Based on theWorld Health Organization(WHO),Meningitis is a severe infection of the meninges,the membranes covering the brain and spinal *** is a devastating disease and remains a significant public health *** study investigates a bacterial meningitis model through deterministic and stochastic ***-compartment population dynamics explain the concept,particularly the susceptible population,carrier,infected,and *** model predicts the nonnegative equilibrium points and reproduction number,i.e.,the Meningitis-Free equilibrium(MFe),and Meningitis-existing equilibrium(Mee).For the stochastic version of the existing deterministicmodel,the twomethodologies studied are transition probabilities and non-parametric ***,positivity,boundedness,extinction,and disease persistence are studiedrigorouslywiththe helpofwell-known *** and nonstandard techniques such as eulerMaruyama,stochastic euler,stochastic Runge Kutta,and stochastic nonstandard finite difference in the sense of delay have been presented for computational analysis of the stochastic ***,standard methods fail to restore the biological properties of the model,so the stochastic nonstandard finite difference approximation is offered as an efficient,low-cost,and independent of time step *** addition,the convergence,local,and global stability around the equilibria of the nonstandard computational method is studied by assuming the perturbation effect is *** simulations and comparison of the methods are presented to support the theoretical results and for the best visualization of results.

extended‐spectrumβ‐lactamase(eSBL)‐producing escherichia coli(***)are widespread in China,with occurrences documented in humans,animals,and the *** dissemination of eSBL‐producing *** is likely facilitated by the widespread use of antibiotics in human and animal agriculture,the presence of antibiotic‐resistant bacteria(ARBs)in animal feces,and close human‐animal ***,particularly those belonging to incompatibility(Inc)group,such as IncF,IncI,and IncH families,play a vital role in facilitating the horizontal gene transfer of eSBL genes across various sectors,from humans to animals and the *** 26 and IS 1 elements also significantly influences the mobilization and evolution of antibiotic‐resistance genes(ARGs),contributing to the spread of eSBL‐producing ***‐M-14,blaCTX-15,and blaCTX‐M-55 are prevalent in eSBL‐producing *** across the three domains and are often found in con-junction with other *** these challenges,it is imperative to take proactive measures to prevent the further spread of *** includes the judicious and responsible use of antibiotics and efforts to mini-mize contact with animal ***‐specific strategies should be developed to effectively educate and engage relevant personnel in tackling this multifaceted *** efforts are vital to combat the dissem-ination of eSBL‐producing *** and preserve public health.

A Composite State Convergence Scheme for Bilateral Teleoperation Systems

State convergence is a novel control algorithm for bilateral teleoperation of robotic systems. First, it models the teleoperation system on state space and considers all the possible interactions between the master and slave systems. Second, it presents an elegant design procedure which requires a set of equations to be solved in order to compute the control gains of the bilateral loop. These design conditions are obtained by turning the master-slave error into an autonomous system and imposing the desired dynamic behavior of the teleoperation system. Resultantly, the convergence of master and slave states is achieved in a well-defined manner. The present study aims at achieving a similar convergence behavior offered by state convergence controller while reducing the number of variables sent across the communication channel. The proposal suggests transmitting composite master and slave variables instead of full master and slave states while keeping the operator's force channel intact. We show that,with these composite and force variables;it is indeed possible to achieve the convergence of states in a desired way by strictly following the method of state convergence. The proposal leads to a reduced complexity state convergence algorithm which is termed as composite state convergence controller. In order to validate the proposed scheme in the absence and presence of communication time delays, MATLAB simulations and semi-real time experiments are performed on a single degree-of-freedom teleoperation system.

Performance evaluation of cement-stabilized pond ash-rice husk ashclay mixture as a highway construction material

This paper reports the results of an investigation carried out on clay soil stabilized with pond ash(PA),rice husk ash(RHA) and cement. Modified Proctor compaction tests were performed in order to investigate the compaction behavior of clay, and California bearing ratio(CBR) tests were performed to determine the strength characteristics of clay. For evaluation purpose, the specimens containing different amounts of admixtures were prepared. Clay was replaced with PA and RHA at a dosage of 30%e45% and5%e20%, respectively. The influence of stabilizer types and dosages on mechanical properties of clay was evaluated. In order to study the surface morphology and crystallization characteristics of the soil samples, scanning electron microscopy(SeM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analyses were carried out,respectively. The results obtained indicated a decrease in the maximum dry density(MDD) and a simultaneous increase in the optimum moisture content(OMC) with the addition of PA and *** linear regression analysis(MLRA) showed that the predicted values of CBR tests are in good agreement with the experimental values. Developed stabilized soil mixtures showed satisfactory strength and can be used for construction of embankments and stabilization of sub-grade soil. The use of locally available soils, PA, RHA, and cement in the production of stabilized soils for such applications can provide sustainability for the local construction industry.

Charmonia and bottomonia in asymmetric magnetized hot nuclear matter

We investigate the mass-shift of P-wave charmonium(χc0,χc1),and S and P-wave bottomonium(ηb,■,χb0,andχb1)states in magnetized hot asymmetric nuclear matter using the unification of QCD sum rules(QCDSR)and the chiral S U(3)*** QCDSR,we use two approaches,i.e.,the moment sum rule and the Borel sum *** magnetic field induced scalar gluon condensateand the twist-2 gluon operatorcalculated in the chiral S U(3)model are utilised in QCD sum rules to calculate the in-medium mass-shift of the above *** attractive mass-shift of these mesons is observed,which is more sensitive to magnetic field in the high density regime for charmonium,however less so for *** results may be helpful to understand the decay of higher quarkonium states to the lower quarkonium states in asymmetric heavy ion collision experiments.

T Parallel wire strands(PWSs),which are widely used in prestressed steel structures,are typically in highstress *** fire conditions,significant creep effects occur,reducing the prestress and influencing the mechanical behavior of *** there is no existing approach to analyze their creep behavior,this study experimentally investigated the elevated temperature creep model of PWSs.A charge-coupled camera system was incorporated to accurately obtain the deformation of the specimen during the elevated temperature creep *** was concluded that the temperature level had a more significant effect on the creep strain than the stress level,and 450℃ was the key segment point where the creep rate varied *** comparing the elevated temperature creep test results for PWSs and steel strands,it was found that the creep strain of PWSs was lower than that of steel strands at the same temperature and stress *** parameters in the general empirical formula,the Bailey–Norton model,and the composite timehardening model were fitted based on the experimental *** evaluating the accuracy and form of the models,the composite time-hardening model,which can simultaneously consider temperature,stress,and time,is recommended for use in the fire-resistance design of pre-tensioned structures with PWSs.

Protective effect of Sharbat-e-Deenar against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in experimental animals

OBJeCTIVe: To investigate the effect of Sharbat-e-Deenar(SD) on acetaminophen(APAP)-induced hepatotoxicity in rat ***: Albino rats were treated with SD at the doses of 1, 2 and 4 mL/kg, p.o. against hepatotoxicity after APAP(2 g/kg, p.o. once only) *** blood, tissue biochemical parameters and histopathological observation were performed. The ReSULTS: APAP exposure in rats significantly increased the level of biochemical parameters such as aspartate aminotransaminase, alanine aminotransaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, serum alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin, urea and creatinine into blood circulation which were reversed towards normal by SD therapy at all doses. The tissue biochemical parameters such as lipid peroxidation, reduced glutathione, adenosine tri-phosphatase and glucose-6-phosphatase were significantly restored after SD treatment against hepatotoxity. Histological analysis confirmed that SD-treated rats significantly alleviated of liver damage and reduced lesions caused by APAP intoxication. The biochemical changes are in good correlation with the histopathological ***: On the basis of these results, it can be concluded that SD exerts hepatoprotective activity against APAP-induced liver injury.

electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2) RR) can store and transform the intermittent renewable energy in the form of chemical energy for industrial production of chemicals and fuels,which can dramatically reduce CO_(2) emission and contribute to carbon-neutral cycle. e cient electrocatalytic reduction of chemically inert CO_(2) is challenging from thermodynamic and kinetic points of view. Therefore,low-cost,highly e cient,and readily available electrocatalysts have been the focus for promoting the conversion of CO_(2). Very recently,interface engineering has been considered as a highly e ective strategy to modulate the electrocatalytic performance through electronic and/or structural modulation,regulations of electron/proton/mass/intermediates,and the control of local reactant concentration,thereby achieving desirable reaction pathway,inhibiting competing hydrogen generation,breaking binding-energy scaling relations of intermediates,and promoting CO_(2) mass transfer. In this review,we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of current developments in interface engineering for CO_(2) RR from both a theoretical and experimental stand-point,involving interfaces between metal and metal,metal and metal oxide,metal and nonmetal,metal oxide and metal oxide,organic molecules and inorganic materials,electrode and electrolyte,molecular catalysts and electrode,etc. Finally,the opportunities and challenges of interface engineering for CO_(2) RR are proposed.
