The present work encompasses identification and characterization of major degradation product (DP) of OSM observed in base hydrolytic stress study. The separation of DP was carried out on a non-polar stationary phase by using high-performance liquid chromatography system (HPLC). Using waters X-bridge (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) C18 column with gradient elution program. For the characterization study, stress samples were subjected to HPLC and UPLC-QTOF-MS/MS and based on mass fragmentation pattern, plausible structure was deduced. Further, the DP was isolated using semi-prepara- tive liquid chromatography and concentrated the fractions using lyophilization. The isolated DP was subjected to extensive 1D (1H, 13C, and DEPT-135) and 2D (COSY, HSQC and HMBC) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies to authenticate the structure. Background.There exist few maximal oxygen uptake(VO_(2max))non-exercise-based.pred.ction equations,fewer using machine learning(ML),and.none specifically for old.r *** d.rect measurement of VO_(2max)is infeasible in large epid.miologic cohort stud.es,we sought to d.velop,valid.te,compare,and.assess the transportability of several ML VO_(2max)pred.ction ***:The Baltimore Longitud.nal Stud. of Aging(BLSA)participants with valid.VO2_(max)tests were includ.d.n=1080).Least absolute shrinkage and.selection operator,linear-and.tree-boosted.extreme grad.ent boosting,rand.m forest,and.support vector machine(SVM)algorithms were trained.to pred.ct VO_(2max)*** d.veloped.these algorithms for:(a)the overall BLSA,(b)by sex,(c)using all BLSA variables,and.d.variables common in aging ***,we quantified.the associations between measured.and.pred.cted.VO_(2max)and.***:The age was 69.0±10.4 years(mean±Sd.and.the measured.VO_(2max)was 21.6±5.9 mL/kg/*** absolute shrinkage and.selection operator,linear-and.tree-boosted.extreme grad.ent boosting,rand.m forest,and.support vector machine yield.d.root mean squared.errors of 3.4 mL/kg/min,3.6 mL/kg/min,3.4 mL/kg/min,3.6 mL/kg/min,and.3.5 mL/kg/min,*** quartiles of measured.VO_(2max)showed.an inverse grad.ent in mortality *** VO_(2max)variables yield.d.similar effect estimates but were not robust to ***:Measured.VO_(2max)is a strong pred.ctor of *** ML can improve the accuracy of pred.ction as compared.to simpler approaches but estimates of association with mortality remain sensitive to *** stud.es should.seek to reprod.ce these results so that VO_(2max),an important vital sign,can be more broad.y stud.ed.as a mod.fiable target for promoting functional resiliency and.healthy aging.

This paper presents the fabrication,characterization and.numerical simulation of poly-3-hexylthiophene(P3HT)-based.bottom-gate bottom-contact(BGBC)organic thin film transistors(OTFTs).The simulation is based.on a d.ift d.ffusion charge transport mod.l and.d.nsity of d.fect states(d.S)for the traps in the band.gap of the P3HT based.*** combines two mobility mod.ls,a hopping mobility mod.l and.the Poole-Frenkel mobility *** also d.scribes the d.fect d.nsity of states(d.S)for both tail and.d.ep *** mod.l takes into account all the operating regions of the OTFT and.includ.s sub-threshold.and.above threshold.characteristics of *** mod.l has been verified.by comparing the numerically simulated.results with the experimental *** mod.l is also used.to simulate d.fferent structure in four configurations of OTFT ***-gate bottom-contact(BGBC),bottom-gate top-contact(BGTC),top-gate bottom-contact(TGBC)and.top-gate top-contact(TGTC)configurations of the *** also present the compact mod.ling and.mod.l parameter extraction of the P3HT-based.*** extracted.compact mod.l has been further applied.in a p-channel OTFT-based.inverter and.three stage ring oscillator circuit simulation.

The 2015/16 El Nio d.veloped.from weak warm cond.tions in late 2014 and.NINO3.4 reached.3℃ in November 2015. We d.scribe the characteristics of the evolution of the 2015/16 El Nio using various d.ta sets includ.ng SST, surface wind.,outgoing longwave rad.ation and.subsurface temperature from an ensemble operational ocean reanalyses, and.place this event in the context of historical ENSO events since 1979. One salient feature about the 2015/16 El Nio was a large number of westerly wind.bursts and.d.wnwelling oceanic Kelvin waves(d.KVs). Four d.KVs were observed.in April-November 2015 that initiated.and.enhanced.the eastern-central Pacific warming. Eastward.zonal current anomalies associated.with d.KVs ad.ected.the warm pool water eastward.in spring/summer. An upwelling Kelvin wave(UWKV) emerged.in early November 2015 lead.ng to a rapid.d.cline of the event. Another outstand.ng feature was that NINO4 reached.a historical high(1.7℃), which was 1℃(0.8℃) higher than that of the 1982/83(1997/98) El Nio . Although NINO3 was comparable to that of the 1982/83 and.1997/98 El Nio , NINO1+2 was much weaker. Consistently, enhanced.convection was d.splaced.20 d.gree westward. and.the maximum d.0 anomaly was about 1/3.1/2 of that in 1997 and.1982 near the west coast of South America.

In this stud., bacteria associated.with marine organisms were screened.for the prod.ction of exopolysaccharid.s（EPSs） on MY med.a containing sea salts（2.5%-10%）. Three selected.isolates were id.ntified.as Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21, Nitratired.ctor sp. PRIM-24 and.Enterobacter sp. PRIM-26 using 16 S r RNA gene sequencing. Optimization of the growth and.EPS prod.ction kinetics in relation to incubation time were assessed. The purified.EPS yield.was 590, 650 and.540 mg·L-1 culture med.a respectively in Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21, Nitratired.ctor sp. PRIM-24 and.Enterobacter sp. PRIM-26. Biochemical and.FTIR analyses revealed.the presence of biologically important functional groups in the EPS prod.ced.by all the three isolates. The EPS prod.ced.by Nitratired.ctor sp. PRIM-24 and.Alteromonas sp. PRIM-21 showed.2.0% sulfate content. These bacterial EPS also showed.antioxid.nt and.emulsifying activities and.the EPS prod.ced.by Enterobacter ***-26 showed.significantly higher antioxid.nt activities in terms of superoxid.（IC50 0.33 mg·mL -1） and.d.PH（IC50 0.44 mg·mL -1） rad.cal scavenging. It also showed.higher emulsifying activities against selected.hyd.ophobic substrates with EI24 values above 60%. From the results of the stud., it can be conclud.d.that the isolated.bacteria prod.ce EPS that can be investigated.in d.tail for biotechnological applications.
