Penile prosthetic implantation represents a cornerstone for patients with organic erectile dysfunction(ED)that is refractory,unsatisfactory,or contra-indicated for other approved medical or mechanical *** this study,we introduce the“Ghattas technique,”wherein we constructed a polypropylene mesh sheath that surrounds and is fixed to a 13-mm malleable prosthesis cylinder,which can increase the cylinder diameter for cases that need a larger *** patients underwent preoperative evaluation and completed the five-item International Index of Erectile Function questionnaire(IIEF-5).Postoperative outcomes were evaluated by IIEF-5 and Erectile Dysfunction Inventory of Treatment Satisfaction(EDITS)questionnaires at final *** mean age of the 23 included patients was 57.9(standard deviation[s.d.]:11.4)years and the mean duration of ED was 8.5(s.d.:7.9)*** improvement was determined by comparing mean preoperative and postoperative IIEF-5 scores(8.3[s.d.:3.9]vs 24.6[s.d.:0.6],Plarger than 13 *** studies are needed to confirm these results.

Due to growing social acceptance,there has been an increasing number of gender-affirmation surgeries performed in North *** research in this patient population focuses on surgical outcomes and advancing ***,little work has been done to study functional *** better evaluate urinary dysfunction in the postphalloplasty trans men patient population,our group developed a novel patient-reported outcome instrument-the postphalloplasty urinary function test(PP UFT)and protocol to measure postvoid urethral volume(PVUR),and we present our preliminary *** conducted a cross-sectional pilot study in a cohort of 15 adult trans men who had undergone phalloplasty with urethral lengthening surgery between 2018 and *** had stable urinary function via the neophallus at the time of *** filled out the PP UFT and were asked to record their PVUR as per our *** average PP UFT score was 8.9 out of 40 and the average quality-of-life(QOl)score was *** dribbling constituted the major complaint and on average comprised 63.2%of the reported PP UFT *** average PVUR was 2.2 ml(range:0.5-5.6 ml).There was a positive correlation between higher PP UFT and worse-reported quality of life(Ple urology have limitations for accurately capturing urinary dysfunction in this specific patient *** combination of PP UFT and PVUR measurement offers potential for quantifying urinary function and quality of life in patients who undergo *** studies will validate these instruments.

The synergistic study of Acacia Senegal (arabic gum) and Anacardium occidentale (cashew gum) combination in corrosion inhibition of mild steel was carried out to determine the inhibition efficiency of their combination. The gums were purified using standard methods and the blend prepared using the method as described by Femi – Oyewo et al. The blend was then used for corrosion study at two temperatures (303 K and 333 K) and the corrosion rates calculated. The adsorption process was found to satisfy the langmuir isotherm and hence the sorption study reveals that the interaction is a physical one since the free energy of adsorption (ΔG^(o) ads kJ/mol) is given as (−16.47 and −15.61) kJ/mol at temperature T = 303 K and 333K accordingly. The GCMS technique was used to characterize the blend, five chemical compounds and their area percentage [6-O-(1-l-maloyl)-alpha-,beta-D-Glcp (veracylglucan A) (22.11%), 6-Octadecanoic acid (55.76%), Methylhexadecanoate (3.97%), 1-Pentadecane carboxylic acid (10.78%) and 9, 12-Octadecadienoic acid (7.38%)] were identified and subjected to computation corrosion study, the binding energy for the constituents of the blend on Fe surface were computed using Accelrys Material Studio and the mean values were found to be −327.097 kJ/mol, −446.943 kJ/mol, −602.826 kJ/mol, −608.625 kJ/mol and −693.749 kJ/mol respectively.

Important roles for reactive oxygen species （ROS） in physiology and pathophysiology have been increasingly recognized. Under normal conditions, ROS serve as signaling molecules in the regulation of cellular functions. However, enhanced ROS production as a result of the activation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate （NADPH） oxidase contributes significantly to the pathogeneses of vascular diseases. Although it has become evident that increased ROS is associated with erectile dysfunction （ED）, the sources of ROS in the penis remain largely unknown. In recent years, emergent evidence suggests the possible role of NADPH oxidase in inducing ED. In this review, we examine the relationship between ROS and ED in different disease models and discuss the current evidence basis for NADPH oxidase-derive＇d ROS in ED.

Multi-frequency C and l bands in the TOPSAR data have been utilized to reconstruct three-dimensional(3-D)bathymetry *** main objective of this study is to utilize fuzzy arithmetic to reduce the errors arising from speckle in synthetic aperture radar(SAR)data when constructing ocean bathymetry from polarized SAR *** doing so,two 3-D surface models,the Volterra algorithm and a fuzzy B-spline(FBS)algorithm,which construct a global topological structure between the data points,were used to support an approximation to the real *** algorithm was used to express the non-linearity of TOPSAR data intensity gradient based on the action balance equation(ABC).In this context,a first-order kernel of Volterra algorithm was used to express ABC *** inverse of Volterra algorithm then performed to simulate 2-D current velocities from CVV and lHH ***,the 2-D continuity equation then used to estimate the water *** order to reconstruct 3-D bathymetry pattern,the FBS has been performed to water depth information which was estimated from 2-D continuity *** best reconstruction of coastal bathymetry of the test site in Kuala Terengganu,Malaysia,was obtained with polarized l and C bands SAR acquired with HH and VV polarizations,*** 10 m spatial resolution of TOPSAR data,bias of0.004 m,the standard error mean of 0.023 m,r2 value of 0.95,and 90%confidence intervals in depth determination was obtained with lHH band.

The structure [MnmTPP][Me2DCNQI] （TPP = tetraphenylporphinato; Me2DCNQI = 2,5-dimethyl-N,N＇-dicyanoquinonediimine） has been determined from X-ray powder diffraction data. The nonsolvated structure is composed of linear （I-D） chains of alternating [MnmTPP]＋ and ta-[MezDCNQI]＇- with intrachain Mn...Mn separations of 12.83 A, and a Mn-NDcNQI distance of 2.18A. The dihedral angle between the mean Mn（N4）xpp and [MezDCNQI]＇-planes, and the Mn-（N-C）ocNQ1 angle are 84.18° and 143.6°, respectively. [MnInTpP][MezDCNQI] has a Tc of 4.3 K from the 10 Hz x（T） data, 2-K coercivity of 5,600 Oe, and 6,300 emuOe/mol remnant magnetization that are reduced from that observed for related materials, and their in- clusion extends the magnetostructural correlation between the intrachain coupling and both the dihedral angle between the mean Mn（N4）xPp and [TCNE]＇-（TCNE --- tetracyanoethylene） planes and Mn-（N-C）Tcr angles. This is in accord with the in- trachain coupling arising from the overlap of the Mnm dz2-1ike singly occupied molecular orbital （SOMO） and the z component of the [TCNE]- π＊（π2＊） SOMO, which increases with decreasing dihedral angle between the mean Mn（N4）xep and [TCNE]＇- planes and Mn-（N-C）TcNE angle.
