The EWMAcharts are thewell-knownmemory-type charts used formonitoring the small-to-intermediate shifts in the process parameters(location and/or dispersion).The hybrid EWMA(HEWMA)charts are enhanced version of the EWMA charts,which effectivelymonitor the process *** paper aims to develop two new uppersided HEWMAcharts for monitoring shifts in process variance,i.e.,HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 *** design structures of the proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 charts are based on the concept of integrating the features of two ***1 and HEWMA2charts plotting statistics are developed using one EWMAstatistic as input for the other *** Carlo simulations method is used as a computational technique to determine the numerical results for the performance characteristics,such as average run length(ARL),median run length,and standard deviation run length(SDRL)for assessing the performance of the proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 *** addition,to evaluate the overall performance of the proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 charts,other numerical measures consisting of the extra quadratic loss(EQL),relative average run length(RARL),and performance comparison index(PCI)are also *** proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 charts are compared to some existing charts,such as CH,CEWMA,HEWMA,AEWMAHHW1,HHW2,AIB-EWMA-I,and AIB-EWMA-II charts,on the basis aforementioned numerical *** comparison reveals that the proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 charts achieve better detection ability against the existing *** the end,a real-life data application is also provided to enhance the implementation of the proposed HEWMA1 and HEWMA2 charts practically.

How much helpful is the capsule endoscopy for the diagnosis of small bowel lesions?

AIM： To assess the practically usefulness and diagnostic yield of this new method in a group of patients with suspected small bowel lesions. METHODS： Capsule endoscopic （CE） examination by using M2A capsule endoscope TM （Given Imaging, Yoqneam, Israel） was performed in thirty nine patients （26 males, 13 females） with suspected small intestinal lesions. The composing of the patients was as follows： obscure gastrointestinal bleeding in twenty three patients, known Crohn＇s disease in 6 patients, in whom CE was used to evaluate the severity and extension of the diseases, chronic diarrhea in 8 patients, abdominal pain in one patient and malignancy in one patient with unknown origin. RESULTS： In two patients CE failed. Different abnormalities were revealed in 26 patients overall. Detection rate of abnormalities was highest among patients with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding and the source of bleeding was demonstrated in 17 of 23 patients with obscure bleeding （73.9%）. Entero-Behcet was diagnosed in two patients by CE as a source of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. In 6 patients with known Crohn＇s disease, CE revealed better evaluation of the disease extension. In 3 of 8 （37.5%） patients with chronic diarrhea; CE revealed some mucosal abnormalities as the cause of chronic diarrhea. In a patient with unexplained abdominal pain and in a cancer patient with unknown origin, CE examination was normal. CONCLUSION： In our relatively small series, we found that capsule endoscopy is a useful diagnostic tool particularly in diagnosis of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, chronic diarrhea and in estimating the extension of Crohn＇s disease.

Joint Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) & Walsh-Hadamard Transform: Enhancing the Receiver Performance

Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a new access method to achieve high performance gains in terms of capacity and throughput, so it is currently under consideration as one of the candidates for fifth generation(5 G) technologies. NOMA utilizes power domain in order to superimpose signals of multiple users in a single transmitted signal. This creates a lot of interference at the receive side. Although the use of successive interference cancellation(SIC) technique reduces the interference, but to further improve the receiver performance, in this paper, we have proposed a joint Walsh-Hadamard transform(WHT) and NOMA approach for achieving better performance gains than the conventional NOMA. WHT is a well-known code used in communication systems and is used as an orthogonal variable spreading factor(OVSF) in communication systems. Application of WHT to NOMA results in low bit error rate(BER) and high throughput performance for both low and high channel gain users. Further, it also reduces peak to average power ratio(PAPR) of the user signal. The results are discussed in terms of comparison between the conventionalNOMA and the proposed technique, which shows that it offers high performance gains in terms of low BER at different SNR levels, reduced PAPR, high user throughput performance and better spectral efficiency.

Electronic interactions of the Group 2A elements with magnesium have been studied through the dilute solid solutions in binary Mg-Ca,Mg-Sr and Mg-Ba *** investigation incorporated the difference in the‘Work Function'(ΔWF)measured via Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy(KPFM),as a property directly affected by interatomic bond types,*** electronic structure,nanoindentation measurements,and Stacking Fault Energy values reported in the *** was shown that the nano-hardness of the solid-solutionα-Mg phase changed in the order of Mg-Ca>Mg-Sr>***,it was shown,by also considering the nano-hardness levels,that SFE of a solid-solution is closely correlated with its‘Work Function'***-hardness measurements on the eutectics andΔWF difference between eutectic phases enabled an assessment of the relative bond strength and the pertinent electronic structures of the eutectics in the three *** withΔWF and at least qualitative verification of those computed SFE values with some experimental measurement techniques were considered important as those computational methods are based on zero Kelvin degree,relatively simple atomic models and a number of *** asserted by this investigation,if the results of measurement techniques can be qualitatively correlated with those of the computational methods,it can be possible to evaluate the electronic structures in alloys,starting from binary systems,going to ternary and then multi-elemental *** investigation has shown that such a qualitative correlation is *** all,the SFE values are not treated as absolute values but rather become essential in comparative investigations when assessing the influences of alloying elements at a fundamental level,that is,free electron density *** study indicated that the principles of‘electronic metallurgy'in developing multi-elemental alloy systems can be followed via practical experimental methods,i.e.ΔWF measurements using KPF

情感分析是对文本中表达的评论、情绪和情感进行的计算研究。近几年来,情感分析引起了业界和学术界的广泛关注。在世界各地,社交媒体已为人们提供了以母语共享个人观点的趋势。对于这些评论的情感分析,机器学习算法是研究者的主要选择。在提出了复杂的机器学习算法和硬件升级版本来运行实验之后,研究界开始转向利用深度学习完成情感分析任务。过去五年的背景研究证实,深度神经网络(CNN、RNN和扩展版LSTM)取得了显著的成绩。这些神经网络大多是单向的,需要大量的时间、内存和硬件资源。另外,目前的方法主要集中在对英语句子的分析上。对于一些少数民族语言来说,这仍然是一个挑战,比如罗马乌尔都语,它有一个更复杂的句子结构和众多的单字词汇变化。在本研究中,对于罗马乌尔都语的情感分析,我们提出了新颖的自注意力双向LSTM网络(Self-Attention Bidirectional LSTM,简称SA-BiLSTM)来处理句子结构和不一致的文本表达方式。在SA-BiLSTM中,自我注意用于关联整个句子、控制复杂的结构,BiLSTM用于提取上下文表示,以解决前后的词汇变化。本文网络还突破了传统网络单向性的局限性。此外,为了衡量其他模型在罗马乌尔都语分析中的性能,并与SA-BiLSTM进行比较,我们对罗马乌尔都语句子进行了预处理和规范化。我们在罗马乌尔都语的两个数据集中训练并评估了所有模型。SA-BiLSTM的有效设计使用较少的计算资源,并且在预处理和规范化后的数据集上的准确度分别为68.4%和69%。实验结果表明,与其他最新的深度语言网络模型相比,SA-BiLSTM具有更好的准确性。结果分析和比较证实,数据集的规范化使模型达到了更高的精度。此外,BERT最近在一个多语言数据集上取得了最好的成绩。BERT的结构中包含转换器的双向特性(自注意力层),与SA-BiLSTM中的思路一致。BERT在经过预处理和规范化的数据测试集上获得的结果要高于其在翻译成乌尔都语的XNLI数据集上的结果。

Effect of purification,dehydration,and coagulation processes on the optical parameters of biological tissues

In this study,the effects of purification,dehydration,and coagulation processes on the absorption and reduced scattering coefficients of chicken liver tissues have been investigated by using a single integrating sphere *** purification process performed on the tissue samples to remove blood residue has been found to cause a slight change in the optical *** the dehydration process brings about an increase in the absorption coefficient due to the water loss,no direct relationship has been observed between the reduced scattering coefficient and the dehydration level of the *** addition,it has been observed that there was a relatively small increase in the absorption coefficient and a significant increase in the reduced scattering coefficient after the coagulation ***,it can be said that the optical penetration depth decreased significantly after dehydration and coagulation processes unlike blood ***,fluence rate distributions inside the fresh,blood purified,dehydrated,and coagulated tissue models have been investigated by using the Monte Carlo modeling of photon transport in multilayered tissues simulation code.

Investigation of performance and emission characteristics of waste cooking oil as biodiesel in a diesel engine

Biodiesel is one of the most popular prospective alternative fuels and can be obtained from a variety of sources. Waste frying oil is one such source along with the various raw vegetable oils. However, some specific technical treatments are required to improve certain fuel properties such as viscosity and calorific value of the biodiesel being obtained from waste cooking oil methyl ester （WCOME）. Various treatments are applied depending on the source and therefore the composition of the cooking oil. This research investigated the performance of WCOME as an alternative biofuel in a four-stroke direct injection diesel engine. An 8-mode test was undertaken with diesel fuel and five WCOME blends. The best compromise blend in terms of performance and emissions was identified. Results showed that energy utilization factors of the blends were similar within the range of the operational parameters （speed, load and WCOME content）. Increasing biodiesel content produced slightly more smoke and NOx for a great majority of test points, while the CO and THC emissions were lower.

Petrogenesis of the late Cretaceous Turnagol intrusion in the eastern Pontides:Implications for magma genesis in the arc setting

A series of Cretaceous plutons is present in the eastern Pontides of northeastern Turkey. The Turnag61 intrusion is the least studied and, thus, the least understood plutons in the orogen. This intrusion consists of hornblende-biotite granodiorites emplaced at 78 Ma based on LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating. It is of sub- alkaline affinity, belongs to the medium- to high-K calc-alkaline series, and displays features typical of I- type granites. The rocks of the intrusion are enriched in large-ion lithophile elements and light rare earth- elements with negative Eu anomalies （EuJEu＊ = 0.69-0.82）, but are deficient in high-field-strength elements. They have a small range of （87Sr/S6Sr）i （0.7060 0.7063）, ENd （-2.6 to 3.1）, and 6180 （＋8.1 to ＋9.1） values. Their Pb isotopic ratios are 206pb/204pb = 18.63-18.65, ＇207Tpb/204pb = 15.62-15.63, and 208pb/204pb 38.53-38.55. The fractionation of plagioclase, hornblende, and Fe-Ti oxides had key functions in the evolution of the Turnag61 intrusion. The crystallization temperatures of the melts ranged from 758 to 885 ℃ as determined by zircon and apatite saturation thermometry. All these characteristics, combined with the low values of K20/Na20 and （Na20 ＋ K20）/（FeOt ＋ MgO ＋ TiO2）, as well as the high values of （CaO ＋ FeOt ＋ MgO ＋ TiO2）, suggest an origin by dehydration melting from a metabasaltic lower crustal source.
