Surfactant injection is a well-established method of chemical EOR processes. Surfactant adsorption into clay layers can prevent their proper performance and thus reduce the oil recovery factor. On the other hand, this adsorption property of clay materials can be used to prevent surface and underground water pollution and reduce soil pollution. In this experimental study, the effect of surfactant concentration, electrolyte type (NaCl and MgCl2), and the solution salinity on fluid adsorption into the interlayer space of different clay types (bentonite and kaolinite) was investigated. XRF analysis was conducted on two relevant clay samples, and immersion and Washburn tests were performed on the desired samples with the Sigma 700 setup. Then, according to the clay type, the most optimal conditions were introduced for the surfactant solution used in the two areas of EOR and environmental processes related to reducing soil pollution. In the EOR processes, the optimal condition for the lowest adsorption amount is C (with 1 CMC concentration and salinity of 100,000 ppm for NaCl salt). This fluid works better in kaolinite formations. In the environmental field related to the reduction of soil pollution, if the pollutants we are looking for are Rand S (with alkyl benzene sulfonic acid as the dominant agent), bentonite has a better performance than kaolinite in terms of adsorption and subsequently pollution control. If the polluting fluid contains MgCl2 ions in the exact salinity values, the adsorption amount and soil pollution control will be higher for both adsorbent clays than if our fluid has NaCl salinity. The study's findings have a wide range of applications in surfactant flooding designs, surfactant adsorption optimization, and can be generalized to other detergent types. In the present work, we initially verify anisotropy effect on the heat capacity of a mixed-three-spin （1/2,1,1/2） system （where spins （1/2,1/2） have XY interaction and spins （1,1/2） have Ising interaction together） at finite temperatures, then, the pairwise entanglement for spins （1/2,1/2）, by means of negativity （as a measure of entanglement） as a function of the temperature T, homogeneous magnetic field B, and anisotropy parameter 7 is investigated. In addition, we show that one can find magnetic phase transition points for the spins （1/2,1/2） at finite temperatures and understand properly their behavior with respect to the magnetic field and the anisotropy parameter, via the negativity function. An interval of the magnetic field from the negativity diagram of the spins （1/2,1/2） is presented in which quantum phase transition occurs for the tripartite mixed-three-spin system. FinaUy, some new interesting entanglement witnesses are introduced by using non-degenerate perturbation theory for the mixed-three-spin system.

We analytically investigate Multiple Quantum(MQ) NMR dynamics in a mixed-three-spin(1/2,1,1/2)system with XXX Heisenberg model at the front of an external homogeneous magnetic field B. A single-ion anisotropy property ζ is considered for the spin-1. The intensities dependence of MQ NMR coherences on their orders(zeroth and second orders) for two pairs of spins(1,1/2) and(1/2,1/2) of the favorite tripartite system are obtained. It is also investigated dynamics of the pairwise quantum entanglement for the bipartite(sub)systems(1,1/2) and(1/2,1/2)permanently coupled by, respectively, coupling constants J_1 and J_2, by means of concurrence and fidelity. Then, some straightforward comparisons are done between these quantities and the intensities of MQ NMR coherences and ultimately some interesting results are reported. We also show that the time evolution of MQ coherences based on the reduced density matrix of the pair spins(1,1/2) is closely connected with the dynamics of the pairwise entanglement. Finally, we prove that one can introduce MQ coherence of the zeroth order corresponds to the pair spins(1,1/2) as an entanglement witness at some special time intervals.

We initially introduce one-dimensional mixed-five-spin chain with Ising-XY model which includes mixture of spins-1/2 and spins-1. Here, it is considered that nearest spins（1, 1/2） have Ising-type interaction and nearest spins（1/2, 1/2）have both XY-type and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya（DM） interactions together. Nearest spins（1, 1） have X X Heisenberg interaction. This system is in the vicinity of an external homogeneous magnetic field B in thermal equilibrium state. We promote the quantum information transmitting protocol verified for a normal spin chain with simple model（refer to Rossini D, Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2007 Int. J. Quantum Infor. 5 439）（widely in reference： Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2005 Phys. Rev. A 71 032314） by means of considering the suggested mixed-five-spin chain as a quantum communication channel for transmitting both qubits and qutrits ideally. Hence, we investigate some useful quantities such as quantum capacity and quantum information transmission rate for the system. Finally, we conclude that, when the DM interaction between spins（1/2, 1/2） increases the system is a more ideal channel for transmitting information.

The effects of the welding current mode in resistance spot welding on the microstructure and mechanical properties of advanced high-strength steel dual-phase 590(DP590)sheets were *** showed that a rough martensitic structure was formed in the weld zone of the sample welded via the single-pulsed mode,whereas the microstructure in the heat-affected zone consisted of a very rough martensitic microstructure and rough ***,using the secondary pulse mode led to the formation of tempered martensite in the weld *** maximum load and the energy absorption to failure of the samples with the secondary pulsed cycle were higher than those of the samples with the single-pulsed *** shear results indicated that the secondary pulsed mode could significantly change the mode of failure upon shear tension ***,the obtained results suggest that the use of secondary pulsed mode can improve the microstructural feature and mechanical properties of advanced high-strength steel DP590 welds.

Magnetic and thermodynamic properties of the anisotropic XYZ spin-1/2 finite chain under both homogeneous and inhomogeneous magnetic fields are theoretically studied at low temperature. Using exact diagonalization method(ED), we study the magnetization, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat of the model characterized in terms of the finite correlation length in the presence of three different magnetic fields including longitudinal, transverse, and transverse staggered magnetic fields. The magnetization, susceptibility, and the specific heat of the model are investigated under two conditions separately:(i) When the model is putted in the presence of homogeneous magnetic fields.(ii) When finite inhomogeneities are considered for all applied magnetic fields in the Hamiltonian. We show that for thefinite-size XYZ chains at low temperature, the evident magnetization plateaus gradually convert to their counterpart quasi-plateaus when the transverse magnetic field increases. Moreover, the influence of the transverse and staggered transverse magnetic fields, and their corresponding inhomogeneities on the magnetization process, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat are reported in detail. Our exact results illustrate that by altering the inhomogeneity parameters,magnetization plateaus gradually convert to their counterpart quasi-plateaus. The specific heat manifests Schottky-type maximum, double-peak, and triple-peak, as well as, transformation between them by varying considered inhomogeneity parameters in the Hamiltonian.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluated the gastroprotective effects of standardized aqueous extract of Ziziphus jujuba(Z. jujuba) stem bark against acidified ethanol-induced gastric ulcers as well as anti helicobacter pylori activity of the plant extract in ***: Five groups of rats were orally pre-treated with normal saline(0.9%) as ulcer group, 150 mg/kg of ranitidine as positive control group, 100, 200 and 400 mg of standardized extract solution as the experimental groups. Two hours later, acidified ethanol solution was given by gavages in order to induce of gastric ulcer. The antibacterial effect of extract against clinical strains of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) was evaluated through disc diffusion ***: The ulcer group exhibited significantly severe mucosal injury as compared with ranitidine or extract group which shows significant protective action against gastric mucosal injury. The extract showed no effect on H. ***: The present study indicates that *** stem bark extract had a potential antiulcer activity which might be due to its protective activity, providing a direct, protective effect on the gastric mucosa. Our study showed that anti-H. pylori activity was not among gastroprotective mechanism of Z. jujuba. Further pre-clinical and clinical investigations for evaluating natural active agents and efficacy of this plant are recommended.

The Upper Cretaceous carbonate successions of the Sarvak Formation host giant oil reservoirs in the Persian *** this research,a total of 28 oil samples from nine oilfields located in the western,central and eastern parts of the Persian Gulf region were studied to determine the genetic relationships of oils,depositional setting of possible source rocks,thermal maturity,and source-rock ages in the Persian Gulf *** to the measured geochemical data,the source rocks facies vary from marine carbonates and marl/carbonates in the central and eastern oilfields to shale/carbonates in the western *** Pr/Ph ratio,steranes and terpanes suggest anoxic to dysoxic conditions of the depositional *** depositional environments experienced both low water stratification/low salinity and normal salinity/unstratified *** of the saturated and aromatic biomarkers shows that all oil samples are mature and most of the source rocks lie within the beginning of the oil-generation *** thermal maturity of the central oilfields is higher than that of the other samples,and has gone beyond the oil-generation *** C2s/C2g steranes ratio suggest that the central oilfelds of the Persian Gulf have Paleozoic and Jurassic source rocks,whereas the Sarvak reservoir in other parts of this region is sourced from Cretaceous carbonate rocks.
