Isolation and Expression Analysis of Meristem Gene CLV2 and Carpel Generation Gene (CRC) from Multi-Carpel Structure of Thermopsis turcica

Thermopsis turcica is an endemic species of wild legume in Türkiye. The plant produces flower pistils with unusual morphological properties. The aim of this study was to determine the factors controlling the interesting feature of this plant. Particularly the controlling features of the flower meristem and the pistils that mutations in two genes and helps occurring the number of flower organs and can cause abnormalities, This study has attempted to explore the controlling feature of Thermopsis turcica, the young bud Arabidopsis CLV2, and CRC gene homologs were isolated and analyzed in different tissues. First, with total RNA isolated from the first thread degenerated primers synthesized cDNA expressions, second with a partial length cDNA cloning process made and the replicated set of analyses. The full-length cDNA of genes related to RACE analysis was carried out with the sequencing process. The real-time PCR method was applied for gene functional analyses with buds, sepals, petals and stamen and relative expression analysis of genes in the tissue of pistils. Full-length cDNA sequence for the gene CLV2 2557 bp, the encoded protein 716 amino acids, CRC 901 for full-length cDNA sequence of the gene—bp, the encoded protein 174 identified as amino acids. Alignment and phylogenetic analyses of CLV2 and CRC genes were found to be similar to other types of legumes in homologous sets. Real-time (RT-qPCR) PCR results relative to study courses with genes.

Ion imprinted cryogel-based supermacroporous traps for selective separation of cerium(Ⅲ) in real samples

This study demonstrates the preparation and characterization of a novel ion imprinted cryogel which exhibits high affinity and selectivity towards Ce（Ⅲ） ions in aqueous solutions and bastnasite ore samples.2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate（HEMA） and N-methacryloylamido antipyrine（MAAP） were used as functional monomers for the preparation of Ce（Ⅲ） imprinted cryogel. The effects of various factors such as initial Ce（Ⅲ） concentration, flow rate, pH, interaction time and ionic strength on the Ce（Ⅲ） binding to the prepared ion imprinted cryogels were also studied. The binding equilibrium for Ce（Ⅲ） is obtained in30 min at the flow rate of 0.5 mL/min. The maximum binding capacity of the prepared ion imprinted cryogel towards Ce（Ⅲ） is obtained as 36.58 mg/g at optimum conditions. The selectivity of the prepared ion imprinted cryogel towards Ce（Ⅲ） in the presence of other possible interfering lanthanide ions such as La（Ⅲ） and Nd（Ⅲ） were also performed. The obtained results showed that the prepared ion imprinted cryogel exhibits high selectivity and sensitivity towards Ce（Ⅲ） ions. The limit of detection（LOD） was found as 50 μg/L.

Numerical and back analysis-based methodology for support design of cut slopes at the Turkish – Georgian Border(NE Turkey)

In this study, geophysical and geotechnical studies were carried out in NE Turkey to evaluate the stability and support design of cut slopes that will be excavated during the construction of a new border control complex. 13 vertical and 3 inclined boreholes were drilled, and 2D electrical resistivity tomography surveys were conducted along 8 profiles to investigate the horizontal and vertical continuity of the geological units. Strength characteristics of all units were determined by laboratory tests. Limit equilibrium(LE) slope stability analyses were conducted on the geological model for static and pseudo-static conditions and factor of safety values as low as 0.227 were determined for post-excavation. Back analysis was conducted for the determination of required support forces on the slopes to achieve a factor of safety of 1.3. A feasible support system consisting of bored piles and rock anchors was designed based on back analysis results for each cut slope. LE analyses were repeated after the implementation of the designed support systems and the lowest factor of safety value increased to 1.35. The utility and safety of the designed support systems were investigated using finite element slope stability analyses and strength reduction factor values higher than 1.3 were determined which means support systems will function as intended and no support failure will occur. Lastly, quick reference charts were created for alluvium and residual soil materials to easily determine the safe slope angle in the future in case no support measures will be applied.

Outcomes of early physiotherapy in patients with cerebral aneurysms treated by surgical clipping or endovascular embolization

Early physiotherapy was given to 124 patients with ruptured or unruptured cerebral aneurysms who were treated by surgical clipping or endovascular *** were divided into four groups according to their Hunt and Hess grade at admission and aneurysm treatment modality： Group 1,Hunt and Hess grade≤II and surgical clipping;Group 2,Hunt and Hess grade≤II and endovascular embolization;Group 3,Hunt and Hess grade≥III and surgical clipping;Group 4,Hunt and Hess grade≥III and endovascular *** of consciousness was evaluated using the Glasgow Coma Scale,functional status using the Glasgow Outcome Scale,level of the mobility using the Mobility Scale for acute stroke patients,and independence in activities of daily living using the Barthel *** early physiotherapy,the level of consciousness and functional status improved significantly in Groups 1,3,and 4;mobility improved significantly in all groups;and independence in activities of daily living improved significantly in Groups 1 and *** discharge, Groups 1 and 2 had better functional status than Groups 3 and *** of consciousness,functional status,mobility and independence in activities of daily living improved after early physiotherapy. These findings suggest that early physiotherapy improved the prognosis of patients with cerebral aneurysms who were treated by surgical clipping or endovascular *** with a worse clinical status at presentation had a poorer functional status at *** outcome of physiotherapy was not affected by whether surgical clipping or endovascular embolization was chosen for treatment of the aneurysm.
