Grain yield is determined mainly by grain number and grain *** this study,we identified and characterized MORE GRAINS1(MOG1),a gene associated with grain number and grain weight in rice(Oryza sativa L.),through map-based *** of MOG1 increased grain yield by 18.6%-22.3%under field *** determined that MOG1,a bHLH transcription factor,interacts with OsbHLH107 and directly activates the expression of LONELY GUY(LOG),which encodes a cytokinin-activating enzyme and the cell expansion gene EXPANSIN-LIKE1(EXPLA1),positively regulating grain number per panicle and grain *** variations in the promoter and coding regions of MOG1 between Hap-LNW and Hap-HNW alleles resulted in changes in MOG1 expression level and transcriptional activation,leading to functional *** analysis revealed that Hap-HNW,which results in a greater number and heavier grains,has undergone strong selection but has been poorly utilized in modern lowland rice *** summary,the MOG1-OsbHLH107 complex activates LOG and EXPLA1 expression to promote cell expansion and division of young panicles through the cytokinin pathway,thereby increasing grain number and grain *** findings suggest that Hap-HNW could be used in strategies to breed high-yielding temperate japonica lowland rice.

MXene has garnered widespread recognition in the scientific com-munity due to its remarkable properties,including excellent thermal stability,high conductivity,good hydrophilicity and dispersibility,easy processability,tunable surface properties,and admirable *** have been categorized into different families based on the number of M and X layers in M_(n+1)X_(n),such as M_(2)X,M_(3)X_(2),M_(4)X_(3),and,recently,M_(5)X_(4).Among these families,M_(2)X and M_(3)X_(2),par-ticularly Ti_(3)C_(2),have been greatly explored while limited studies have been given to M_(5)X_(4)MXene ***,studies on the M_(4)X_(3)MXene family have developed recently,hence,demanding a compilation of evaluated ***,this review provides a systematic overview of the latest advancements in M_(4)X_(3)MXenes,focusing on their properties and applications in energy storage *** objective of this review is to provide guidance to researchers on fostering M_(4)X_(3)MXene-based nanomaterials,not only for energy storage devices but also for broader applications.

Effect of PKd1L1 Mutation on its Interaction with PKd2 to Cause Situs Inversus Totalis

Situs inversus totalis(SIT)is a rare homozygous recessive disease caused by the mutation in PKd1L1,which is required for normal interaction with PKd2 and leads to different complications such as respiratory disorders,brain disorders and even *** present study was designed to find out the mutational effect on the binding of PKd2 with mutated PKd1L1,which leads to *** three-dimensional(3d)structure of wild type and mutated PKd1L1 was predicted with>90%confidence using different online *** different online tools that were employed were SWISS-MOdEL,Phyre2(normal&intensive)and *** compute the physiochemical properties of PKd1L1(wild&mutated)and PKd2 in silico approaches were employed using the ExPASy ProtParam *** properties such as molecular weight,isoelectric point,the total number of negatively and positively charged residues,extinction coefficient,half-life,instability and aliphatic index,grand average of hydropathicity,and amino acid percentage were calculated.A lot of variability was observed in these parameters among PKd1L1 and PKd2,which accounted for diversification in their functional *** theoretical pI points showed that PKd1L1(whole)is more basic with 6.64 pI compared to its first chain TOPO_dOM(amino acids from 1–1748)has a pI of 5.62 which means it is basic while PKd2 have the lowest pI point of *** was performed using the Patchdock and ClusPro online tools.

Astrocytoma IV or glioblastoma is one of the fatal and dangerous types of brain *** detection of brain tumor increases the survival rate and helps in reducing the fatality *** imaging modalities have been used for diagnosing by expert radiologists,and Medical Resonance Image(MRI)is considered a better option for detecting brain tumors as MRI is a non-invasive technique and provides better visualization of the brain *** of the challenging issues is to identify the tumorous region from the MRI scans *** segmentation is performed by medical experts,which is a time-consuming task and got chances of *** overcome this issue,automatic segmentation is performed for quick and accurate *** proposed approach is to capture inter-slice information and reduce the *** learning-based brain tumor segmentation techniques proved best among available segmentation ***,deep learning may miss some preliminary info while using MRI images during *** MRI volumes are volumetric,3d U-Net-based models are used but *** of multiple 2d U-Net predictions in axial,sagittal,and coronal views help to capture inter-slice *** approach may reduce the system ***,the Conditional Random Fields(CRF)reduce the predictions’false positives and improve the segmentation *** model is applied to Brain Tumor Segmentation(BraTS)2019 dataset,and cross-validation is performed to check the accuracy of *** proposed approach achieves dice Similarity Score(dSC)of 0.77 on Enhancing Tumor(ET),0.90 on Whole Tumor(WT),and 0.84 on Tumor Core(TC)with reduced Hausdorff distance(Hd)of 3.05 on ET,5.12 on WT and 3.89 on TC.

The exponential growth of population in developing countries likeIndia should focus on innovative technologies in the Agricultural processto meet the future crisis. One of the vital tasks is the crop yield predictionat its early stage;because it forms one of the most challenging tasks inprecision agriculture as it demands a deep understanding of the growth patternwith the highly nonlinear parameters. Environmental parameters like rainfall,temperature, humidity, and management practices like fertilizers, pesticides,irrigation are very dynamic in approach and vary from field to field. In theproposed work, the data were collected from paddy fields of 28 districts in widespectrum of Tamilnadu over a period of 18 years. The Statistical model MultiLinear Regression was used as a benchmark for crop yield prediction, whichyielded an accuracy of 82% owing to its wide ranging input data. Therefore,machine learning models are developed to obtain improved accuracy, namelyBack Propagation Neural Network (BPNN), Support Vector Machine, andGeneral Regression Neural Networks with the given data set. Results showthat GRNN has greater accuracy of 97% (R2 = 0.97) with a normalizedmean square error (NMSE) of 0.03. Hence GRNN can be used for crop yieldprediction in diversified geographical fields.

The deep learning advancements have greatly improved the performance of speech recognition systems,and most recent systems are based on the Recurrent Neural Network(RNN).Overall,the RNN works fine with the small sequence data,but suffers from the gradient vanishing problem in case of large *** transformer networks have neutralized this issue and have shown state-of-the-art results on sequential or speech-related ***,in speech recognition,the input audio is converted into an image using Mel-spectrogram to illustrate frequencies and *** image is classified by the machine learning mechanism to generate a classification ***,the audio frequency in the image has low resolution and causing inaccurate *** paper presents a novel end-to-end binary view transformer-based architecture for speech recognition to cope with the frequency resolution ***,the input audio signal is transformed into a 2d image using ***,the modified universal transformers utilize the multi-head attention to derive contextual information and derive different speech-related ***,a feedforward neural network is also deployed for *** proposed system has generated robust results on Google’s speech command dataset with an accuracy of 95.16%and with minimal *** binary-view transformer eradicates the eventuality of the over-fitting problem by deploying a multiview mechanism to diversify the input data,and multi-head attention captures multiple contexts from the data’s feature map.

BACKGROUNd Elective cholecystectomy(CCY)is recommended for patients with gallstone-related acute cholangitis(AC)following endoscopic decompression to prevent recurrent biliary ***,the optimal timing and implications of CCY remain *** To examine the impact of same-admission CCY compared to interval CCY on patients with gallstone-related AC using the National Readmission database(NRd).METHOdS We queried the NRd to identify all gallstone-related AC hospitalizations in adult patients with and without the same admission CCY between 2016 and *** primary outcome was all-cause 30-d readmission rates,and secondary outcomes included in-hospital mortality,length of stay(LOS),and hospitalization *** Among the 124964 gallstone-related AC hospitalizations,only 14.67%underwent the same admission *** all-cause 30-d readmissions in the same admission CCY group were almost half that of the non-CCY group(5.56%vs 11.50%).Patients in the same admission CCY group had a longer mean LOS and higher hospitalization costs attrib-utable to *** the most common reason for readmission was sepsis in both groups,the second most common reason was AC in the interval CCY *** Our study suggests that patients with gallstone-related AC who do not undergo the same admission CCY have twice the risk of readmission compared to those who undergo CCY during the same *** readmis-sions can potentially be prevented by performing same-admission CCY in appropriate patients,which may reduce subsequent hospitalization costs secondary to readmissions.
