We propose a new analytical approach combining vibrational spectroscopy and acoustic tomography for the detection and characterization of vesicles inside Streptomyces bacteria. Using atomic force microscopy and infrared spectroscopy （AFm-IR）, we detect the presence of triglyceride vesicles. Their sizes in depth are measured with high accuracy using mode synthesizing atomic force microscopy （mS-AFm）. We conducted a comparative study of AFm-IR and mS-AFm, and highlighted the advantages of the coupling of these techniques in having a full characterization （chemical, topographical, and volumetric） of a biological sample. With these complementary techniques, a complete access to the vesicle size distribution has been achieved with an accuracy of less than 50 nm. A 3D reconstruction of bacteria showing the in-depth distribution of vesicles is given to underline the great potential of the acoustic method.

蒸汽辅助重力泄油(SAGD)是油砂储层的主要热采方式之一。但对于实际的油砂储层,储层的物性分布特征往往具有极大的非均匀特征,特别是高含水层和泥岩夹层的存在,会严重阻碍蒸汽腔的正常扩展,最终影响SAGD方式的开发效果。在SAGD开发过程中,当汽腔扩展至高含水层或泥岩屏障时,由于高含水层对汽腔的“降温”效应与泥岩夹层对汽腔扩展的“阻隔”效应,导致累积蒸汽油比(CSOR)升高及汽腔绕流热效率降低,从而导致较低的SAGD采收率。本文通过数值模拟手段,分别搭建不同屏障条件下的油砂SAGD开发数值模拟模型,分别模拟研究了高含水饱和度层、泥岩夹层两种屏障因素对SAGD开发动态的影响,表征了单一屏障因素、双重屏障因素影响下的SAGD汽腔扩展特征和开发效果。然后,在此基础上,采用真实的加拿大长湖油砂Pad10区的油藏地质及流体参数,建立真实的油藏地质模型,表征在实际油砂储层中非均匀分布的储层物性对SAGD开发动态的影响,并进行了SAGD操作参数的优化设计,包括操作压力、蒸汽干度及注汽速率。基于单屏障因素的SAGD数值模拟研究,发现高含水饱和层的厚度和分布位置、页岩屏障的厚度、长度和分布位置是影响SAGD开发动态的重要参数。同时,通过模拟两种因素的综合影响,发现受到高含水层和页岩屏障的影响,汽腔扩展特征与均质油藏相比,变化较大,同时产油速率也比均质情况更低。通过建立的Long Lake油砂储层典型SAGD井对的数值模拟模型,优化了操作压力、蒸汽干度及注气速率,结果该典型井SAGD开发的最佳操作压力为1600 k Pa,最佳注汽速率为800m/d,最佳蒸汽干度为90%。本文研究成果对于油砂SAGD开发的生产动态分析、汽腔扩展预测等具有一定的借鉴意义,为尼克森Long Lake油砂资源的高效开发提供了指导。

The Garoua Zone in North Cameroon, the subject of this study, is known to have undergone tectonic movements during the Cretaceous, but the zone's structural data remain poorly *** study exploits the Bouguer anomaly to improve knowledge of Garoua tectonics *** order to characterize these structures, two methods are used: Euler's deconvolution method and the method of the horizontal gradient of the vertical *** of the Euler's solutions map for index N=1 with the map from the horizontal gradient of the vertical derivative method allows determination of gravimetric lineaments, interpreted as faults or as linear contacts, from which we deduce a structural map of the study *** on this map, we identify sixteen lineaments, of which we count eight as linear contacts and eight as *** the faults, we denote one of depth between 4 and 8 km, five faults of depth ranging between 8 and 13 km, and two faults of depths between 13 and 36 *** of these faults shows that the seven deepest faults might present a natural risk in our study *** purposes of civil protection, such deep faults should be monitored and taken into consideration in the implementation of large public *** structural map, established herein from data on the in-depth extension of each fault, thus increases scientific knowledge in the area that can be used to site public works in ways that reduce risk.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder （ADHD） is a neurodevelopmental disorder with a long-term impact on functioning, productivity and quality of life of patients. This impact is largely due to the symptoms of inattentiveness. However, despite its impairing role in the lives of ADHD patients, inattentiveness has been studied relatively less frequently than have symptoms of impulsivity/hyperactivity and problems with executive function. This review therefore seeks to integrate the neuropsychological theories and current findings in the research fields of neuropsychology, neurophysiology, and neuroimaging, in an attempt to gain a more complete understanding of the role that inattentiveness plays in ADHD, as well as to suggest directions for future studies. The need for a more comprehensive understanding of inattentiveness and ADHD, which integrates findings from each of the three disciplines mentioned above, is emphasized.

Background: Pregnancy and early life are critical periods of plasticity during which the fetus and neonate may be influenced by environmental factors such as *** methionine(met) supply in non-ruminants during pregnancy can affect offspring development and ***,the objective of this study was to investigate if increasing met supply during late-pregnancy affects developmental parameters of the calf at birth and if either maternal met or colostrum from met-fed cows alters calf *** born to Holstein cows individually-fed a basal control [CON; 1.47 mcal/kg dry matter(Dm) and 15.3% crude protein] diet with no added met or CON plus ethylcellulose rumen-protected met(mET; mepron? at 0.09% of diet Dm; Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH,Germany)during the last 28 ± 2 d of pregnancy were used.A total of 39 calves were in CON(n = 22 bulls,17 heifers) and 42 in mET(n = 20 bulls,22 heifers).At birth,calves were randomly allocated considering dam treatment and colostrum as fol ows: 1) calves from CON cows and colostrum from CON cows(n = 21); 2) calves from CON cows and colostrum from mET cows(n = 18); 3) calves from mET cows and colostrum from mET cows(n = 22); and 4) calves from mET cows and colostrum from CON cows(n = 20).Al calves were housed,managed,and fed individual y during the first 9 wk of ***: Despite greater daily Dm intake pre-partum in cows fed mET(15.7 vs.14.4 ± 0.12 kg/d,P m quality and quantity were not affected by maternal *** birth,mET calves had greater(P ≤ 0.05) body weight(BW,44.1 vs.42.1 ± 0.70 kg),hip height(HH,81.3 vs.79.6 ± 0.53 cm) and wither height(WH,77.8 vs.75.9 ± 0.47 cm).In contrast,concentrations of His,Lys,and Asn in plasma were lower(P ≤ 0.05) in mET *** of colostrum source,the greater BW,HH,and WH in mET calves at birth persisted through 9 wk of age resulting in average responses of + 3.1 kg BW,+ 1.9 cm HH,and + 1.8 cm WH compared with *** daily gain during the 9 wk was(P

We find an exact solution of travelling waves in one-dimensional coupled maplattices (CmL) and verify its stability in the moving perturbations. The allowance discretewave velocities are obtained and the selection principle of wave velocities is presented. Bythis exact solution, a simple model is suggested to predict the temporal behaviors of travelling waves in CmL.

Spray drift has become an important issue in pesticide application. Vineyard spraying is particularly interesting to consider, as pesticide droplets are not directed towards the ground but rather towards the targeted crop. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of nozzle orientation on droplet size and droplet velocity using three different nozzles （IDK, TVI and TXA） used in vineyards. Two series of measurement were performed in order to assess the effect of the gravity on sprays. Droplet size and one-dimensional droplet velocity characteristics were measured using a phase Doppler particle analyser （PDPA）. Two planes, i.e., one horizontal and one vertical, were considered. Results suggest that the nozzle orientation slightly affects the size distribution, which is shifted towards larger droplets when nozzles spray horizontally compared to vertically spray, However, droplet axial velocity distribution is shifted towards lower values. Supposing that the only droplets which can reach the crop are those with an axial velocity greater than 1 m/s and a diameter larger than 100 lain, results showed significant differences according to the nozzle and orientation. more than 98.6% of the spray volume would reach the target whatever the orientation of the IDK nozzle, 78.8% of the spray volume would reach the crop when the TVI nozzle sprays horizontally, while only 16.0% of the spray volume would reach the crop when TXA nozzle sprays horizontally. This paper offers new perspectives in the comprehension and the optimization of the deposition process into the vegetation based from droplet size and velocity profiles from horizontally oriented sprays from flat fan or hollow cone nozzles.

As a predominantly muslim and ethnically diverse new democracy in Asia,Indo-nesia is a timely case to study how the contending forces of development and social change are reflected in changing norms and practices around family *** paper examines the extent to which the second demographic transition(SDT)theory can provide a primary framework to understand contemporary patterns of fertility,marriage and family change in *** the backdrop of socio-political change following Reformasi in 1998,we found emerging demographic fea-tures typically associated with societies in later stages of fertility *** include fertility below replacement in some regions;increasing age at first marriage,non-marriage,and divorce rates;and growing diversity in household/family *** the vast regions of Indonesia is economically,culturally,and demographically heterogeneous,these key features of SDT are not likely to emerge and unfold in a uniform ***,these demographic shifts are taking place amidst multi-ple tensions and contradictions in the nature and direction of ideational change per-taining to marriage and the *** argue that the prevailing ideational change driving the shifts in marriage,fertility,and the family within Indonesia is neither unilinear nor singular in *** ideational change embodying individual-ism,secularism,and post-materialism-originally proposed in SDT theory to be the primary drivers of fertility decline in post-industrial Western Europe-can overlap with popular values promoting de-secularization and the strengthening of familial *** a demographic framework,the SDT theory is an important and use-ful starting *** it needs to be reevaluated by considering the complex socio-political and increasingly precarious economic terrains behind fertility transition,as well as marriage and family change in post-Reformasi Indonesia.
