Using Linear and Non-Linear Techniques to Characterize Gait Coordination Patterns of Two Individuals with NGLY1 Deficiency

Individuals with NGLY1 Deficiency, an inherited autosomal rece.s.ve disorder, exhibit hyperkinetic movements including athetoid, myoclonic, dysmetric, and dystonic movements impacting both upper and lower limb motion. This report provides the first set of laboratory-based me.s.res characterizing the gait patterns of two individuals with NGLY1 Deficiency, using both linear and non-linear me.s.res, during treadmill walking, and compares them to neurotypical controls. Lower limb kinematics were obtained with a camera-based motion analysis system and bilateral time normalized lower limb joint time.s.ries waveforms were developed. Linear me.s.res of joint range of motion, stride times and peak angular velocity were obtained, and confidence intervals were used to determine if there were differences between the patients and control. Correlations between participant and control mean joint waveforms were calculated and used to evaluate the.s.milarities between patients and controls. Non-linear me.s.res included: joint angle-angle diagrams, phase-portrait are.s. and continuous relative phase (CRP) me.s.res. These me.s.res were used to asse.s.joint coordination and control features of the lower limb motion. Participants displayed high correlations with their control counterparts for the hip and knee joint waveforms, but joint motion was restricted. Peak angular velocities were also significantly le.s.than those of the controls. Both angle-angle and phase-portrait are.s.were le.s.than the controls although the general shapes of those diagrams were.s.milar to those of the controls. The NGLY1 Deficient participants’ CRP me.s.res displayed disrupted coordination patterns with the knee-ankle patterns displaying more disruption than the hip-knee me.s.res. Overall, the participants displayed a functional walking pattern that differed in many quantitative ways from those of the neurotypical controls. We investigate the dynamics of convergent shock compre.s.on in solid cylindrical targe.s.irradiated by an ultrafast relativistic laser *** particle-in-cell simulations and coupled hydrodynamic simulations reveal that the compre.s.on proce.s.is initiated by both magnetic pre.s.re and surface ablation associated with a strong transient surface return current with de.s.ty of the order of 10^(17) A/m^(2) and lifetime of 100 *** results show that the dominant compre.s.on mechanism is governed by the plasma β,i.e.,the ratio of thermal pre.s.re to magnetic *** targe.s.with small radius and low atomic number Z,the magnetic pre.s.re is the dominant shock compre.s.on *** to a scaling law,as the target radius and Z incre.s.,the.s.rface ablation pre.s.re becomes the main mechanism generating convergent ***,an indirect experimental indication of shocked hydrogen compre.s.on is provided by optical shadowgraphy me.s.rements of the evolution of the plasma expansion *** results presented here provide a novel basis for the generation of extremely high pre.s.res exceeding Gbar(100 TPa)to enable the investigation of high-pre.s.re physics using femtosecond J-level laser pulses,offering an alternative to nanosecond kJ-laser pulse-driven and pulsed power Z-pinch compre.s.on methods.

New reagents for immunofluorescence analysis of carbazole.s.ries containing fluorinated β-dicarbonyl fragments and carboxylic substituent groups separated by space.s.of different lengths from the light-gathering carbazole.s.affold have been developed. The marke.s.in complex with eusup>3+sup> ions posse.s.stability in the aqueous phase, inte.s. and prolonged luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the region of 615 nm and excitation wavelengths in the region of 380 - 390 nm, which distinguishes them from most of the analogs used. In the.s.udy of marker conjugation with streptavidin, a reagent containing 4 - 5 europium labeling complexes based on spacer-containing carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit inte.s. and long-lived luminescence in the characteristic region.

The thermal conductivity ofε-iron at high pre.s.re and high temperature is a key parameter to constrain the dynamics and thermal evolution of the earth’s *** this work,we use first-principles calculations to study the Hugoniot sound velocity and the thermal transport properties ofε-*** total thermal conductivity considering lattice vibration is 200 W/mK at the earth’s inner core *** suppre.s.d anharmonic interactions can significantly enhance the lattice thermal conductivity under high pre.s.re,and the contribution of the lattice thermal conductivity should not be ignored under the earth’s core conditions.

基于美国页岩油气勘探开发历程的回顾,对主要页岩盆地的地质演化、主要页岩层系的油气地质特征及勘探开发进展进行系统梳理和总结。美国重要页岩盆地的富烃页岩主要发育于6个地质时期:中奥陶世、中—晚泥盆世、早石炭世(中—晚密西西比世)、早二叠世、晚侏罗世和晚白垩世(塞诺曼期—土伦期),构造沉积环境主要包括克拉通内盆地、前陆盆地和被动大陆边缘盆地。古生界富烃页岩主要分布于以下6个盆地:阿巴拉契亚盆地(尤蒂卡页岩和马塞勒斯页岩)、阿纳达科盆地(伍德福德页岩)、威利斯顿盆地(巴肯页岩)、阿卡马盆地(费耶特维尔页岩)、沃思堡盆地(巴内特页岩)和二叠盆地(狼营组和斯帕瑞组/骨泉组页岩)。中生界富烃页岩主要发育在西墨西哥湾盆地(海恩斯维尔组和鹰滩组)和落基山盆地群(以丹佛和粉河盆地的尼尔布拉勒组页岩为主)。通过对各页岩区带的详细分析发现,页岩的岩相和矿物成分存在差异,“页岩储层”并非只是页岩,很多情况下页岩油气还产自粉砂岩和碳酸盐岩等多种岩石类型。美国的页岩油气资源丰富,页岩油地质资源量超过0.246×1012 t,页岩气地质资源量超过290×1012 m3。在开启“页岩革命”的水平井水力压裂技术出现之前,美国经过了长达20年的勘探开发实践和理论技术积累。自2007年至2023年,美国页岩油气产量从约11.2×104t/d油当量增加到超过300.0×104t/d油当量,2017年页岩油气产量超过了常规油气,2023年在油气总产量中的占比增加到60%以上。页岩油气的开发主要得益于钻完井技术的改进,“立体开发”的攻关,以及重复压裂、提高原油采收率和“U”形井等技术的应用。基于美国丰富的页岩资源基础和技术的不断进步,页岩油气的产量将继续为全美的油气生产做出更大贡献。
