Cells,tissues,and organs are constantly subjected to the action of mechanical forces from the extracellular environment-and the nervous system is no ***-intrinsic properties such as membrane lipid composition,abundance of mechanosensors,and cytoskeletal dynamics make cells more or less likely to sense these *** and extrinsic cues are integrated by cells and this combined information determines the rate and dynamics of membrane protrusion growth or retraction(Yamada and Sixt,2019).Cell protrusions are extensions of the plasma membrane that play crucial roles in diverse contexts such as cell migration and neuronal synapse *** the nervous system,neurons are highly dynamic cells that can change the size and number of their pre-and postsynaptic elements(called synaptic boutons and dendritic spines,respectively),in response to changes in the levels of synaptic activity through a process called *** plasticity is a hallmark of the nervous system and is present throughout our lives,being required for functions like memory formation or the learning of new motor skills(Minegishi et al.,2023;Pillai and Franze,2024).

BACKGROUND： Pulse wave analysis（PWA） quantifies the phenomenon of pulse waveform propagation in patients with cardiovascular diseases, whereas pulse image analysis（PIA） is a subjective examination in traditional Chinese medicine. OBJECTIVE： This study evaluated the association of PIA with PWA and hemodynamics in patients with hypertension. DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS： This observational, cross-sectional study enrolled 45 patients（26 men,（55.2± 10.3） years, systolic blood pressure（155± 28） mm Hg, diastolic blood pressure（93± 17） mm Hg） for assessment of clinical and laboratorial data. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Primary outcomes comprised： pattern differentiation based on an automated method; PIA at the radial artery using the ‘simultaneous pressing＇ method for identification of factors such as strength（strong/weak）, depth（superficial/deep）, and speed（fast/moderate/slow）; and PWA at the same artery using a noninvasive system. RESULTS： Significant multivariate main effects were observed for depth（l=0.648, F_（5,29）=3.149, P=0.022, h^2 =0.352）, strength（l=0.608, F_（5,29） =3.736, P=0.010, h^2 =0.392）, and speed（l=0.535, F_（5,29） =5.302, P=0.002, h^2 =0.465）. General effects comprised high values of PWA and blood pressure for superficial, strong, and fast pulse images. A strong pulse was found for pulse pressure ≥ 62.5 mm Hg and systolic blood pressure ≥ 149.5 mm Hg, whereas a superficial pulse was found for heart rate ≥ 58.25 beats/min; a fast pulse was found for heart rate ≥ 69.6 beats/min and pulse wave velocity ≥ 9.185 m/s. CONCLUSION： Associations were explained by La Place＇s law, arterial remodeling in hypertension, alongside the traditional criterion for classifying speed in pulse images. PIA is associated with PWA and hemodynamics in patients with hypertension. Systolic and pulse pressures, heart rate, and pulse wave velocity are quantitative variables that have information to describe the qualitative pulse images such as strength, depth and speed.

Thirty-two primiparous and 31 multiparous Alpine goats were used to determine influences of diets varying in level and source of forage on performance in early to mid-lactation for 16 wk. Diets consisted of 40%, 50%, 60%, and 70% forage(designated as 40F, 50F, 60F, and 70F, respectively) with 60F and 70F containing coarsely ground grass hay(primarily orchardgrass) and 40F and 50F containing cottonseed hulls, alfalfa pellets, and coarsely ground wheat hay. Diets contained 15.9% to 16.3% crude protein and37.8%, 42.1%, 53.5%, and 55.4% neutral detergent fiber(NDF) with 10.0%, 15.8%, 50.1%, and 55.5% particle retention on a 19-mm sieve, and 26.1%, 29.6%, 38.3%, and 40.0% physically effective NDF(pe NDF) for 40F,50F, 60F, and 70F, respectively. Dry matter intake(2.71, 2.75, 1.96, and 1.95 kg/d) and milk yield(2.82,2.71, 2.23, and 2.10 kg/d for 40F, 50F, 60F, and 70F, respectively) were lower(P 0.05), but digestibility of NDF was greater(P 0.05) by diet and was lower(P 0.05) by diet or parity, but many interactions involving diet, period, hour, and parity were significant(P < 0.05). As part of efforts to reduce anthropogenic CO_(2) emissions by the steelmaking industry,this study investigated the direct reduction of industrially produced hematite pellets with H_(2) using the Doehlert experimental design to evaluate the effect of pellet diameter(10.5-16.5 mm),porosity(0.36-0.44),and temperature(600-1200℃).A strong interactive effect between temperature and pellet size was observed,indicating that these variables cannot be considered *** increase in temperature and decrease in pellet size considerably favor the reduction rate,while porosity did not show a relevant *** change in pellet size during the reduction was negligible,except at elevated temperatures due to crack formation.A considerable decrease in mechanical strength at high temperatures suggests a maximum process operating temperature of 900℃.Good predictive capacity was achieved using the modified grain model to simulate the three consecutive non-catalytic gas-solid reactions,considering different pellet sizes and porosities,changes during the reaction from 800 to 900℃.However,for other temperatures,different mechanisms of structural modifications must be considered in the *** results represent significant contributions to the development of ore pellets for CO_(2)-free steelmaking technology.

The investment levels in electricity production capacity from variable Renewable Energy Sources have substantially grown in Brazil over the last decades,following the worldwide-seeking-goal of a carbon-neutral economy and the country’s incentives in diversifying its generation *** a long-term perspective,the current non-storable capability of renewable energy sources requires an adequate uncertainty characterization over the *** this context,the main objective of this work is to provide a thorough descriptive analytics of the time-linked hourly-based daily dynamics of wind speed and solar irradiance in the main resourceful regions of *** on unsupervised Machine Learning methods,we focus on identifying similar days over the years,Representative Days,that can depict the fundamental underlying behaviour of each *** analysis is based on a historical dataset of different sites with the highest potential and installed capacity of each source spread over the country:three in the Northeast and one in the South Regions,for wind speed;and three in the Northeast and one in the Southeast Regions,for solar *** use two Partitioning Methods(𝐾-Means and𝐾-Medoids),the Hierarchical Ward’s Method,and a Model-Based Method(Self-Organizing Maps).We identified that wind speed and solar irradiance can be effectively represented,respectively,by only two representative days,and two or three days,depending on the region and method(segments data with respect to the intensity of each source).Analysis with higher Representative Days highlighted important hidden patterns such as different wind speed modulations and solar irradiance peak-hours along the days.
