The group standard Pharmacovigilance guidelines f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent medicines f.r mucosal administration was released on January 16, 2024, on the national group standards inf.rmation platf.rm by the Institute of.Basic Research in Clinical medicine of.China Academy of.Chinese medical sciences and school and Hospital of.stomatology of.Peking University, under the centralized management by the China Association of.Chinese medicine. The standard number is T / CACm 1563. 6-2024. It aims to propose key elements and specif. technical methods f.r saf.ty monitoring and reporting, signal identif.cation, risk assessment, and risk control based on the Drug administration law of.the People ' s Republic of.China (revised in 2019), which establishes normative pharmacovigilance guideline of.Chinese patent medicine f.r mucosal administration that is in line with the characteristics of.traditional Chinese medicine (TCm) based on the pharmacovigilance content f.r clinical application of.Chinese patent medicine f.r mucosal administration. The group standard has been discussed by internal and external experts through multiple rounds of.consultation. It serves as a guiding document f.r stakeholders involved in pharmacovigilance activities, including pharmaceutical license holders, drug manuf.cturers, medical institutions, research institutes, and pharmaceutical trading enterprises. © 2024 Zhongguo Zhongyi Yanjiuyuan. Evidence f.r the Reliability and Validity of.the Arabic Version of.the student Risk screening scale f.r Internalizing and Externalizing Behaviors (sRss-IE)

school-based universal screening f.r behavioral/emotional risk is a necessary f.rst step to providing services in an educational setting f.r students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBDs). Psychometric properties are critical to making decisions about choosing a screening instrument. The purpose of.the present study was to examine the psychometric properties of.the student risk screening scale f.r internalizing and externalizing behaviors (sRss-IE). Participants included 3145 students and their teachers. Item-level analyses of.the current sample supported the retention of.all items. The internal consistency of.the sRss items ranged f.om 0.83 to 0.85. Convergent validity between the sRss-IE and a well-established screening tool, the strength and dif.iculties questionnaire (sDQ), was f.und f.r the total score (r = 0.70). Additionally, the results of.this study demonstrate strong social validity, suggesting the sRss-IE to be a usef.l and f.nctional screening tool. We conclude that the sRss-IE is a valid and reliable instrument f.r assessing the level of.emotional and behavioral dif.iculties among elementary students.

Drug administration law of.the People′s Republic of.China (2019 revised edition), which came into ef.ect on December 1, 2019, proposed that " the state shall establish a pharmacovigilance system" . Pharmacovigilance work of.Chinese patent medicines is more dif.icult, and it is necessary to carry out Pharmacovigilance activities that are in line with the characteristics of.Chinese patent medicines. Pharmacovigilance guidelines of.Chinese patent medicines (T / CACm 1563. 1-2024), based on the principles of.Drug Administration Law of.the People′ s Republic of.China (2019 revised edition) and Pharmacovigilance quality management standards (No. 65 of.2021) of.the National medical Products Administration, draws on the EU Pharmacovigilance regulation and the secondary guidelines of.International Council f.r Harmonization of.Technical Requirements f.r Pharmaceuticals f.r Human Use (ICH), and it is draf.ed in accordance with the provisions of.Guidelines f.r standardization work part 1: structure and draf.ing rules of.standardization documents (GB / T1. 1-2020) based on the characteristics of.Chinese patent medicines. The aim of.the present study was to determine the prevalence of.bovine cysticercosis in both cattle and buf.loas, in Egypt and to assess the cysticidal ef.icacy of.Balanites aegyptiaca f.uits (B. aegyptiaca) and moringa oleif.ra seeds (m. oleif.ra) extracts in experimentally inf.cted mice. The study detected the level of.tumor necrosis f.ctor (TNf.α) to monitor the immune and inf.ammatory responses of.experimentally inf.cted mice. Through meat inspection, a total number of.2125 male bovine, 2 to 5 years old, (1125 cattle and 1000 buf.loes) were examined under the authority of.Albsatine and Alwaraq of.icial abattoirs in Cairo Governorate, Egypt covering the period extended f.om march 2022 to April 2023. The overall prevalence of.the disease among bovine was 7.8% (6.31% of.cattle and 9.5% of.buf.loes). Besides, B. aegyptiaca and m. oleif.ra extracts showed cysticidal activity in experimentally inf.cted mice. A decrease in the numbers of.cysticerci was f.und in all treated mice groups, and up to 88% reduction was achieved in the B. aegyptiaca-treated group;higher than that was recorded in both m. oleif.ra (72.23%) and albendazole-treated ones (80.56%). Postmortem f.ndings proved that m. oleif.ra and B. aegyptiaca reduced cysticerci numbers comparable to a commercial anthelmintic. The study showed a signif.cant decrease (P 0.001) in TNf.α levels af.er treatment with Balanites and moringa extracts, compared with the untreated control and the albendazole-treated groups.

Objective: The aim of.the work described here was to evaluate the role of.contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUs) in response evaluation f.r unresectable advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) plus anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) antibody therapy. methods: A prospective cohort of.consecutive patients with HCC who received combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody treatment f.r unresectable HCC between January 2022 and October 2022 was included in this study. The patients underwent unenhanced ultrasound (Us) and CEUs examinations bef.re treatment and at f.llow-up. Changes in the largest diameters of.the target tumor on unenhanced Us and the largest diameters of.the enhancing target tumors on CEUs were evaluated. Response Evaluation Criteria in solid Tumors (RECIsT) version 1.1 with unenhanced Us and magnetic resonance imaging/computed tomography (mRI/CT) and modif.ed RECIsT (mRECIsT) with CEUs and CEmRI/CT were used to assess treatment response. Results: A total of.24 HCC patients (23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C, 62.5%; 29 intrahepatic target tumors) were studied. Calculations of.degree of.necrosis in the target tumors revealed no signif.cant dif.erences between CEUs and CEmRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As f.r the dif.erentiation of.responders f.om non-responders, the agreement between RECIsT version 1.1 of.unenhanced Us and mRECIsT-CEUs was poor (κ coef.icient = 0.233). meanwhile, there was a high degree of.concordance between mRECIsT-CEUs and mRECIsT-CEmRI/CT (κ coef.icient = 0.812). Conclusion: CEUs proved to be superior to baseline Us and is comparable to CEmRI/CT in def.ning treatment outcome f.r combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody therapy. © 2023 World f.deration f.r Ultrasound in medicine & Biology

studies f.om nearly 3 decades ago suggested that,in the central nervous system(CNs),myelination of.axons by oligodendrocytes not only helps improve axonal conductivity but also stabilizes circuitry(Colello and schwab,1994).Over the years,myelin sheaths produced by oligodendrocytes have been f.und to contain multiple molecules that are inhibitory to axonal growth(e.g.,mAG,NogoA,Omgp,semaphorins)(Yiu and He,2006;silver et al.,2014).Af.er white matter injury in the adult CNs,myelin debris f.om damaged axons and dead oligodendrocytes accumulates in the f.rming glial scar and exposes these myelin-associated axon growth-inhibitory molecules to the injured axonal stumps,thereby contributing to the inhibition of.axonal *** development,CNs axons reach their postsynaptic targets and stop growing bef.re oligodendrocytes appear and myelinate them(f.ran and Peterson,1992;Dangata et al.,1996).Theref.re,myelin-associated axon growth-inhibitory molecules interacting with already grown axons during myelination were thought to block axons f.om promiscuous sprouting and miswiring,thereby stabilizing neural circuitry in the CNs(Colello and schwab,1994).
