A modified Newton-Raphson iterative technique is formulated for obtaining the static configuration of the Lazy 'S' flexible marine riser between the floater and mid-arch buoy under its submerged self weight and the applied top tension. The geometrically non-linear problem is solved by finite difference with the above technique. The problem is formulated as a regular boundary value problem with specified moments and deflections at both ends. Usually the bending stiffness of the flexible riser made of Coflexip pipe is very low. By use of the above analysis, several flexible riser configurations are analyzed and their characteristic behaviors are investigated. Also, changes in the riser characteristics due to quasi-static motion of the floater end are estimated for the safety of the riser layout.

Clustering is one of the unsupervised learning *** is a procedure which partitions data objects into *** algorithms could not overcome the problems of morphology,overlapping and the large number of clusters at the same *** scientific communities have used the clustering algorithm from the perspective of density,which is one of the best methods in *** study proposes a density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)algorithm based on the selected high-density areas by automatic fuzzy-DBSCAN(AFD)which work. with the initialization of two ***,by using fuzzy and DBSCAN features,is modeled by the selection of high-density areas and generates two parameters for merging and separating *** two generated parameters provide a state of sub-cluster rules in the Cartesian coordinate system for the *** model overcomes the problems of clustering such as morphology,overlapping,and the number of clusters in a dataset *** the experiments,all algorithms are performed on eight data sets with 30 times of *** of them are related to overlapping real datasets and the rest are morphologic and synthetic *** is demonstrated that the AFD algorithm outperforms other recently developed clustering algorithms.

To handle input and output time delays that commonly exist in many network.d control systems(NCSs), a new robust continuous sliding mode control(CSMC) scheme is proposed for the output track.ng in uncertain single input-single-output(SISO) network.d control systems. This scheme consists of three consecutive steps. First, although the network.induced delay in those systems can be effectively handled by using Pade approximation(PA), the unmatched disturbance cames out as another difficulty in the control design. Second, to actively estimate this unmatched disturbance, a generalized proportional integral observer(GPIO) technique is utilized based on only one measured state. Third, by constructing a new sliding manifold with the aid of the estimated unmatched disturbance and states, a GPIO-based CSMC is synthesized, which is employed to cope with not only matched and unmatched disturbances, but also network.nduced delays. The stability of the entire closed-loop system under the proposed GPIO-based CSMC is detailedly *** promising track.ng efficiency and feasibility of the proposed control methodology are verified through simulations and experiments on Quanser's servo module for motion control under various test conditions.

Numerical solution is presented for the two- dimensional flow of a micropolar fluid between two porous coaxial disk. of different permeability for a range of Reynolds number Re （-300≤ Re 〈 0） and permeability parameter A （1.0≤A ≤2.0）. The main flow is superimposed by the injection at the surfaces of the two disk.. Von k.rman＇s similarity transformations are used to reduce the governing equations of motion to a set of non-linear coupled ordinary differential equations （ODEs） in dimensionless form. An algorithm based on the finite difference method is employed to solve these ODEs and Richardson＇s extrapolation is used to obtain higher order accuracy. The results indicate that the parameters Re and A have a strong influence on the velocity and microrotation profiles, shear stresses at the disk. and the position of the viscous/shear layer. The micropolar material constants cl, c2, c3 have profound effect on microrotation as compared to their effect on streamwise and axial velocity profiles. The results of micropolar fluids are compared with the results for Newtonian fluids.

Industry 4.0 production environments and smart manufacturing systems integrate both the physical and decision-mak.ng aspects of manufacturing operations into autonomous and decentralized *** of the k.y aspects of these systems is a production planning,specifically,Scheduling operations on the *** cope with this problem,this paper proposed a Deep Reinforcement Learning with an Actor-Critic algorithm(DRLAC).We model the Job-Shop Scheduling Problem(JSSP)as a Mark.v Decision Process(MDP),represent the state of a JSSP as simple Graph Isomorphism Network.(GIN)to extract nodes features during scheduling,and derive the policy of optimal scheduling which guides the included node features to the best next action of *** addition,we adopt the Actor-Critic(AC)network.s training algorithm-based reinforcement learning for achieving the optimal policy of the *** prove the proposed model’s effectiveness,first,we will present a case study that illustrated a conflict between two job scheduling,secondly,we will apply the proposed model to a k.own benchmark.dataset and compare the results with the traditional scheduling methods and trending *** numerical results indicate that the proposed model can be adaptive with real-time production scheduling,where the average percentage deviation(APD)of our model achieved values between 0.009 and 0.21 comparedwith heuristic methods and values between 0.014 and 0.18 compared with other trending approaches.

This paper describes the measurement of contact pressure in the context of wheel–terrain interaction as affected by wheel load and tire inflation pressure when fusion of the wavelet transform with the back.propagation(BP)neural network.is applied to construct the wavelet neural network.contact pressure prediction *** this aim,a controlled soil bin testing facility equipped with single-wheel tester was utilized while three levels of velocity,three levels of slippage and three levels of wheel load were *** image processing technique,contact area values were determined which were subsequently used for quantification of contact *** of the different predictor models incorporated of various mother wavelets were evaluated using standard statistical evaluation *** mean square error and coefficient of determination values of 0.1382 and 0.9864 achieved by the optimal wavelet neural network.are better than that of BP neural *** proposed tool typifies a high learning speed,enhanced predicting accuracy,and strong robustness.
