Organic matters（OMs） and their oxidization products often influence the fate and transport of heavy metals in the subsurface aqueous systems through interaction with the mineral surfaces. This study investigates the ethanol（EtO H）-mediated As（Ⅲ） adsorption onto Zn-loaded pinecone（PC） biochar through batch experiments conducted under Box–Behnken design. The effect of EtO H on As（Ⅲ） adsorption mechanism was quantitatively elucidated by fitting the experimental data using artificial neural network and quadratic modeling approaches. The quadratic model could describe the limiting nature of EtO H and pH on As（Ⅲ） adsorption,whereas neural network revealed the stronger influence of Et OH（64.5%） followed by pH（20.75%）and As（Ⅲ） concentration（14.75%） on the adsorption phenomena. Besides, the interaction among process variables indicated that Et OH enhances As（Ⅲ） adsorption over a pH range of2 to 7, possibly due to facilitation of ligand–metal（Zn） binding complexation ***, hybrid response surface model–genetic algorithm（RSM–GA） approach predicted a better optimal solution than RSM, i.e., the adsorptive removal of As（Ⅲ）（10.47 μg/g） is facilitated at 30.22 mg C/L of Et OH with initial As（Ⅲ） concentration of 196.77 μg/L at pH 5.8. The implication of this investigation might help in understanding the application of biochar for removal of various As（Ⅲ） species in the presence of OM.

The study focused on investigating the effect of Deep Cryogenic Treatment(DCT)on the mechanical and ballistic properties of AA7075-T6 aluminum *** microstructure,microhardness,tensile strength,and impact strength of the Base Material(BM)and DCT-treated 7075 samples were analyzed through metallographic analysis and mechanical *** microstructure of the DCT-treated 7075 samples revealed fine grains and a distribution of secondary phase *** tensile strength,impact strength,and microhardness of DCT-treated samples increased by 7.41%,4%,and 9.68%,respectively,compared to the BM *** fractography analysis of the tensile samples showed cleavage facets,microvoids,and dimples in both the *** ballistic behavior of the BM and DCT target plates were studied by impacting hard steel core projectiles at a velocity of 750±10 m/*** target plates failed due to petaling and ductile hole enlargement,and the depth of penetration(DOP)of the DCT target was less than that of the BM target,indicating a higher ballistic *** post-ballistic microstructure examination of the target plates showed the formation of an Adiabatic Shear Band(ASB)without any *** was concluded that the DCT treatment improved the mechanical and ballistic properties of the aluminum alloy due to grain refinement and high dislocation density.

Greenhouse technology is a practical option for the production and drying of agricultural products in controlled environment. For the successful design of a greenhouse, the selection of a suitable shape and orientation is of great importance. Of various shapes of greenhouses, the even-span roof and the Quonset shape greenhouses are the most commonly used for crop cultivation and drying. The orientation of greenhouses is kept east-west for maximum utilization of solar radiations. Hybrid and modified greenhouse dryers have been proposed for drying of products. The agricultural products dried in greenhouses are found to be better in quality as compared to open sun drying because they are protected from dust, rain, insects, birds and animals. Moreover, various greenhouses shapes along with their applications have been reviewed.

non-enzymatic biosensors based on mixed transition metal oxides are deemed as the most promising devices due to their high sensitivity,selectivity,wide concentration range,low detection limits,and excellent *** niCo2O4 mixed oxides have drawn considerable attention recently due to their outstanding advantages including large specific surface area,high permeability,short electron,and ion diffusion *** of the rapid development of non-enzyme biosensors,the current state of methods for synthesis of pure and composite/hybrid niCo2P4 materials and their subsequent electrochemical biosensing applications are systematically and comprehensively reviewed *** analysis reveals better electrochemical sensing of bioanalytes by one-dimensional and two-dimensional niCo2O4 nano-/microstructures than other *** biosensing efficiency of niCo2O4 as compared to corresponding individual metal oxides,*** and Co3O4,is attributed to the close intrinsic-state redox couples of ni3+/ni2+(0.58 V/0.49 V) and Co3+/Co2+(0.53 V/0.51 V).Biosensing performance of niCo2O4 is also significantly improved by making the composites of niCo2O4 with conducting carbonaceous materials like graphene,reduced graphene oxide,carbon nanotubes(single and multi-walled),carbon nanofibers;conducting polymers like polypyrrole(PPy),polyaniline(PAnI);metal oxides niO,Co3O4,SnO2,MnO2;and metals like Au,Pd,*** factors affecting the morphologies and biosensing parameters of the nano-/microstructured niCo2O4 are also ***,some drawbacks and future perspectives related to this promising field are outlined.

The intent of this paper is to analyze the electromagnetic signature of stator winding inter-turn short-circuit fault in a closed loop speed controlled Induction Motor(IM)employing Finite Element *** winding short-circuit nearly covers 21%of faults in *** the inter-turn fault at an incipient stage is one of the challenging task in the area of fault detection of IM to prevent crucial damages in industrial *** detecting the faults in inverter fed IM under variable speed applications under varying load is one of the major issues in industrial *** the signatures of electromagnetic field contains the entire data in association with the location of rotor,stator and mechanical parts of the motor,a regular monitoring of fields in the airgap can be used to diagnose the inter-turn fault in the stator winding of *** this direction,an IM is modeled with several inter-turn fault severities like 30 turns,15 turns,5 turns&1 turn short using AnSYS Maxwell FEA tool and coupled with AnSYS Simplorer for loading *** PWM inverter with closed loop speed controlled strategy is implemented in Matlab Simulink and co-simulated with AnSYS Simplorer to integrate all the components in one common simulation platform environment for accurate design&analysis for realistic *** electromagnetic variables like flux density,flux lines and airgap flux density distribution over the machine are *** spatial FFT spectrum of radial component of flux density in the airgap contains the information related to the diagnosis of inter-turn fault at the incipient stage.
