Extracting photovoltaic(PV)model parameters based on the measured voltage and current information is crucial in the simulation and management of PV systems.To accurately and reliably extract the unknown parameters of different PV models,this paper proposes an improved multi-verse optimizer that integrates an iterative chaos map and the Nelder–Mead simplex method,INMVO.Quantitative experiments verified that the proposed INMVO fueled by both mechanisms has more affluent populations and a more reasonable balance between exploration and exploitation.Further,to verify the feasibility and competitiveness of the proposal,this paper employed INMVO to extract the unknown parameters on single-diode,double-diode,three-diode,and PV module four well-known PV models,and the high-performance techniques are selected for comparison.In addition,the Wilcoxon signed-rank and Friedman tests were employed to test the experimental results statistically.Various evaluation metrics,such as root means square error,relative error,absolute error,and statistical test,demonstrate that the proposed INMVO works effectively and accurately to extract the unknown parameters on different PV models compared to other techniques.In addition,the capability of INMVO to stably and accurately extract unknown parameters was also verified on three commercial PV modules under different irradiance and temperatures.In conclusion,the proposal in this paper can be implemented as an advanced and reliable tool for extracting the unknown parameters of different PV models.Note that the source code of INMVO is available at https://***/woniuzuioupao/INMVO.

In recent years,with the increasing demand for social production,engineering design problems have gradually become more and more complex.Many novel and well-performing meta-heuristic algorithms have been studied and developed to cope with this problem.Among them,the Spherical Evolutionary Algorithm(SE)is one of the classical representative methods that proposed in recent years with admirable optimization performance.However,it tends to stagnate prematurely to local optima in solving some specific problems.Therefore,this paper proposes an SE variant integrating the Cross-search Mutation(CSM)and Gaussian Backbone Strategy(GBS),called CGSE.In this study,the CSM can enhance its social learning ability,which strengthens the utilization rate of SE on effective information;the GBS cooperates with the original rules of SE to further improve the convergence effect of SE.To objectively demonstrate the core advantages of CGSE,this paper designs a series of global optimization experiments based on IEEE CEC2017,and CGSE is used to solve six engineering design problems with constraints.The final experimental results fully showcase that,compared with the existing well-known methods,CGSE has a very significant competitive advantage in global tasks and has certain practical value in real applications.Therefore,the proposed CGSE is a promising and first-rate algorithm with good potential strength in the field of engineering design.

Half-metallic ferromagnetism,mechanical as well as thermoelectric properties for rare earth-based spinels MgHo_(2)Z_(4)(Z=S,Se)were investigated using density functional theory(DFT).Structural optimization was done with Perdew-Burke-Ehrenzorf(PBE)sol-generalized gradient approximation(GGA)to calculate the lattice constant of both spinels comparable to experimental data.In addition,Born stability criteria and negative formation energy show that our studied spinels are also structurally and dynamically stable in the cubic phase.For ferromagnetic(FM)state stability,we also calculated the energy differences among FM,antiferromagnetic(AFM),and non-magnetic(NM)states.Additionally,Curie temperatures of ferromagnetic phases were also estimated.We used Trans-Blaha improved BeckeJohnson(TB-mBJ)potential functional for electronics as well as magnetic characteristics,which lead to the consistent explanation of half-metallic ferromagnetism,representing the whole band-occupancy in material with exact detail of density of states(DOS).The stable FM state was examined in spinels due to the exchange splitting of Ho cation consisting of p-d hybridizations compatible with the result achieved for electronics band structure and DOS.Further,spin magnetic moment was explained in terms of anion,cation,and sharing charge on studied spinels.In addition,the calculated thermoelectric properties clearly show that operation range of these systems may be utilized by future experimental works for identifying the potential applications of these systems.

Nematode identification serves as an important param-eter to study their behaviour,importance and pathogenic-ity.Application of classical morphometric based identifica-tion methods prove to be lacking due to insufficient knowledge on morphological variations among closely related taxa.Molecular approaches such as DNA and protein-based information,microarray,probing,sequence-based methods and others have been used to supplement morphology-based methods for nematode identification.Ascarosides and certain protein-based nematode-associated molecular patterns(NAMPs),can be perceived by the host plants,and can initiate a signalling cascade.This review primarily emphasizes on an updated account of different classical and modern tools used for the identification of nematodes.Besides we also summa-rize the mechanism of some important signalling pathways which are involved in the different plant nematode interactions.Nematodes constitute most diverse and least studied group of soil inhabiting invertebrates.They are ecologically and physiologically important,however,wide range of nematodes show harmful impact on the individuals that live within their vicinity.Plant parasitic nematodes(PPNs)are transparent,pseudocoelomate,free living or parasitic microorganisms.PPNs lack morphometric identification methods due to insufficient knowl-edge on morphological variations among closely related taxa.As such,molecular approaches such as DNA and protein-based information,microarray,probing,sequence-based methods and others have been used to supplement morphology-based methods for their identification.To invade the defense response of different plant species,parasitic nematodes have evolved different molecular strategies.Ascarosides and certain protein-based nematode-associated molecular patterns(NAMPs),can be perceived by the host plants,and can initiate a signaling cascade.To overcome the host confrontation and develop certain nematode feeding sites,some members can inject effectors into the cells of susceptible hosts to reprogram the

Effects of anestrus dog serum on superovulation in rats and mice

Objective:To study the effects of anestrus dog serum in rodents (contains high amount of FSH) compared with two common superovulatory programs.Methods: Rats (n=30) at diestrus phase were evenly divided into pregnant mare serum gonadotrophins (PMSG) group (administrated with 30 IU PMSG, and 48 h later following by 25 IU hCG), recombinant follicle stimulating hormone (rFSH) group (reducing dose every 12 h from 5 to 1 IU, then following by 25 IU hCG) and anestrus dog serum group (reducing dose every 12 h from 0.6 to 0.1 mL, then following by 25 IU of hCG). Mice (n=30) were also evenly divided into PMSG group (5 IU PMSG used at 13 pm, and 48 h later following by 5 IU of hCG), rFSH group (from 13 pm, reducing dose every 12 h from 2.5 to 0.5 IU, then following by 5 IU hCG) and anestrous dog serum group (from 13 pm, reducing dose every 12 h from 0.100 to 0.025 mL, then following by 5 IU hCG). Mice and rats placed with males for 24 h after last injection. Histology samples of ovaries were prepared and the numbers of corpus lutea were counted on day 14 after mating. Results: In mice, the differences among mean number of corpus lutea in all groups (P=0.01) and between FSH and dog serum group were significant (P=0.0007). But no significant differences were found between the mean number of corpus lutea in dog serum and PMSG, or between FSH and PMSG groups. In rats, mean number of corpus lutea were significant differences among three groups (P=0.01), and between PMSG and dog serum groups (P=0.02). Conclusions: Superovulatory response in anestrus dog serum group is similar to PMSG group in mice, which is relatively similar to FSH in rats.

转矩分配函数被广泛应用于抑制开关磁阻电机的转矩脉动。然而,输入相转矩跟踪不足或者输出相产生较大的负转矩这两种情况通常会导致电机的转矩脉动难以得到有效抑制,并降低电机的运行效率。因此,为了能够有效降低电机的转矩脉动并提高电机的效率,提出了一种新型的转矩分配函数控制策略。在提出的转矩分配函数控制策略中,电机的换相区域分为两个区域。在前一区域中,通过降低输入相转矩分配的比例,可以实现输入相实际转矩快速跟踪参考转矩,电机的转矩脉动有效降低。同时由于在输入相电感变化率较低时减少输入相分配的转矩,从而输入相的峰值电流随之降低,电机的转矩电流比提高。在后一区域中,将输出相的电流在转子对齐位置附近处减小到0,以避免产生较大的负转矩。因此,在所提出的方案下,电机的转矩脉动得到有效抑制,电机的效率也得到了提高。为了验证该方法的有效性,在一台12/8三相开关磁阻电机上进行了仿真和实验。结果表明,所提出的转矩分配函数控制策略能有效降低开关磁阻电机转矩脉动,也能有效地提高开关磁阻电机的运行效率。

Follicular fluid composition of ovulatory follicles in repeat breeder Holstein dairy cows

Objective: To examine differences in the metabolite, steroid and lipopolysaccharide of follicular fluid collected from the ovulatory follicle of Holstein repeat breeding cows, lactating cows, and virgin fertile heifers. Methods: Estrus was induced in animals possessing functional corpus luteum by intramuscular administration of prostaglandin F2α. Six to twelve hours after detection of the standing estrus, cervical samples were collected to detect subclinical endometritis via counting neutrophils on stained smears of cervical swabs. Then, follicular fluid of ovulatory follicles and serum samples were collected from repeat breeding cows (n=11), lactating cows (n=8) and virgin fertile heifers (n=10). Sodium and potassium were measured with a flame photometer method. Urea, total protein, glucose, cholesterol andβ-hydroxybutyric acid were assayed with commercial spectrophotometry kits. Chloride concentration was also measured with titration of samples against silver nitrate. Progesterone, estradiol-17βand lipopolysaccharide concentrations were measured using enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay kits. Results: All analysis of follicular fluid samples showed that repeat breeding and lactating cows had a mean higher lipopolysaccharide concentration than that of the virgin fertile heifers (P<0.05). But concentration of serum estradiol-17βin repeat breeding and lactating cows was lower than that of virgin fertile heifers (P<0.05). In addition, the mean percentage of neutrophils in the cervical secretion of repeat breeding cows was higher than that of lactating cows (P<0.05). Conclusions: High follicular fluid concentration of lipopolysaccharide in ovulatory follicles results in the occurrence of repeat breeding syndrome in dairy cows. Further, a lower serum estradiol-17βconcentration and a higher percentage of neutrophil in the cervical secretion on the day of artificial insemination may have resulted in the occurrence of repeat breeding syndrome in dairy cows.

Stable state of serum inflammatory cytokines during induction of benign prostate hyperplasia in dogs

Objective:To monitor serum inflammatory cytokines during induction of benign prostate hyperplasia in dogs.Methods:This research was designed as a case-control study.There were 20 adult mixed-breed intact male dogs,which were divided into the normal group(n=10)and the benign prostate hyperplasia group(n=10).In the benign prostate hyperplasia group,benign prostate hyperplasia was induced by injection of testosterone(75.00 mg/dog,i.m.)and estrogen(0.75 mg/dog,i.m.)on day 0(day of the first injection),day 21,day 42,and day 63.The doses of testosterone were doubled on days 21,42,and 63.The normal group did not receive any injection.Blood sampling was performed from the jugular vein at days 0,21,42,and 63.The concentrations of interleukin-8,interleukin-10,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The levels of interleukin-8,interleukin-10 and TNF-αwere not significantly different between the normal group and the benign prostate hyperplasia group.Also,concentrations of the pro-inflammatory cutokines were not significantly different between the normal group and the BPH group in each day of sampling.Conclusions:In spite of the induction of benign prostate hyperplasia,changes in the concentration of blood serum inflammatory cytokines were not significantly different with that of the normal group and between the days of induction of benign prostate hyperplasia during two months.It reveals that there is a stable state of serum inflammatory cytokines during induction of benign prostate hyperplasia in dogs.

Objective: To confirm the efficacy of non-antibiotic treatment with prostaglandin F2α(PGF2α) in dairy cows affected by severe clinical endometritis in (30±3) days in milk. Methods: Cows with clinical endometritis Ⅲ (n=399) were aligned into three groups randomly. The first group (n=115) received PGF2α, the second group (n=84) received intrauterine infusion (IUI) of oxytetracycline 10% + PGF2α, and the third group (n=200) received IUI. Cows were inseminated following estrus. The pregnancy status, parity, calving and artificial insemination season, ovaries with corpus luteum at the time of treatment, dystocia, body condition score and treatment groups were included in data analysis. Results: Total pregnancy rate was 40.1% after the first insemination and 94.2% after the third insemination. Overall pregnancy rate of treated cows with IUI+PGF2α(84.5%) was significantly lower than the treated cows with PGF2α(98.3%) or IUI (96%) (P<0.05). The first service pregnancy rate of inseminated cows in summer (14.3%) was lower in comparison with cows inseminated in spring (40.4%), fall (41.4%) and winter (51.7%) (P<0.05). Conclusions: PGF2α could treat severe clinical endometritis in dairy cows with corpus luteum in comparison with other treatments.
