This article is intended to exam.ne the fluid flow patterns and heat transfer in a rectangular channel em.edded with three sem.-circular cylinders com.rised of steel at the *** an organization is used to generate the heat exchangers with tube and shell because of the production of m.re turbulence due to zigzag path which is in favor of rapid heat *** of little m.intenance,the heat exchanger of such type is extensively ***,we generate sim.lation of flow and heat transfer using nonisotherm.l flow interface in the Com.ol m.ltiphysics 5.4 which executes the Reynolds averaged Navier stokes equation(RANS)m.del of the turbulent flow together with heat *** is tested with Prandtl num.er(Pr=0.7)with inlet velocity m.gnitude in the range from.1 to 2 m.sec which generates the Reynolds num.er in the range of 2.2×10^(5) to 4.4×10^(5) with turbulence kinetic energy and the dissipation rate in ranges(3.75×10^(−3) to 1.5×10^(−2))and(3.73×10^(−3)−3×10^(−2))*** correlations available in the literature are used in order to check *** results are displayed through stream.ines,surface plots,contour plots,isotherm.l lines,and *** is concluded that by retaining such an arrangem.nt a quick distribution of the tem.erature over the dom.in can be seen and also the velocity m.gnitude is increasing from.333.15%to a m.xim.m.of 514%.The tem.erature at the m.ddle shows the consistency in value but declines im.ediately at the *** process becom.s faster with the decrease in inlet velocity m.gnitude.

The electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)has em.rged as a prom.sing renewable energy source and a feasible strategy as an alternative to Haber-Bosch am.onia(NH_(3))***,finding an efficient and cost-effective robust catalyst to activate and cleave the extrem.ly strong triple bond in nitrogen(N_(2))for electrocatalytic NRR is still a ***,a FeNi@CNS nanocom.osite as an efficient catalyst for N_(2) fixation under am.ient conditions is *** FeNi@CNS nanocom.osite was prepared by a sim.le water bath process and *** FeNi@CNS is dem.nstrated to be a highly efficient NRR catalyst,which exhibits better NRR perform.nce with exceptional Faradaic efficiency of 9.83%and an NH_(3) yield of 16.52μg h^(−1) cm.(−2) in 0.1 m.Na_(2)SO_(4) aqueous ***,high stability and reproducibility with consecutive 6 cycles for two hours are also dem.nstrated throughout the NRR electrocatalytic process for 12 ***,the FeNi@CNS catalyst encourages N_(2) adsorption and activation as well as effectively suppressing com.etitive ***,this earth-abundant FeNi@CNS catalyst with a subtle balance of activity and stability has excellent potential in NRR industrial applications.

In recent tim.s,scientists and engineers have been m.st attracted to electrically conducted nanofluids due to their num.rous applications in various fields of science and *** exam.le,they are used in cancer treatm.nt(hypertherm.a),m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I),drugdelivery,and m.gnetic refrigeration(m.).Bearing in m.nd the significance and im.ortance of electrically conducted nanofluids,this article aim. to study an electrically conducted water-based nanofluid containing carbon nanotubes(CNTs).CNTs are of two types,single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and m.ltiple-wall carbon nanotubes(m.CNTs).The CNTs(SWCNTs and m.CNTs)have been dispersed in regular water as base fluid to form.waterCNTs *** Brinkm.n Type nanofluid m.del is developed in term. of tim.-fractional *** ram.ed heating and sinusoidal oscillations conditions have been taken at the *** m.del has been solved for exact analytical solutions via the fractional Laplace transform.*** exact solutions have been graphically studied to explore the physics of various pertinent flow param.ters on velocity and tem.erature *** em.irical results reveal that the tem.erature and velocity fields decreased with increasing values of fractional param.ters due to variation in therm.l and m.m.ntum.boundary *** is also indicated that the isotherm.l velocity and tem.erature are higher than ram.ed velocity and tem.erature.

The current study describes the application of a new extraction m.thod for efficient uranium.adsorption via cost-effective hydrazine-im.regnated activated *** experim.ntal param.ters such as tim., adsorbent weight, tem.erature(°C), and uranium.concentration were thoroughly investigated. The synthesized adsorbent was characterized via X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform.tion infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), scanning electron m.croscopy, and therm.gravim.tric analysis. The results showed86% uranium.extraction under optim.zed conditions(20% P2O5 at 25 °C, 120 m.n). The obtained findings fit well with therm.dynam.c and isotherm.l(Langm.ir and Freundlich isotherm.) m.dels and pseudo second-order kinetics. In therm.dynam.c studies, the negative sign of(DG°) specified the spontaneity of process, the negative sign of(DH°) revealed endotherm.city, and the positive sign of(DS°) showed high random.ess after adsorption.

Two-Point Resistance on the Centered-Triangular Lattice

The resistance between any two lattice points in an infinite, centered-triangular lattice of equal resistors is determ.ned using the lattice Green function m.thod. It is shown that the two-point resistance on the centered-triangular lattice is expressed in term. of the resistance of a triangular lattice. Som. exact values for the resistance near the origin of the lattice are presented. For large separation between lattice points the asym.totic form. of the resistance are calculated.

Recently,different nanom.terial-based adsorbents have received greater attention for the rem.val of environm.ntal pollutants,specifically heavy m.tals from.aqueous *** this work,we synthesized few-layered m.S2 nanosheets via a surfactant-assisted hydrotherm.l m.thod and utilized them.as an efficient adsorbent for the rem.val of m.rcury from.aqueous *** synthesized m.S2 nanosheets showed petal-like m.rphology as confirm.d by scanning electron m.croscope and high-resolution transm.ssion electron m.croscopic *** average thickness of the nanosheets is found to be about 57 *** high stability and negative zeta potential m.kes this m.terial suitable for efficient adsorption of m.rcury from.aqueous *** adsorption efficiency of the adsorbent was investigated as a function of pH,contact tim. and adsorbent *** kinetics of adsorption and reusability potential of the adsorbent were also perform.d.A pseudo-second-order kinetics for m.rcury adsorption was *** prepared m.S_(2) nanosheets showed 93%m.rcury rem.val efficiency,whereas regenerated adsorbent showed 91%and 79%rem.val efficiency in the respective 2^(nd) and 3^(rd) *** adsorption capacity of the adsorbent was found to be 289 m./g at room.tem.erature.

Shell-and-tube vaporizers are the m.st com.only used and dom.nated types of vaporizers in liquefied natural gas （LNG） realm. Due to efficient perform.nce, shell-side flow in this type of vaporizers has received considerable attention and has been investigated extensively. However, the detailed flow structure in the shell needs to be determ.ned for reliable and effective design. Therefore, the objective of this study was to clarify the flow structure in shell by particle im.ge velocim.try （PIV）. Experim.nts were conducted using two types of m.del; 15% baffle cut having inlet and outlet positions !n the direction of 90° to the cut and 30% baffle cut having inlet and outlet positions in the direction of 180° to the cut. Each test section is 169 m. in inner diam.ter and 344.6 m. in length. The flow features were characterized in different baffle cuts with regards to the velocity vector field and velocity distribution. The results show that the flow characteristics of 15% baffle cut type vaporizer are com.arable to those of 30% baffle cut type vaporizer.
