Legal documents are generally big and complex documents because of specific vocabulary,semantics and structure.One of the major challenges in legal processing systems is to generate summary of legal judgements.Till date,in most of the legal systems,the summary of judgements is produced manually by legal experts which are then used by Lawyers,Judges and other legal professionals.The manual process of summarization is very inefficient and time-consuming.Automatic text summarization(ATS)is the process of reducing the content of a textual document,while retaining the core description of text through the use of appropriate tool.The present work proposes a novel Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical process(FAHP)based feature weighting scheme which helps in producing an efficient and effective summary of legal judgement.Model is applied on a number of legal judgements taken from Indian IT Act.Validation of the model is done using ROUGE(Recall-Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation)tool with recall,precision,and f-measure as performance measures.The generated summaries are further assessed by legal experts and are found to be more promising than the summaries generated by traditional approaches.

We study the emission of fragments in central collisions of light and heavily charged systems of^4+Ar+^45 Sc and^s4Kr+^197 Au,respectively,using the Quantum Molecular Dynamics(QMD)model as the primary model.The fragments are identified using an energy based clusterization algorithm,i.e.,the Simulated Annealing Clusterization Algorithm(SACA).The charge distributions of intermediate mass fragments[3≤Zf≤12]are fitted with power-law(∝Zf^-τ)and exp on ential(∝e^-λZf)fits in order to extract the parametersτandλ,whose minimum values are also sometimes linked with the onset of fragmentation or the critical point for a liquid-gas phase transition.Other parameters such as the normalized second moment,,average size of the second largest cluster,phase separation parameter(Sp),bimodal parameter(P),information entropy(H),and Zipfs law are also analyzed to find the exact energy of the onset of fragmentation.Our detailed analysis predicts that an energy point exists between 20-23.1 MeV/nucleon,which is very close to the experimentally observed value of 23.9 MeV/nucleon for the^40Ar+^45Sc reaction.We also find that the critical energy deduced using Zipfs law is higher than those predicted from other critical exponents.Moreover,no minimum is found for t values of the highly charged system of^84Kr+^197Au,in agreement with experimental findings and various theoretical calculations.We observe that the QMD+SACA model calculations are in agreement with the experimental observations.This agreement supports our results regarding the energy point of the liquid-gas phase transition and the onset of fragmentation.

The HWRF-POM-TC coupled model is run operationally at India Meteorological Department(IMD).This study is first attempt to assess the IMD’s operational HWRF-POM-TC(Atmosphere-Ocean)coupled model forecast performance over North Indian Ocean(NIO).The two cyclonic storms one each in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal were examined.Among them,VSCS LUBAN formed over Arabian Sea(AS)and was followed by the formation of VSCS TITLI over Bay of Bengal(Bo B).It constituted a rare case whereby two VSCS have formed in the north Indian Ocean(NIO)simultaneously.The HWRF-POM-TC modeling system,which was developed at National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)based on Nonhydrostatic Mesoscale Model(NMM)dynamic core,was customized for NIO conditions.For the two storms,VSCS LUBAN&VSCS TITLI,28 and 15 consecutive 6-hourly HWRF model runs were performed.The HWRF-POM-TC coupled model showed great skill in forecasting of Track and Intensity for examined cyclones.The result shows that the model predicted the intensification and landfall of VSCS Luban&Titli in agreement with the best track data as made available by Cyclone Warning Division(CWD),India Meteorological Department which is also recognized as Regional Specialized Meteorological Center(RSMC)by WMO for NIO.

目的:研究穴位指压疗法作为药物治疗的辅助手段对膝骨关节炎(KOA)患者疼痛和健康相关生活质量的影响.方法:从本研究所骨科门诊纳入100名KOA患者.将患者随机(掷币简单随机法)分为干预组(n=50)和对照组(n=50).干预组患者在药物治疗的同时接受穴位指压.对照组患者仅接受药物治疗,不予以穴位指压.观察并记录治疗前基线(A0),治疗期间(A1),治疗后第3个月随访(A2)和治疗后第6个月随访(A3)时疼痛[视觉模拟量表(VAS)]和生活质量[简明健康测量量表(SF-36)]评分.运用多元回归分析法分析疼痛和SF-36各项之间的关系.结果:干预组患者VAS评分第6个月随访时显著降低(P=0.001).干预组SF-36中躯体功能(PF)、情绪(RE)及心理健康(MH)评分较对照组改善更加显著.干预组VAS(疼痛)评分改善的患者SF-36各项平均分较基线水平均有更显著变化(均P<0.05).除躯体疼痛(BP)一项外,SF-36其他项评分均与疼痛评分呈负相关.结论:穴位指压联合药物疗法可改善KOA患者的健康相关生活质量及疼痛.

Software reliability is defined as the probability of the failure-free operation of a software system for a specified period of time in a specified environment. Traditional approaches for software reliability analysis are black box approaches. These approaches use the software as a whole. At present, main emphasis of software is on reuse, hence component based software applications came into existence. Black box models are not appropriate for these applications. This paper introduces some significant factors for reliability estimation of Component Based Software Applications. Reliability of Component Based Software Application depends upon these factors. This paper?also gives the definition of factors and explains its relation with reliability of software application.

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA)is an ideal choice for 5G waveforms due to their characteristics such as high data rate,massive device connectivity,high spectral access,and effective frequency selective fading.Thus,it permits gigantic connectivity.The spectrum overlaps with NOMA,which consents several operators to segment the spectrum at the same frequency.These features make NOMA more suitable for use beyond 5G.Peak to Average Power(PAPR)is a major problem in Multi-Carrier Techniques(MCT)like NOMA and it also degrades the performance of the amplifier.The Partial Transmission Sequence(PTS)is a superior algorithm for moderating the PAPR.However,it also increases the complexity of the structure.The PAPR is reduced in NOMA by multiplying the NOMA signal with optimised phase vectors(P).The phase vectors are generated by using the Vandermonde Matrix(VM).In this work,we proposed a VM-PTS algorithm for the NOMA system,and the number of computations to search the optimal phase vectors for NOMA high PAPR signal is less as compared with existing PTS.The outcomes demonstrate that the performance of the recommended PTS in terms of PAPR,Bit Error Rate(BER),and complexity is better than the conventional PTS(C-PTS).

Towards Multi-Faceted Test Cases Optimization

The target of software engineering is to produce high quality software product at low cost. Software testing is labour-intensive, ambiguous and error prone activity of software development. How to provide cost-effective strategies for software test cases optimization problem such as classification, minimization, selection, and prioritization has been one of the research focuses in software testing for a long time. Many researchers and academicians have addressed the effectiveness/fitness and optimization of test cases, and obtained many interesting results. However, one issue of paramount importance in software testing i.e. the intrinsic imprecise and uncertainty of test cases fitness, fitness parameters, multi-objective optimization, is left unaddressed. Test cases fitness depends on several parameters. Vagueness of fitness of test cases and their fitness parameters have created the uncertainty in test cases optimization. Cost and adequacy values are incorporated into multi-faceted optimization of test cases. This paper argues test cases optimization requires multi-faceted optimization in order to adequately cater realistic software testing. In this paper, authors have identified several parameters for test cases fitness and multiple objectives for test cases optimization. In addition above, authors have formulated the test cases optimization problem in three different ways using multi-faceted concept. These formulations can be used in future by authors and researchers.

Spectrum sensing is one of the major concerns in reaching an efficientQuality of service (QOS) in the advanced mobile communication system. Theadvanced engineering sciences such as 5G, device 2 device communications(D2D), Internet of things (IoT), MIMO require a large spectrum for better service.Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is not a choice in advancedradio due to the Cyclic Prefix (CP), wastage of the spectrum, and so on. Hence, itis important to explore the spectral efficient advanced waveform techniques andcombine a cognitive radio (CR) with the 5G waveform to sense the idle spectrum,which overcomes the spectrum issue. The demand for spectrum is ever increasing;however, spectrum is limited and is an acutely scarce resource. To alleviate theissue, techniques like Cognitive Radios (CR) have been devised. However, suchtechniques are non-standardized, and many variations of CR algorithms have beentried and tested. This paper details the several spectrum sensing methods tailoredfor CR. We explain the benefits, uniqueness, and drawbacks of the various techniques to provide a comprehensive review of the scene, including all recent andnovel techniques of CR. Finally, we provided experimental results for the performance of the CR for key 5G and beyond modulation techniques to elaborate thedependency of the CR techniques for CR applications and provide a competitivereview of their performance. Experiments show that the CR integrated withNOMA shows better performance as compared with existing techniques.

Electric smart grids enable a bidirectional flow of electricity and information among power system assets.For proper monitoring and con-trolling of power quality,reliability,scalability and flexibility,there is a need for an environmentally friendly system that is transparent,sustainable,cost-saving,energy-efficient,agile and secure.This paper provides an overview of the emerging technologies behind smart grids and the internet of things.The dependent variables are identified by analyzing the electricity consumption patterns for optimal utilization and planning preventive maintenance of their legacy assets like power distribution transformers with real-time parameters to ensure an uninterrupted and reliable power supply.In addition,the paper sorts out challenges in the traditional or legacy electricity grid,power generation,transmission,distribution,and revenue management challenges such as reduc-ing aggregate technical and commercial loss by reforming the existing manual or semi-automatic techniques to fully smart or automatic systems.This article represents a concise review of research works in creating components of the smart grid like smart metering infrastructure for postpaid as well as in prepaid mode,internal structure comparison of advanced metering methods in present scenarios,and communication systems.
