The voltageﬂuctuation in electric circuits has been identiﬁed as key issue in different electric *** the usage of electricity growing in rapid way,there exist higherﬂuctuations in powerﬂ*** maintain theﬂow or stabi-lity of power in any electric circuit,there are many circuit models are discussed in ***,they suffer to maintain the output voltage and not capable of maintaining power *** improve the performance in power stabilization,an efﬁcient IC pattern based power factor maximization model(ICPFMM)in this *** model is focused on improving the power stability with the use of IC(Inductor and Conductor)towards identifying most efﬁcient circuit for the current duty cycle according to the input voltage,voltage in capacitor and output voltage *** model with boost converter diverts the incoming voltage through number of conductors and *** triggering speciﬁc inductor,a speciﬁc capacitor gets charged and a particular circuit gets *** model maintains num-ber of IC(Inductor and Conductor)patterns through which the powerﬂow *** to that,the pattern available,the mofset controls the level of power to be regulated through any *** the pattern,the model computes the Cir-cuits Switching Loss and Circuits Conduction Loss for various ***-ing to the input voltage,the model estimates Circuit Power Stabilization Support(CPSS)according to the voltage available in any capacitor and input *** the value of CPSS,the model trigger optimal number of circuits to maintain voltage *** this approach,more than one circuit has been triggered to maintain output voltage and to get *** proposed model not only main-tains power stability but also reduces the wastage in voltage which is not *** proposed model improves the performance in voltage stability with less switching loss.

The widespread availability of portable computing power and inexpensive digital cameras are opening up new possibilities for retailers in some markets. One example is in optical shops,where a number of systems exist that facilitate eyeglassess election. These systems are now more necessary as the market is saturated with an increasingly complex array of lenses,frames,coatings,tints,photochromic and polarizing treatments,etc. Research challenges encompass Computer Vision,Multimedia andHuman-Computer Interaction. Cost factors are also of importance for widespread product acceptance. This paper describes alow-cost system that allows the user to visualize different glasses models in live video. The user can also move the glasses toadjust its position on the face. The system,which runs at 9.5 frames/s on general-purpose hardware,has a homeostatic modulethat keeps image parameters controlled. This is achieved by using a camera with motorized zoom,iris,white balance,etc. Thisfeature can be specially useful in environments with changing illumination and shadows,like in an optical shop. The system alsoincludes a face and eye detection module and a glasses management module.

This paper deals with a numerical study of weak shock-waves propagation and their attenuation in channel flow having different heights and exhibiting a hollow circular cavities with different depths and diffraction angles *** effect of initial diffraction angle and cavity depth on the shock mitigation is investigated.A better shock attenuation is achieved with diffraction angle by a factor of approximately 17%in terms of shock-Mach number and 38%in terms of total *** obtained results show also,in addition to the initial diffraction angle and cavity depth,the importance of reducing the channel heights as well as the position of the reduced section in achieving an optimal shock-wave *** presence of a cavity inside the channel helps to attenuate faster the shock *** underlying physics relies on the shock diffraction phenomenon that generates large amount of vortical structures capable of dissipating part of the shock energy by inducing a pressure loss behind it.A subtle arrangement of channel position/height and a cavity location leads to an efficient pressure attenuation by approximately a factor of 57%forMs=1.6 and 16%for Ms=1.1..

The unsteady laminar magnetohydrodynamics （MHD） boundary layer flow and heat transfer of nanofluids over an accelerating convectively heated stretching sheet are numerically studied in the presence of a transverse magnetic field with heat source/sink The unsteady governing equations are solved by a shooting method with the Runge-Kutta- Fehlberg scheme. Three different types of water based nanofluids, containing copper, aluminium oxide, and titanium dioxide, are taken into consideration. The effects of the pertinent parameters on the fluid velocity, the temperature, the entropy generation num- ber, the Bejan number, the shear stress, and the heat transfer rate at the sheet surface are graphically and quantitatively discussed in detail. A comparison of the entropy generation due to the heat transfer and the fluid friction is made with the help of the Bejan number. It is observed that the presence of the metallic nanoparticles creates more entropy in the nanofluid flow than in the regular fluid flow.

Cultivation of bay leaves （Cinnamomum tamalanees ＆ Eberm） to fulfil household income needs is a long established practice in Udayapur district of nepal. The practices adopted by farmers for bay leaf harvesting have not, however, been validated by scientific investigation for their sustainability. To investigate the impacts of harvesting on the yield of branch, leaves and biomass of leaves, a two-year research project was conducted in farm fields at Kopche village of Routa VDC in Udayapur district, nepal. Four different harvesting treatments, the orien-tation and the order of branches were taken as independent variables to test their effects on number of branches, leaves and biomass of leaves. Orientation, harvesting treatments and order of branches had a significant effect on the number of branches, but not on the number of leaves or biomass （fresh and dry weight） of leaves in the year of harvest. Between two consecutive harvests there was no significant difference in the num-ber of branches, leaves or biomass. Lower two-thirds portion of the trees produced the largest number of leaves and branches of the fourth order in both years. Therefore, lower two-thirds portion of the trees were suitable for harvesting. Our findings support farmer experience that no change in productivity of leaves is observed when harvesting each year. For long term sustainability, harvesting should be conducted without debarking of trees or damage to branches. Our findings could be extrapolated to and tested in other areas with different access and user rights where the rota-tion for harvest is fixed or regulated without research evidence.

nowadays seakeeping is mostly analyzed by means of model testing or numerical *** require a significant amount of time and the exact hull geometry,and therefore seakeeping is not taken into account at the early stages of ship *** the main objective of this work is the development of a seakeeping prediction tool to be used in the early stages of ship *** tool must be fast,accurate,and not require the exact hull *** this end,an artificial intel-ligence(AI)algorithm has been *** algorithm is based on Artificial neural networks(Anns)and only requires a number of ship coefficients of *** methodology developed to obtain the predictive algorithm is presented as well as the database of ships used for training the *** data were generated using a frequency domain seakeeping code based on the boundary element method(BEM).Also,the AI predictions are compared to the BEM results using both,ship hulls included and not included in the *** a result of this work it has been obtained an AI tool for seakeeping prediction of conventional monohull vessels.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic cytokine which plays an important role in a num-ber of cellular processes including proliferation, survival, differentiation, migration and inva-sion. IL-6 mediates its downstream effects by activating a number of signaling cascades including JAK/STAT, PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathways. In addition to its effects on tumor cells, IL-6 also regulates tumor progression and tumor metastasis by modulating tumor angiogenesis and tumor lymphangiogenesis. A number of studies have shown that IL-6 levels are markedly upregulated in cancer patients. We and others have shown that high IL-6 expression indepen-dently predicts tumor recurrence, tumor metastasis and poor survival in head and neck cancer patients. Therefore targeting IL-6 signaling is a potential therapeutic strategy for the treat-ment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HnSCC). In this review, we discuss the cur-rent understanding of the role of IL-6 in HnSCC progression and potential therapeutic strategies to target IL-6 signaling for the treatment of head and neck cancer patients. This work evaluated the functional properties of sesame protein fractions in order to determine their potential in food *** seed protein fractions were prepared according to their solubility:water-soluble(albumin),salt-soluble(globulin),alkaline-soluble(glutelin)and ethanol-soluble(prolamin).Globulin was the most abundant fraction,consisting of 91%protein,followed by glutelin,albumin and prolamin in decreasing ***-reducing sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE)showed polypeptides of sizes≥20 kDa for albumin while glutelin and globulin had similar polypeptide sizes at 19,85 and 100 *** had polypeptide sizes 20,40 and 100 *** albumin and globulin fractions had higher intrinsic fluorescence intensity(FI)values than the *** had a higher solubility(ranging from 80 to 100%)over a wide pH range when compared with the other *** holding capacity(g/g)reduced from 2.76(glutelin)to 1.35(prolamin)followed by 0.42(globulin)and 0.08(albumin).Oil holding capacity(g/g)reduced from:4.13(glutelin)to 2.57(globulin)and 1.56,1.50 for albumin and prolamin *** ability was stronger for prolamin and glutelin than albumin and globulin,while higher emulsion(pned for prolamin and albumin than for glutelin and globulin.

Détection de la Mutation du Gène hMLH1 Dans le Cancer Colo-rectal Parélectrophorèse Capilailre Associée a la Fluorescence Laser-Induite

Résumé: Objectif Lobjectif de ce travail est detablir une méthode danalyse du polymorphisme de la conformation monochaine (PCMC), capable de détecter la mutation ponctuelle du gène hMLH1 dans le cancer colique en utilisant l l ctrophor se capillaire associée a la fluorescence laser-induite (FLI-EC). Méthodes Les exons 12 du gène hMLH1 du sang périphérique de 42 patients de cancer colo-rectal sporadique et 20 sujets sains témoins sont amplifiés par la PCR. Le PCMC des produits du PCR est analysé par FLI-EC. Les échantillons anormaux ont été confirmés par séquen age EC. Les effets de la concentration du milieu (LPA), de la température de séparationet du voltage de séparation sur le comportement de EC ont été aussi etudiés. Résultats Lanalyse de PCMC par la methode FLI-EC a retrouvé une mutation hétérozygote chez 4 des 42 patients. La mutation ponctuelle de T1151A a été objectivée par la séquen age EC de ces échantillons, aucune mutation na été retrouvée chez les 20 sujets sains témoins. La séparation des pics dADn monochainaux a été facilitée par une légère augmentation de la concentration de LPA (4%-6%), une légère baisse de la température de séparation (20℃) et une légère élévation du voltage de séparation (9kV). Conclusion Une concentration adéquate de LPA, une température de séparation appropriée et un voltage de séparation bien approprié améliorent considérablement l’efficacité du FLI-EC. L’application de cette méthode pour détecter la mutation ponctuelle du gène hMLH1 est d’une rapidité, d’une efficacité, et d’uneéreproductivit consid rables. Cette méthode de réalisation facile reste très prometteur pour le dépistage rapide et massive des mutations génétiques.
