With the aim that to confirm the need for humidity control in the environment in which textile sample are visually and instrumentally analyzed, three different pre-conditioned fabrics sample of cotton, polyester and silk were treated at a fix temperature of 21?C. The relative humidity adjusted to four levels: 55%, 65%, 75% and 85% RH for a conditioning time of 24 hours as specified in ASTM D-1776-98. It has been observed that as the relative humidity increase from 55% to 85% cotton increase its tensile strength, silk losses its strength and there was no significant change observed in the tensile strength of polyester fabric.

Pigment printing was carried out on lab scale by simple screen-printing techniques. By the application of acrylate and butadiene based binder, the crocking fastness, formaldehyde release and PVC migration of fabric printed with Imparon red KB pigment was evaluated. The effect of curing time on K/S values was also investigated. It has been found that butadiene based binder shows good performance in terms of crocking fastness, formaldehyde release and PVC migra-tion. It has also been observed that by increasing the binder concentration, the release of formaldehyde decreased and by increasing the curing time, the K/S values of printed fabric were decreased.

Throughout the months from mid-June to September,2022,Pakistan has been struggling due to the extreme monsoon *** is reported by the Office for the Coordination of Human Affairs that more than 33 million people have been severely affected,making up 14%of the total Pakistan population[1].More than1700 deaths and 128000 cases of injuries have been reported from Sindh,Baluchistan,and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa[2].While Pakistan is working to manage the situation through national and international non-government organizations,currently,7.9 million people are displaced,8.62 million people struggle through food shortage and 130000 pregnant women are suffering due to lack of health services[2].

This paper investigates the properties of displacement sensors based on polyaniline （PANI） films. About 1 wt% of PANI micropowder is mixed and stirred in a solution of 90 wt% water and 10 wt% alcohol at room temperature. The films of PANI axe deposited from solution by drop-casting on Ag electrodes, which are preliminary deposited on glass substrates. The thicknesses of the PANI films are in the range of 20 μm-80 μm. A displacement sensor with polyaniline film as an active material is designed and fabricated. The investigations showed that, on average, the AC resistance of the sensor decreases by 2 times and the capacitance accordingly increases by 1.6 times as the displacement changes in the range of 0 mm-0.5 mm. The polyaniline is the only active material of the displacement sensor. The resistance and capacitance of the PANI changes under the pressure of spring and elastic rubber, and this pressure is created by the downward movement of the micrometer.

The commencement of China–Pakistan Economic Corridor has led to the appreciation of Pakistan’s economic outlook from 5.4%to 5.8%by the World *** upgraded outlook is a welcome sign but it is still trivial,essentially attributable to the electric power crisis,which approximately trims 2%of Pakistan’s economic growth *** 60%of the CPEC(China–Pakistan Economic Corridor)funds are directed at Pakistan’s energy sector,hence,demanding careful attention of both researchers and policy analysts *** study is based upon a meta-analytic review of literature concerning CPEC and Pakistan’s energy *** results of the study demonstrate that CPEC is an easing agent for Pakistan’s energy crisis(82.30%).The results also highlight points of concern,including inadequate planning(47%),dilapidated electricity distribution system causing losses(64.7%),and an unsustainable energy mix(64.7%).The study further validates the findings via Spearman’s *** rρvalue for the possible“resolution of Pakistan’s energy crisis”is 0.5426 achieving a significance level of 98%and a corresponding p-value of *** significant negative rρvalue attained is−0.4894 which establishes the fact that lack of planning can hinder the energy crisis resolution.

Structure Activity Relationship forms the basis of Rational Drug Design in the circles of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. Appropriate knowledge of functional outcomes of structural modifications is crucial in conferring desired pharmacological properties to a chemical compound. Amiodarone is a classical antiarrythmic agent with a long list of adverse effects. This article attempts to review the structure activity relationship of some of the homologues of amiodarone in order to determine the most clinically desirable molecule.

Stroke is a rapidly developing symptom or sign of loss of cerebral function secondary to interruption of the blood supply due to a thrombus or hemorrhage. These diseased vessels are usually affected by well-recognized risk factors, but in some cases other rare conditions may be related to stroke development. Herein, we introduce one of these rare stroke conditions in a 37-year-old previously healthy male who presented to the emergency department with misleading symptoms and signs of reduced level of consciousness, isolated medical 3rd nerve palsy and possible drug overdose. A thorough neurological examination and investigation demonstrated a case of acute ischemic stroke as a consequence of meningeal irritation with an underlying inflammatory response. The patient was treated simultaneously for both conditions and responded dramatically with full recovery upon discharge. Thus, consideration of acute stroke in patients with no previous known risk factors is highly recommended especially with unusual neurological findings.

Upregulation of REL and WSB1 in Patients With Psoriasis and Metabolic Syndrome

Objective:A strong association exists between metabolic syndrome and *** current study was performed to explore the gene regulation of metabolic syndrome in patients with ***:Patients were assessed for psoriasis and metabolic syndrome clinically (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index,height,weight,waist circumference,and blood pressure) and biochemically (lipid profile and fasting blood sugar concentration).Systemic gene regulation was first explored by microarray and analyzed using Transcriptome Analysis Console Software,after which two selected upregulated genes were further validated using polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and analyzed using independent samplet ***:The analysis showed 7,269 upregulated and 3 downregulated genes at a fold change of 2 andP value of < 0.05;only 17 genes were upregulated and none were downregulated at a fold change of 8 andP value of < *** with 22 previously reported potential biomarkers of metabolic syndrome in patients with psoriasis showed that the levels of 16 biomarkers aligned with the gene regulation observed in the current *** particular,theREL transcript was upregulated 12-fold (P = 8.16 × 10-17),while theWSB1 transcript was upregulated 9-fold (P = 9.87 × 10-13).Validation showed thatREL was also upregulated 2-fold in the polymerase chain reaction,and its protein was expressed at 7.140 ng/*** levels in the cases (P = 0.048).However,WSB1 was upregulated 2-fold in the polymerase chain reaction compared with controls,and unexpectedly,its protein was undetectable in cases but detectable in controls (P = 0.018).Conclusion:The upregulation ofREL andWSB1 was observed in patients with psoriasis and metabolic syndrome,the clinical application ofREL andWSB1 as biomarkers needs further validation for potential future implications in clinical practice.

本研究旨在探讨中国游客前往巴基斯坦旅游目的地的行为。在过去的几年里,巴基斯坦被福布斯和纽约时报评为最具吸引力的旅游目的地之一。世界各地的人们都喜欢这个国家引人注目的景观、葱郁的植物、高耸的山脉和迷人的风景。然而,据观察,许多中国游客仍然不愿意游览这个世界上美丽的地方。这种困境促使研究人员研究和揭示那些可能导致中国游客访问巴基斯坦的因素。本研究以推拉理论和认知情感形象理论为基础,提出了一个新的研究框架,认为网络信息资源在提升国家旅游形象方面起着至关重要的作用。这些信息源还可以改善特定目的地的认知和情感形象。此外,本研究旨在回答以下研究问题:如何通过感知形象提升新兴旅游地的目的地形象?为此,研究人员收集了曾去过巴基斯坦的游客的数据。采用结构方程模型(SEM),运用Smart-PLS 4.0对338份问卷进行了分析。实证结果与提出的假设一致。数据显示在线信息来源和访问意愿之间存在着强烈联系,并且在线信息来源和感知形象之间也存在着积极联系。因此,本研究的结论不仅有益于学术研究,还可为旅游业的利益相关者提供有见地的信息。最后,本研究在最后章节提出了研究意义与局限性。
