Psychological consequences of a diagnosis of infertility in men:a systematic analysis

Almost half of infertility cases involve male *** the consequence of a diagnosis of male infertility,as a sole or partial contributor to the couples'infertility,to the mental health of men is required to ensure clinical care meets their psychological *** aim of this systematic analysis was to synthesize the evidence regarding whether men diagnosed with male factor infertility experience greater psychological distress than(1)men described as fertile and(2)men in couples with other infertility *** databases were searched using a combination of Medical Subject Headings(MeSH)headings and keywords relating to male infertility and psychological *** search yielded 1016 unique publications,of which 23 were included:8 case-control,14 prospective cohort,and 1 data linkage *** aspects of psychological distress were identified depression,anxiety,self-esteem,quality of life,fertility-related stress,general psychological stress or well-being,and psychiatric ***-control studies reported that men with male factor infertility have more symptoms of depression,anxiety and general psychological distress,worse quality of some aspects of life,and lower self-esteem than *** men with male factor infertility were compared to men in couples with other causes of infertility,there were few differences in the assessed aspects of psychological *** methodological limitations within the studies,this systematic analysis suggests that the experience of infertility,irrespective of its cause,negatively affects men's mental health and demonstrates the need for assisted reproduction technology(art)providers to consider men undergoing assisted reproduction as individuals with their own unique support needs.

Let u be a sequence of positive integers which grows essentially as a geometric progression. We give a criterion on u in terms of its distribution modulo d, d = 1, 2,..., under which the set of positive integers expressible by the sum of a prime number and an element of u has a positive lower density. This criterion is then checked for some second order linear recurrence sequences. It follows, for instance, that the set of positive integers of the form p ＋ [（2 ＋ √3）n], where p is a prime number and n is a positive integer, has a positive lower density. This generalizes a recent result of Enoch Lee. In passing, we show that the periods of linear recurrence sequences of order m modulo a prime number p cannot be ＂too small＂ for most prime numbers p.

Hyperspectral(HS)image classification plays a crucial role in numerous areas including remote sensing(RS),agriculture,and the monitoring of the *** band selection in HS images is crucial for improving the efficiency and accuracy of image *** process involves selecting the most informative spectral bands,which leads to a reduction in data *** on these key bands also enhances the accuracy of classification algorithms,as redundant or irrelevant bands,which can introduce noise and lower model performance,are *** this paper,we propose an approach for HS image classification using deep Q learning(DQL)and a novel multi-objective binary grey wolf optimizer(MOBGWO).We investigate the MOBGWO for optimal band selection to further enhance the accuracy of HS image *** the suggested MOBGWO,a new sigmoid function is introduced as a transfer function to modify the wolves’*** primary objective of this classification is to reduce the number of bands while maximizing classification *** evaluate the effectiveness of our approach,we conducted experiments on publicly available HS image datasets,including Pavia University,Washington Mall,and Indian Pines *** compared the performance of our proposed method with several state-of-the-art deep learning(DL)and machine learning(ML)algorithms,including long short-term memory(LSTM),deep neural network(Dnn),recurrent neural network(Rnn),support vector machine(SVM),and random forest(RF).Our experimental results demonstrate that the Hybrid MOBGWO-DQL significantly improves classification accuracy compared to traditional optimization and DL ***-DQL shows greater accuracy in classifying most categories in both datasets *** the Indian Pine dataset,the MOBGWO-DQL architecture achieved a kappa coefficient(KC)of 97.68%and an overall accuracy(OA)of 94.32%.This was accompanied by the lowest root mean square error(RMSE)of 0.94,indicating very precise

In the last few decades, addressing the global challenge of implementation of strategies for renewable energy and energy efficiency has become ***, since 2009, has made a steadfast commitment to sustainability, with a particular focus on advancing the development of renewable energy resources. A comprehensive strategy has been formulated, centering on utilizing the country's energy potential to drive progress in this vital sector. Morocco is considered a country with abundant thermal water, indicating deep reservoirs with significant hydrothermal potential. Geothermal zones were selected based on the abundance of hot springs where water temperatures were high and geothermal gradients were significant. The abundance and importance of hot springs, combined with recent volcanism and ongoing non-tectonic activity linked to alpine orogeny, strongly suggest that these regions are promising reservoirs for geothermal energy. This great potential also extends to neighboring countries. In northeast and south Morocco, the temperature of thermal water ranges from 26 to 54℃. This study serves as an inclusive review of the geothermal potentialities in Morocco.

This paper presents an approach to improve medical image retrieval， particularly for brain tumors， by addressing the gap between low-level visual and high-level perceived contents in MRI， X-ray， and CT scans. Traditional methods based on color， shape， or texture are less effective. The proposed solution uses machine learning to handle high-dimensional image features， reducing computational complexity and mitigating issues caused by artifacts or noise. It employs a genetic algorithm for feature reduction and a hybrid residual Unet (HResUnet) model for region-of-interest (ROI) segmentation and classification， with enhanced image preprocessing. The study examines various loss functions， finding that a hybrid loss function yields superior results， and the GA-HResUnet model outperforms the HResUnet. Comparative analysis with state-of-the-art models shows a 4% improvement in retrieval accuracy.

The high performance of IoT technology in transportation networks has led to the increasing adoption of Internet of Vehicles(IoV)*** functional advantages of IoV include online communication services,accident prevention,cost reduction,and enhanced traffic *** these benefits,IoV technology is susceptible to cyber-attacks,which can exploit vulnerabilities in the vehicle network,leading to perturbations,disturbances,non-recognition of traffic signs,accidents,and vehicle *** paper reviews the state-of-the-art achievements and developments in applying Deep Transfer Learning(DTL)models for Intrusion Detection Systems in the Internet of Vehicles(IDS-IoV)based on anomaly ***-IoV leverages anomaly detection through machine learning and DTL techniques to mitigate the risks posed by *** systems can autonomously create specific models based on network data to differentiate between regular traffic and *** these techniques,transfer learning models are particularly promising due to their efficacy with tagged data,reduced training time,lower memory usage,and decreased computational *** evaluate DTL models against criteria including the ability to transfer knowledge,detection rate,accurate analysis of complex data,and *** review highlights the significant progress made in the field,showcasing how DTL models enhance the performance and reliability of IDS-IoV *** examining recent advancements,we provide insights into how DTL can effectively address cyber-attack challenges in IoV environments,ensuring safer and more efficient transportation networks.

Measurement of both oxygen saturation and blood flow in the retinal vessels has proved to give important information about the eye health and the onset of eye pathologies such as diabetic *** this study,we present the implementation,on a commercially available fundus camera,of a retinal imager and a retina blood flow *** retinal imager uses division of aperture to acquire nine wavelength-dependent sub-images of the *** consideration is taken to improve image transfer by measuring the optical properties of the fundus camera and modeling the optical train in *** part of the setup is calibrated with optical phantoms of known optical properties that are also used to build a lookup table(LUT)linking phantom optical properties to measured *** retina blood flow velocimeter relies on tracking clusters of erythrocytes and uses a fast acquisition camera attached to a zoom lens,with a green illumination *** is provided using a calibrated quartz capillary tube and human blood at a known flow *** properties of liquid phantoms are retrieved from measured reflectance using the LUT,and blood flow measurements in the retina are presented.
