Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is among most common terminal cancer types in the world. Primary etiological factors include cirrhosis, hepatitis, aflatoxin and alcohol. The current study was conducted to determine cytosolic erythrocyte carbonic anhydrase and catalase enzyme activities and levels of some trace elements. For this purpose, 40 patients with primary and metastatic hepatic cancer and 29 healthy volunteers enrolled to the study. Catalase and carbonic anhydrase enzyme activities and serum trace element levels were measured in patient and control groups. In the current study, serum copper, magnesium, manganese and zinc levels were lower in the primary and metastatic hepatic cancer group in comparison with the control group (P < 0.05). In contrast, serum iron, cobalt, cadmium and lead levels were higher in the patient relative to the control group (P < 0.05). In comparison with the control group, the catalase level was lower in primary and metastatic cancer group, while the carbonic anhydrase level was higher in the cancer group (P < 0.05). Changes in levels of trace elements and anti-oxidant enzymes may be the factors which influence the development and progression of liver cancer. The carbonic anhydrase enzyme can be a useful indicator in the diagnosis of cancer. However, this issue warrants further investigation.

Effects of Inoculum Density on Plant Growth and Hydrocarbon Degradation

The combined use of plants and bacteria is a promising approach for the remediation of soil contaminated with organic pollutants. Different biotic and abiotie factors can affect the survival and activity of the applied bacteria and consequently plant growth and phy- toremediation efficiency. The effect of inoculum density on the abundance and expression of alkune-degrading genes in the rhizosphere of plant vegetated in hydrocarbon-contaminated soil has been rarely observed. In this study, an alkane-degrading bacterium （Pantoea sp. strain BTRH79）, at different inoculum densities （10^5 to 10^8 cells cm^-3 soil）, was inoculated to ryegrass （Lolium perenne） vegetated in diesel-contaminated soil to find the optimum inoculum density needed for its efficient colonization and hydrocarbon degradation activity. Bacterial inoculation improved plant growth and hydrocarbon degradation. Maximum plant growth and hydrocarbon degra- dation were observed with the inoculum having the highest cell density （10^8 cells cm^-3 soil）. Moreover, the inoculum with higher cell density exhibited more abundance and expression of alkane hydroxylase gene, CYP153. This study suggests that the inoculum density is one of the main factors that can affect bacterial colonization and activity during phytoremediation.

AIM:To assess the validity of the Milan and University of California San Francisco(UCSF) criteria and examine the long-term outcome of orthotopic liver transplantation(OLT) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in a single-center ***:This study is a retrospective review of prospectively collected *** 1998 and 2009,56 of 356 OLTs were performed in patients with *** on pathological examination of liver explants,patients were retrospectively categorized into 3 groups:Milan +(n = 34),Milan-/UCSF +(n = 7) and UCSF-(n = 14).RESULTS:Median follow-up period was 39.5(1-124) *** 5-year overall survival rates in the Milan +,Milan-/UCSF + and UCSF-groups were 87.7%,53.6% and 33.3%,respectively(P < 0.000).Within these groups,tumor recurrence was determined in 5.8%,14.3% and 40% of patients,respectively(P < 0.011).Additionally,the presence of microvascular invasion within the explanted liver had a negative effect on the 5-year disease free survival(74.7% vs 46.7%,P < 0.044).CONCLUSION:The Milan criteria are reliable in the selection of suitable candidates for OLT for the treatment of *** cases of OLT involving living donors,the UCSF criteria may be applied.

AIM： To identify the frequency of bacterial growth, the most commonly grown bacteria and their antibiotic susceptibility, and risk factors for bacterial colonization in bile collected from patients with different biliary dis- eases. METHODS： This prospective study was conducted be- tween April 2010 and August 2011. Patients with vari- ous biliary disorders were included. Bile was aspirated by placing a single-use, 5F, standard sphincterotome catheter into the bile duct before the injection of con- trast agent during endoscopic retrograde cholangio- pancreaticography （ERCP）. Bile specimens were trans- ported to the microbiology laboratory in blood culture bottles within an anaerobic transport system. Bacteria were cultured and identified according to the standard protocol used in our clinical microbiology laboratory. The susceptibilities of the organisms recovered were identified using antimicrobial disks, chosen according tothe initial gram stain of the positive cultures RESULTS： Ninety-one patients （27% male, mean age 53.7 4- 17.5 years, range： 17-86 years） were included in the study. The main indication for ERCP was benign biliary disease in 79 patients and malignant disease in 12 patients. The bile culture was positive for bacterial growth in 46 out of 91 （50.5%） patients. The most frequently encountered organisms were Gram-negative bacteria including Escherich/a coli （28.2%）, Pseudo- monas （17.3%） and Stenotrophomonas rnaltophilia （15.2%）. There were no significant differences between patients with malignant and benign disease （58% vs 49%, P = 0.474）, patients with acute cholangitis and without acute cholangitis （52.9% vs 50%, P = 0.827）, patients who were empirically administered antibiotics before intervention and not administered （51.4% vs 60.7%, P = 0.384）, with regard to the bacteriobilia. We observed a large covering spectrum or low resistance to meropenem, amikacin and imipenem. CONCLUSION： We did not find a significant risk fac- tor for bacteriobilia in

Education is a mental effort that an individual performs alone or in a group for the purpose of perceiving the surrounding, understanding, and putting a meaning on it. In this sense, it would be a reasonable idea that an individual should benefit from art education in order to have a complete education, since art is not just creating an aesthetic object or being aware of staying against an aesthetic object. Art means that it occurs in every stage, in every action, in all attitudes and behaviors of human being realized in an aesthetic concern without thinking When the individuals having an art education in primary and secondary education start their education in a higher education program in a faculty or department other than art education, art education loses its continuity. However art education should be continuous and it is of importance in terms of its contribution to this continuity since the studies of art education for the adults out of formal education would support it. The purpose of the current study was to determine the needs of adults and also the support that would be obtained from any kind of educational activities for art education, and to propose some recommendations in this sense

The virial theorem is written by using the canonical equations of motion in classical mechanics. A moving particle with an initial speed in an n-particle system is considered. The distance of the moving particle from the origin of the system to the final position is derived as a function of the kinetic energy of the particle. It is thought that the considered particle would not collide with other particles in the system. The relation between the final and initial distance of the particle from the origin of the system is given by a single equation.

The scattering of electron by a photon is a well-known reaction in physics. In this study, the change in the electron’s energy after the scattering is taken into account. The previous works are searched. In order to take into account this change in the electron’s energy in the equation of motion of the electron, the Dirac equation is used with the virial theorem. The scattered electron kinetic energy which is given to the electron by the loss in photon’s energy is related to the potential energy of the electron by the virial theorem which states that the potential energy is two times of the kinetic energy in minus sign. A first time application of the virial theorem on a scattered electron by a photon is included to the Dirac equation.

The aim of this study is to combine four fundamental forces in a single equation. Dirac equation is written by putting the Yukawa potential as a representation of the strong and gravitational forces. The ordinary terms seen in the Dirac Equation are treated as the representations of the electromagnetic forces. The Lagrangian of the weak local interaction of the charged particles is converted to the energy representation according to the virial theorem and is put in the equation. Thus four fundamental forces are combined in a unique equation.

常见稻麦秸秆在实际作业过程中与刀具作用发生2种变形：挤压秸秆发生弯曲变形和剪切秸秆发生剪切变形,根据2种变形设置弯曲试验和剪切试验,分别测试15～30 mm/min加载速率下弯曲强度和剪切强度。试验结果表明,小麦秸秆抗弯强度随着加载速率增加而减小;水稻秸秆抗弯强度随着转速增加,表现为先增加后减小。小麦秸秆剪切强度随着加载速率增加,表现为先增加后减小;水稻秸秆剪切强度随着加载速率增加而增加。其次在田间试验中,根据2种变形设置横纵向秸秆以及180～280 r/min的刀轴转速,并对其反旋作业。采用同位素示踪法,即根据标记秸秆前后坐标变化值来代替机具在幅宽范围内纵横向秸秆的位移变化,将得到的标记点坐标在三维坐标系中用Matlab绘制成曲线,该曲线形状与旋耕刀片在刀轴上排列相似。耕作后位移和坐标结果表明：水稻秸秆位移大于小麦秸秆位移,水稻秸秆标记点位移变化较小麦秸秆标记点位移变化均匀;2种秸秆排列方式对应2种分布情况：纵向标记秸秆坐标在X轴上以零点对称分布,横向标记秸秆坐标在X、Z轴上两侧对称分布。基于以上因素考虑,实际作业中,选择刀轴转速230 r/min以及改变秸秆在田间排列方式,以使秸秆还田效果达到更佳。
