Despite the engineering potential by the co-existence of inorganic and organic substances to protect vulnerable metallic materials from corrosive environments,both their interaction and in-situ formation mechanism to induce the nature-inspired composite remained less *** present work used three distinctive mercaptobenzazole(MB)compounds working as corrosion inhibitors,such as 2-mercaptobenzoxazole(MBO),2-mercaptobenzothiazole(MBT),and 2-mercaptobenzimidazole(MBI)in a bid to understand how the geometrical structure arising from O,S,and N atoms affected the interaction toward inorganic *** compounds that were used here to control the corrosion kinetics would be interacted readily with the pre-existing MgO layer fabricated by plasma *** phenomenon triggered the nucleation of the root network since MB compounds were seen to be adsorbed actively on the defective surface through the active sites in MB ***,the molecule with twin donor atoms adjacent to the mercapto-sites affected the facile growth of the grass-like structures with‘uniform’distribution via molecular self-assembly,which showed better corrosion performance than those with having dissimilar donor atoms with the inhibition efficiency(η)of 97%*** formation mechanism underlying nucleation and growth behavior of MB molecule was discussed concerning the theoretical calculation of density functional theory.

Knowledge-Driven Possibilistic Clustering with Automatic Cluster Elimination

Traditional Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and Possibilistic C-Means (PCM) clustering algorithms are data-driven, and their objective function minimization process is based on the available numeric data. Recently, knowledge hints have been introduced to form knowledge-driven clustering algorithms, which reveal a data structure that considers not only the relationships between data but also the compatibility with knowledge hints. However, these algorithms cannot produce the optimal number of clusters by the clustering algorithm itself; they require the assistance of evaluation indices. Moreover, knowledge hints are usually used as part of the data structure (directly replacing some clustering centers), which severely limits the flexibility of the algorithm and can lead to knowledge misguidance. To solve this problem, this study designs a new knowledge-driven clustering algorithm called the PCM clustering with High-density Points (HP-PCM), in which domain knowledge is represented in the form of so-called high-density points. First, a new data density calculation function is proposed. The Density Knowledge Points Extraction (DKPE) method is established to filter out high-density points from the dataset to form knowledge hints. Then, these hints are incorporated into the PCM objective function so that the clustering algorithm is guided by high-density points to discover the natural data structure. Finally, the initial number of clusters is set to be greater than the true one based on the number of knowledge hints. Then, the HP-PCM algorithm automatically determines the final number of clusters during the clustering process by considering the cluster elimination mechanism. Through experimental studies, including some comparative analyses, the results highlight the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, such as the increased success rate in clustering, the ability to determine the optimal cluster number, and the faster convergence speed. Infrared Fault Detection Method for Dense Electrolytic Bath Polar Plate Based on yOLOv5s

Electrolysis tanks are used to smelt metals based on electrochemical principles, and the short-circuiting of the pole plates in the tanks in the production process will lead to high temperatures, thus affecting normal production. Aiming at the problems of time-consuming and poor accuracy of existing infrared methods for high-temperature detection of dense pole plates in electrolysis tanks, an infrared dense pole plate anomalous target detection network yOLOv5-RMF based on you Only Look Once version 5 (yOLOv5) is proposed. Firstly, we modified the Real-Time Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network (Real-ESRGAN) by changing the U-shaped network (U-Net) to Attention U-Net, to preprocess the images; secondly, we propose a new Focus module that introduces the Marr operator, which can provide more boundary information for the network; again, because Complete Intersection over Union (CIOU) cannot accommodate target borders that are increasing and decreasing, replace CIOU with Extended Intersection over Union (EIOU), while the loss function is changed to Focal and Efficient IOU (Focal-EIOU) due to the different difficulty of sample detection. On the homemade dataset, the precision of our method is 94%, the recall is 70.8%, and the map@.5 is 83.6%, which is an improvement of 1.3% in precision, 9.7% in recall, and 7% in map@.5 over the original network. The algorithm can meet the needs of electrolysis tank pole plate abnormal temperature detection, which can lay a technical foundation for improving production efficiency and reducing production waste.
