that 50% of the information about the secret message bits is leaked out in both the protocols.

The generalized thermo-elasticity theory, i.e., Green and Naghdi （G-N） Ⅲ theory, with energy dissipation （TEWED） is employed in the study of time-harmonic plane wave propagation in an unbounded, perfectly electrically conducting elastic medium subject to primary uniform magnetic field. A more general dispersion equation with com- plex coefficients is obtained for coupled magneto-thermo-elastic wave solved in complex domain by using the Leguerre＇s method. It reveals that the coupled magneto-thermoelastic wave corresponds to modified dilatational and thermal wave propagation with finite speeds modified by finite thermal wave speeds, thermo-elastic coupling, thermal diffusivity, and the external magnetic field. Numerical results for a copper-like material are presented.

Plant growth depends on the continuous availability of the macro-nutrient phosphate(Pi).However,in most soils,Pi is only poorly accessible to plants,resulting in Pi deficiency and triggering a number of Pi starvation *** strategy of plants to over-come Pi limitation is to form a symbiosis with arbuscular mycor-rhizal(AM)fungi(Smith et al.,2011),which occurs with approximately 80%of land *** fungi improve the uptake of Pi and other mineral nutrients and thereby increase plant performance and stress *** collect these minerals with an extraradical hyphal network from the soil and release them from highly branched structures,called arbuscules,into root cortex ***,Pi sufficiency causes inhibition of internal root colonization(Balzergue et al.,2011;Breuillin et al.,2010).The mechanistic basis for this has long remained *** studies have now solved this long-standing mystery and demonstrated that a canonical Pi-response regulatory module regulates AM symbiosis in accordance with the plant Pi status(Shi et al.,2021;das et al.,2022).

We have studied the tachyon intermediate and logamediate warm inflation in loop quantum cosmological background by taking the dissipative co-efficient Γ = Γ_0(where Γ_0 is a constant) in "intermediate" inflation and Γ = V(φ),(where V(φ) is the potential of tachyonic field) in "logamediate" inflation. We have assumed slow-roll condition to construct scalar field φ, potential V, N-folds, etc. Various slow-roll parameters have also been *** have analyzed the stability of this model through graphical representations.

An efficient fluorescence probe, 4-methyl-2,6-bis（（thiophen-2-ylmethylimino）methyl）phenol （DFPTMA） and its SCN adduct has been synthesized and characterized by different spectroscopic techniques like ^1H NMR,^13C NMR, QTOF-MS ES^＋, UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray structure of DFPTMA is reported. In presence of SCN-, DFPTMA exhibits significant fluorescence enhancement （λEx, 455 nm, λEm, 504 nm） in aqueous methanol （water-methanol, 1 ： 4, V/V, 0.1 mol/L HEPES buffer, pH 7.4）. Common bio-relevant anions viz. CH3COO^-, NO2, NO7, Cl^-, Br^-, I^-, SO4^2-, HSO4^-, N3^-, HAsO4^2-, Cr2O7^2-, H2PO4, ClO4^-, NCO^-, CN^-, CO3^2-, F^-, PO4^3-, S2-, HS- do not interfere in the recognition of SCN-. Lowest detection limit for SCN^- is 0.88 μmol/L with response time 〈5 min. The SCN assisted enhancement in emission intensity may be attributed to the formation of H-bond which enhances the rigidity of the molecular assembly.

We propose a broadband fiber optic parametric amplifier（FOPA） based on a near-zero ultra-flat dispersion profile with a single zero-dispersion wavelength（ZDW） by using a selective liquid infiltration *** amplifier gain and bandwidth is investigated for a variety of fiber lengths, pump power, and operating wavelengths. It is observed that sufficient peak gains and broader bandwidths can be achieved with a small negative anomalous dispersion（β2≤ 0） and a positive value of the 4th-order dispersion parameter（t β4）around the pump. We can optimize an FOPA with a bandwidth of more than 220 nm around the communications wavelength.

Low-dimensional nanomaterials such as graphene can be used as a reinforcing agent in building materials to enhance the strength and durability. Common building materials burnt red soil bricks and fly ash bricks were reinforced with various amounts of graphene, and the effect of graphene on the strength of these newly developed nanocomposites was studied. The fly ash brick nanocomposite samples were cured as per their standard curing time, and the burnt red soil brick nanocomposite samples were merely dried in the sun instead of being subjected to the traditional heat treatment for days to achieve sufficient strength. The water absorption ability of the fly ash bricks was also discussed. The compressive strength of all of the graphene-reinforced nanocomposite samples was tested, along with that of some standard (without graphene) composite samples with the same dimensions, to evaluate the effects of the addition of various amounts of graphene on the compressive strength of the bricks.

das et al. [Effect of disease-selective predation on prey infected by contact and external sources, Biosystems 95（3）（2009） 188-199] proposed an eco-epidemiological model where the prey species is infected through the external source of infection and contact of the species. In this present study we have modified their model by assuming that the predator consumes both the susceptible as well as the infected prey following the modified Holling type-Ⅱ functional response. Our main focusing points of this study are the role of infection rate （both internal and external）, alternative food, and half-saturation constant in the predator prey dynamics with disease in the prey population. We have shown the local stability of the boundary as well as the interior equilibrium point under certain conditions. We have Mso worked out the permanence of the system. Our simulation results show that the system enters into limit cycle oscillations from stable position for higher values of the contact rate. But it is also shown that the external infection rate, enrichment of the alternative food of the predator population and the half-saturation constant can prevent limit cycle oscillations and stabilize the system. Thus external dis- ease propagation, enrichment of the alternative food resource, and the half-saturation constant are the key factors for preventing the oscillatory behavior of the species.

Dietary data on Ansonia latidisca, the little known Bornean Rainbow Toad, are presented, through an investigation of a population at Gunung Penrissen, Sarawak, Malaysia(north-western Borneo), at elevations between 1,100–1,229 m asl. Standard sampling techniques, including visual encounter surveys, were employed and individuals encountered stomach-flushed, ma rked, a nd released. The volume of food ingested by adults, apart from large females, did not vary monthly, and there was no significant difference between wet and dry periods, the dominance index between the two periods showing no significant difference, indicating that seasonal variation does not affect the dietary constitution of the species across months. The mean longest prey was recovered from a female in March, during the end of the wet season. Larger individuals did not consume larger prey in the species, although larger females did harvest the largest insects, and as may be expected, had fewer prey items in their stomachs at the time. Males fed on fewer prey items than females, the adult male diet predominantly comprised of members of the Hymenoptera, including formicids(ants), as indicated by percentage frequency of occurrence of 78.69, while for adult females, equivalent figure was 90.70. Coleopterans(beetles) were found secondary in importance(48.8% in females, 5.85% in males), the rest categorized as tertiary. Plant items(including bryophytes) had a high frequency of occurrence(23.3% in females, 4.64% in males). Females examined in the month of July had voluminous stomach contents, and may have eaten more to increase fat reserves for breeding in the upcoming wet season. Since the diet of all size classes consisted of hymenopterans(ants) and coleopterans, the study species is here considered to have a narrow food preference, and consequently, is a dietary specialist.
