BACKGROUND Various histological types of gastric carcinomas(GCs)differ in terms of their pathogenesis and their preexisting background,both of which could impact the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME).However,the current understanding of the immune contexture of GC is far from *** To clarify the tumor-host immune interplay through histopathological features and the tumor immune cycle *** In total,50 GC cases were examined(15 cases of diffuse GC,31 patients with intestinal-type GC and 4 cases of mucinous GC).The immunophenotype of GC was assessed and classified as immune desert(ID),immune excluded(IE)or inflamed(Inf)according to CD8+cell count and spatial *** addition,CD68+and CD163+macrophages and programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)expression were *** We found that GCs with different histological differentiation demonstrated distinct immune *** intestinal-type GCs had inflamed TIMEs rich in both CD8+cells and *** contrast,more aggressive diffuse-type GC more often possessed ID characteristics with few CD8+lymphocytes but abundant CD68+macrophages,while mucinous GC had an IE-TIME with a prevalence of CD68+macrophages and CD8+lymphocytes in the peritumor ***-L1 expression prevailed mostly in intestinal-type Inf-GC,with numerous CD163+cells ***,GCs of different histological patterns have specific mechanisms of immune *** intestinal-type GC was more often related to PD-L1 expression,diffuse and mucinous GCs possessing more aggressive behavior demonstrated low immunogenicity and a lack of tumor antigen recognition or immune cell recruitment into the tumor *** These data help to clarify the links between tumor histogenesis and immunogenicity for a better understanding of GC biology and more tailored patient management.

BACKGROUND Previous studies in the pre-biological era showed an association of wrist inflammation in juvenile idiopathic arthritis(JIA)with progressive disease course,polyarticular involvement and failure of methotrexate *** To describe features of JIA,associated with wrist *** Data from about 753 JIA patients were included in this retrospective cohort *** clinical and laboratory features of patients with and without wrist involvement were *** Wrist involvement was found in oligoarthritis(5.8%),RF(−)/RF(+)polyarthritis(44.9%/15.0%),enthesitis-related arthritis(17.7%),and systemic(58.6%)JIA *** wrist involvement was typical for oligoarthritis patients,bilateral involvement was either equal to that of unilateral involvement or was more frequent in other *** arthritis was found to be associated with female sex,a low incidence of uveitis,and more indications of systemic inflammation,including elevated levels of C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,and platelets,as well as involvement of the cervical spine,temporomandibular,shoulder,elbow,metacarpophalangeal,proximal interphalangeal,distal interphalangeal,hip,ankle,and tarsus *** number of patients with hip osteoarthritis and hip replacement was also *** arthritis was associated with a lower probability of achieving remission[hazard ratio(HR)=1.3(95%CI:1.0-1.7),P=0.055],and a higher probability of being treated with biologics[HR=1.7(95%CI:1.3-2.10,P=0.00009)].CONCLUSION Wrist arthritis in JIA patients is a marker of a severe disease course,characterized by more intensive inflammation,unfavorable outcomes,*** more intensive treatment with early administration of *** monitoring of wrist inflammation with ultrasound and MR assessment with early biological treatment might improve the outcomes.

Performance of Pr_(2)(Ni,Cu)O_(4+δ) electrodes in protonic ceramic electrochemical cells with unseparated and separated gas spaces

The Ln_(2)NiO_(4+δ)-based layered phases have attracted much attention as components for high-performance protonic ceramic fuel cells(PCFCs)and electrolysis cells(PCECs)enabling energy conversion with good efficiency and low *** present paper aims at rationally engineering the Cu-doped Pr_(2)NiO_(4+δ)materials and analysing their electrode behaviour for reversible protonic ceramic cells operating in both PCFC and PCEC *** oxides of Pr_(2)Ni_(1-x)CuxO_(4+δ)(x=0,0.1,0.2 and 0.3)were synthesised using the citrate-nitrate *** obtained materials were characterised considering their crystalline structures,as well as thermal,thermomechanical and electrotransport properties.A special interest was focused on the quality of an electrode/electrolyte interface governing the electrochemical performance of the cells *** is shown that a copper doping of x=0.2 has a positive impact on the thermomechanical compatibility of the Ba(Ce,Zr)O_(3)-based electrolytes,providing a better adhesion to these electrolytes at low-temperature sintering and resulting in a decrease of the polarisation resistance of the air electrodes.A reversible protonic ceramic cell demonstrates a power density of~340 m W cm^(-2) and a hydrogen output flux of~3.8 ml cm^(-2) min^(-1) at 750℃.The presented results propose modernised alkaline-earth-element-free and cobalt-free electrodes that can be successfully used in the electrochemical cells based on the-state-of-the-art proton-conducting electrolytes.

Fluorescence lifetime is not only associated with the molecular structure f fuorophores,but alsostrongly depends on the environment around them,which llows fuorescence lifetime imagingmicroscopy(FLIM)to be used as a tool for precise measurement of the cell or tisue microenvironment,This review introduces the basic principle of fuorescence lifetime imagingtechnology and its application in clinical medicine,including research and diagnosis of diseases inskin,brain,eyes,mouth,bone,blood vessels and cavity organs,and drug *** anoninvasive,nontoxic and nonionizing radiation technique,FLIM demonstrates excellent per-formance with high sensitivity and specificity,which allows to determine precise position of thelesion and,thus,has good potential for application in biomedical research and clinical diagnosis.

Stretchable on-skin touchless screen sensor enabled by ionic hydrogel

Screen sensors are the most commonly used human-machine interfaces in our everyday life,which have been extensively applied in personal electronics like *** screen sensors are attracting growing interest due to their distinct advantages of high interaction freedom,comfortability,and hand ***,the material compositions of current touchless screen sensors are rigid and fragile,hardly meeting the needs of wearable and stretchable on-skin electronics ***,these touchless screen sensors are also restricted by high power consumption,limited gesture types of recognition,and the requirement of light ***,we report a stretchable on-skin touchless screen sensor(OTSS)enabled by an ionic hydrogel-based triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG).Compared with current touchless screen sensors,the OTSS is stretchable,self-powered,and competent to recognize diverse gestures by making use of charges naturally carried on fingers without the need of sufficient light *** on-skin noncontact screen operating system is further demonstrated on the basis of the OTSS,which could unlock a cellphone interface in touchless operation mode on the human *** work for the first time introduces the on-skin touchless concept to screen sensors and offers a direction to develop new-generation screen sensors for future cellphones and personal electronics.

针对新型疏水型聚合物体系GPS-1进行了低渗透非均质油藏驱替实验,分析其液流转向性能。采用均质岩心、非均质饱和油岩心和非均质饱和水岩心进行了3组共9个驱替实验,结果表明:与原始聚合物溶液相比,GPS-1溶液在注入性和抑水能力方面均有显著提高,注入压力梯度约降低一半,隔水屏障破坏时水相压力梯度及残余阻力系数均大幅增加;GPS-1溶液能够形成高强度隔水屏障,提高非均质油层的水驱油效率;GPS-1结合氯化钙溶液段塞式注入能强化隔水性能,显著提高驱油效率;GPS-1具有强选择性封堵能力,不仅能在饱和水层位中形成隔水屏障,有效封堵高渗层位,还能使大量注入水流入水驱目的层位,改善注水开发效果。

A novel microporous two-dimensional(2D)Ni-based phosphonate metal-organic framework(MOF;denoted as IEF-13)has been successfully synthesized by a simple and green hydrothermal method and fully characterized using a combination of experimental and computational *** resolution by single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that IEF-13 crystallizes in the triclinic space group Pi having bi-octahedra nickel nodes and a photo/electroactive tritopic phosphonate ***,this material exhibits coordinatively unsaturated nickel(II)sites,free-P0_(3)H_(2)and-P0_(3)H acidic groups,a C0_(2)accessible microporosity,and an exceptional thermal and chemical ***,its in-deep optoelectronic characterization evidences a photoresponse suitable for *** this sense,the photocatalytic activity for challenging H_(2)generation and overall water splitting in absence of any co-catalyst using UV-Vis irradiation and simulated sunlight has been evaluated,constituting the first report for a phosphonate-MOF ***-13 is able to produce up to 2,200 fimol of H_(2)per gram using methanol as sacrificial agent,exhibiting stability,maintaining its crystal structure and allowing its *** more,170μmol of H_(2)per gram were produced using IEF-13 as photocatalyst in the absence of any co-catalyst for the overall water splitting,being this reaction limited by the 0_(2)*** present work opens new avenues for further optimization of the photocatalytic activity in this type of multifunctional materials.

Neonatal stroke is similar to the stroke that occurs in adults and produces a significant morbidity and long-term neurologic and cognitive *** are important differences in the factors,clinical events and outcomes associated with the stroke in infants and ***,mechanisms underlying age differences in the stroke development remain largely ***,treatment guidelines for neonatal stroke must extrapolate from the adult data that is often not suitable for *** new information about differences between neonatal and adult stroke is essential for identification of significant areas for future treatment and effective prevention of neonatal ***,we studied the development of stress-induced hemorrhagic stroke and possible mechanisms underlying these processes in newborn and adult *** histological methods and magnetic resonance imaging,we found age differences in the type of intracranial *** rats demonstrated small superficial bleedings in the cortex while adult rats had more severe deep bleedings in the *** Doppler optical coherent tomography,we found higher stress-reactivity of the sagittal sinus to deleterious effects of stress in newborn *** rats suggesting that the cerebral veins are more vulnerable to negative stress factors in neonatal *** brain in ***,adult but not newborn rats demonstrated the stroke-induced breakdown of blood brain barrier(BBB)*** one of possible mechanisms underlying the higher resistance to stress-related stroke injures of cerebral vessels in newborn rats compared with adult animals is the greater expression of two main tight junction proteins of BBB(occludin and claudin-5)in neonatal *** brain in rats.
