The visions of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 have reinforced the industrial *** have also made artificial intelligence incorporated as a major *** machine faults has become a solid foundation for automatically recognizing machine failure,and thus timely maintenance can ensure safe *** learning is a promising solution that can enhance the machine fault diagnosis model by borrowing pre-trained knowledge from the source model and applying it to the target model,which typically involves two *** response to the availability of multiple datasets,this paper proposes using selective and adaptive incremental transfer learning(SA-ITL),which fuses three algorithms,namely,the hybrid selective algorithm,the transferability enhancement algorithm,and the incremental transfer learning *** is a selective algorithm that enables selecting and ordering appropriate datasets for transfer learning and selecting useful knowledge to avoid negative *** algorithm also adaptively adjusts the portion of training data to balance the learning rate and training *** proposed algorithm is evaluated and analyzed using ten benchmark *** with other algorithms from existing works,SA-ITL improves the accuracy of all *** studies present the accuracy enhancements of the SA-ITL,including the hybrid selective algorithm(1.22%-3.82%),transferability enhancement algorithm(1.91%-4.15%),and incremental transfer learning algorithm(0.605%-2.68%).These also show the benefits of enhancing the target model with heterogeneous image datasets that widen the range of domain selection between source and target domains.

Effect of a nutrition Education Intervention on Food Safety Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Mothers of Children under 5 Years in the Peri-Urban Areas of Bobo-Dioulasso: Before and after Study

Background: This study assessed the effect of a nutrition education intervention. This intervention aimed to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of mothers on food safety in the peri-urban areas of Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso. Methods: A total of 243 mothers of children under 5 years in the peri-urban of Bobo-Dioulasso were administered the FAO questionnaire for food safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices assessment during two cross-sectional surveys, before and after the intervention, in January and October 2017. The intervention included two components consisting of a theoretical phase (counselling and discussion) and cooking demonstrations implemented for ten months. To account for the before-and-after design of the study, the Mcnemar’s test was used to assess the effect of the intervention on food safety KAP of mothers of children under 5 years. Results: The mean age of mothers was 29 ± 6.2 years and 50.6% of them were between 20 and 29 years old. One for knowledge (cooking thoroughly with, p-value = 0.0001) and another for attitudes (perceived benefits of reheating leftovers before eating them, p-value = 0.0001), significantly increased after the intervention. In terms of food safety practices, all the indicators (cleaning of dirty surfaces, plates and utensils and storage of perishable foods) significantly increased (all p = 0.0001 Conclusion: This study provided some evidence of an effective nutrition education intervention for improving maternal KAP on food safety for their child’s feeding.

Performance Analysis of Thermoacoustic Refrigerator of 10 W Cooling Power Made up of Poly-Vinyl-Chloride for Different Parallel Plate Stacks by Using Helium as a Working Fluid

Refrigerants are usually provided in the conventional refrigeration system although the refrigerants produce Chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs)and Hydro-chlorofluorocarbons(HCFCs),which are hazardous to the ***,these disadvantages can be overcome by using air or inert gas in the thermoacoustic refrigeration *** the present experimental work,helium is used as a working gas with an operating pressure range of 0.2 MPa to 1.0 MPa in order to study the performance of thermoacoustic refrigerator(TAR)which is fabricated using Poly-Vinyl-Chloride(PVC).The parallel plate stacks with different porosity ratios have been considered to study the performance of *** temperature difference between the hot and cold heat exchanger and acoustic dynamic pressure were recorded by using Bruel and Kjaer data acquisition system under different operating *** effect of different operating parameters such as operating frequency(200 Hz to 600 Hz),cooling load(2 W to 10 W)and drive ratio(0.6%to 1.6%)have also been considered to study the performance of *** TAR also modeled in DeltaEC software and the results are compared with the experimental outcomes and found to be in good *** experimental results show that-2.1℃is the lowest temperature measured at cold heat exchanger by achieving the highest temperature difference of about 32.9℃.An improvement is around 36%as compared to that of previous experiments that used aluminium *** highest Coefficient of Performance(COP)and the Relative Coefficient of Performance(COPR)are found to be 2.024 and 0.217,respectively.

Capillary Electrophoresis for the Simultaneous Determination of Metals by Using Ethylenediamine Tetraacetic Acid as Complexing Agent and Vancomycin as Complex Selector

A new separation system of capillary electrophoresis for the simultaneous determination of metals by using ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid （EDTA） as complexing agent and employing vancomycin as complex selector was described. The Z-shape cell capillary electrophoresis was used to enhance the sensitivity for the determination of the complexes of Cu（Ⅱ）, ni（Ⅱ）, Co（Ⅱ） and Fe（Ⅲ） with EDTA. The partial filling method （co-current mode） was used in order to increase the selectivity of the electrophoretic method, meanwhile vancomycin was not present at the detector path during the detection of metal-EDTA complexes. The vancomycin concentration, phosphate concentration and pH of the buffer strongly influenced mobility, resolution and selectivity of the studied analytes. Under the optimal condition, the relative standard deviations （n=5） of the migration time and the peak area were less than 3.14% and 7.35%, respectively. Application of the Z-shape cell capillary electrophoresis method with UV detection and vancomycin loading led to the reliable determination of these metal ions in tap water and the recoveries were 97%-101%. The detection limits based on a signal to noise ratio of 3 ： 1 were found in the range of 2-10 μg·L^-1.

Eolian versus fluvial supply to the northern Arabian Sea during the Holocene based on nd isotope and geochemical records

The north-eastern Arabian Sea(nE-AS)comes under a strong influence of land–ocean–climate interactions and regulates biogeochemical processes through the supply of huge amounts of dissolved and particulate materials and nutrients via eolian and fluvial *** processes underwent dramatic changes in the coastal regions due to sea-level rise and climate change during the Holocene;however,their relative roles remain *** nE-AS receives large amounts of dissolved and particulate fluxes,and therefore,reconstruction of the past surface water nd isotope composition(end)and tracing the provenance of sediment using detrital end and geochemical records would enable us to assess the role of various processes controlling these fluxes to the northern Arabian *** this study,we have generated authigenic and detrital end records and geochemical records in a sediment core from the coastal region of the nE-AS,offshore *** found that the authigenic end profile closely followed the Holocene sea-level records;early Holocene less radiogenic values(-8)were sharply shifted to more radiogenic values(-5.5)during the mid-Holocene(6–7 ka)and thereafter remained stable,close to the modern surface water end *** detrital end record broadly followed the authigenic end record,however,they differ in *** geochemical records based on major and trace elemental abundances show a similar trend to the authigenic end record and concomitant changes with the Holocene *** investigation reveals that lower sea-level stand combined with a stronger monsoon during the early Holocene resulted in enhanced fluvial weathering fluxes from the west-flowing rivers and contributed to less radiogenic *** situation changed dramatically during the mid-Holocene due to the weakening of the south-west monsoon and rapid sea level rise,which caused enhanced influence of open ocean water characterised by more radiogenic end(-6)derived from the dissolution of dust from Arabia a

A comparison of the quality of life of parents of children using hearing aids and those using cochlear implants

Objective:The goal of this study was to evaluate the quality of life of parents of children who use hearing aids(HA)with those who use cochlear implants(CI)in the Indian context and document any differences ***:The Kannada version of the AQoL-4D was administered in a modified fashion to 131 parents(87 HA and 44 CI).Sociodemographic details were collected for supplemental information on the intervention strategy ***:A total of 49 parents(29 HA and 20 CI)responded to the questionnaire *** mean total scores for both the groups were similar(HA group=17.9(SD=5.5),CI group=17.2(SD=3.4)),as was the score for the first subscale(HA group=8.6(SD=2.9);CI group=8.5(SD=2.6))of the *** significant differences were found between the two groups on either scores[Total Score:U(n_(HA)=29,nCI=20)=280.5,z=0.194,p>0.05;Subscale 1 Score:U(n_(HA)=29,nCI=20)=281.5,z=-0.176,p>0.05].The degree of hearing loss in the hearing aid group was equivalent to that of the cochlear implant group but this did not appear to influence parental quality of ***:Parents of children with hearing aids and cochlear implants appear to be similar on several psychosocial factors in the realms of functional,social,and psychological *** terms of parental quality of life,hearing aids and cochlear implants appear to be equally effective intervention techniques.

Seasonal variability of ambient nH_3, nO, nO_2 and SO_2 over Delhi

We present the diurnal and seasonal variability of ambient nH3, nO, nO2 and SO2 over Delhi, India. ambient nH3, nO and nO2 were measured continuously during winter, summer and autumn seasons using nH3- and nOx-analyzer, which operates by chemiluminescence method with a higher estimation efficiency （〉 90%） than the chemical trap method （reproducibility 4.7%）. Prominent diurnal, day-to-day and seasonal variations of ambient mixing ratio of nH3, nO, nO2 and SO2 were observed during the study period. Seasonal variation with higher mixing ratio in winter was observed for all measured trace gases except nO. Day-night variation of all measured trace gases observed was higher in winter in comparison with summer. Late morning increase in nO2 mixing ratio might be attributed to conversion of nO to nO2 with the interaction ofO3.

Hemodynamic effects of propranolol with spironolactone in patients with variceal bleeds: A randomized controlled trial

AIM: To study the hemodynamic effects of spironolactone with propranolol vs propranolol alone in the secondary prophylaxis of variceal bleeding. METHODS: Thirty-five cirrhotics with variceal bleeding randomly received propranolol (n = 17: Group A) or spironolactone plus propranolol (n = 18: Group B). Hemodynamic assessment was performed at baseline and on the eighth day. RESULTS: Spironolactone with propranolol caused a greater reduction in the hepatic venous pressure gradient than propranolol alone (26.94% vs 10.2%; P n out of eighteen patients on the combination treatment had a reduction in hepatic venous pressure gradient to ≤ 12 mmHg or a 20% reduction from baseline in contrast to only six out of seventeen (6/17) on propranolol alone (P nCLUSIOn: Spironolactone with propranolol results in a better response with a greater reduction in hepatic venous pressure gradient in the secondary prophylaxis of variceal bleeding. A greater number of patients may be protected by this combination therapy than by propranolol alone. Hence, this combination may be recommended for secondary prophylaxis in patients with variceal bleeding.

Analysis of TiO2 for microelectronic applications:effect of deposition methods on their electrical properties

Metal oxide semiconductor（MOS） device down-scaling is a powerful driving force for the evolution of microelectronics. The downsizing rate of metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors（MOSFETs） is really marvelous. Silicon dioxide（SiO2） has served as a perfect gate dielectric for the last four decades. Due to physical limitations, leakage current, high interface trap charge it now needs to be replaced with higher permittivity dielectric material. Keeping the motivation for the search of high-k materials, extensive studies have been carried out on several metal oxides, such as ZrO2, Ta2O5, TiO2, Al2O3and HfO2for the replacement of SiO2. The high dielectric constant（k） of titanium dioxide（TiO2） will open multifaceted prospects for the use of this material in microelectronic devices. In this paper, a comparative study of various deposition methods for fabrication of thin TiO2films has been presented. This work uses a combination of simulation results, experimental data and critical analysis of published data. Further, an experiment using sol-gel method has been carried out to deposit thin films of TiO2. It has been characterized and compared with the earlier reported fabrication methods. The X-ray diffraction analyses and Raman spectra indicate the presence of anatase TiO2phase in the film. The dielectric constant as calculated using capacitance-voltage（C-V） analysis was found to be 23. The refractive index of the film was *** TiO2films studied for microelectronic applications and present acceptable properties such as low leakage current density of 1.0×10–5A/cm at 1 V and band gap of 3.6 eV. The leakage current has been found to be dominant by the Schottky emission at lower electric field, while Flower-nordheim（F-n） tunneling occurs at higher biasing voltages.
