Breast cancer is considered one of the most common cancers among women, accounting for 25% - 29% of new cases worldwide each year. The diagnosis, living with the disease, as well as the different treatments can have important impacts on the Psychological and mental health of patients. Objective: To investigate the psychological aspects that women with breast cancer develop or may develop. Methodology: A systematic review using the PRISMA methodology was used. Results: 11 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were analysed. The largest flow of publications in relation to the effects of the patient with cancer, were carried out between the years 2000 and 2023. Conclusions: Psychological disorders (depression, anxiety, stress) are part of the lives of women diagnosed with breast cancer, and their prevalence varies from one woman to another.

The purpose of this paper is to study the asymptotic behavior of the positive solutions of the problem tu- △u=au-b（x）up in Ω×R＋,u（0）=u0,u（t ）｜ Ω=0, as p→ ＋∞, where Ω is a bounded domain, and b（x） is a nonnegative function. The authors deduce that the limiting configuration solves a parabolic obstacle problem, and afterwards fully describe its long time behavior.

Background: Climate change may strongly influence soil erosion risk, namely through variations in the precipitation pattern. Forests may contribute to mitigate the impacts of climate change on soil erosion and forest managers are thus challenged by the need to define strategies that may protect the soil while addressing the demand for other ecosystem services. Our emphasis is on the development of an approach to assess the impact of silvicultural practices and forest management models on soil erosion risks under climate change. Specifically, we consider the annual variation of the cover-management factor(C) in the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation over a range of alternative forest management models to estimate the corresponding annual soil losses, under both current and changing climate conditions. We report and discuss results of an application of this approach to a forest area in Northwestern Portugal where erosion control is the most relevant water-related ecosystem ***: Local climate change scenarios will contribute to water erosion processes, mostly by rainfall erosivity *** forest management models provide varying levels of soil protection by trees, resulting in distinct soil loss ***: Results confirm the suitability of the proposed approach to address soil erosion concerns in forest management planning. This approach may help foresters assess management models and the corresponding silvicultural practices according to the water-related services they provide.

A Novel Approach to Measuring Spatiotemporal Changes in Social Vulnerability at the Local Level in Portugal

The use of GPR （ground penetrating radar） as an auxiliary tool in geotechnical and environmental site investigations has increased in Brazil during the past few years. GPR has been used to delineate contamination plumes, to aid in geological modelling, to detect buried structures and in archaeological surveys. This paper describes and discusses the results ofa GPR site investigation carried out at Gramacho Municipal Solid Waste Landfill in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A field study was conducted to detect failure surfaces in its slopes and within the waste mass. The results have shown that：（l） Slip surfaces could be indicated by small continuous voids within the waste mass since there is a good contrast between the dielectric constant of air and municipal waste; （2） Greenhouse gases pools could also be indicated by large voids within the waste mass since there is a good contrast between the dielectric constant of carbon dioxide, methane and municipal waste; （3） Leachate pools present a high electric conductivity that could be easily detected by GPR.

Etiology of Fungemia in Neonates: Four Decades of Case Reports

Objectives: To compare groups of etiologic agents for neonatal fungemia based on previously published case reports with regard to case outcomes. Methods: Secondary analysis of data from case reports published in scientific literature indexed in Medline, Scopus and LILACS databases, and starting from the year, full texts were registered until the year 2010. Results: Thirty-four species of fungi were isolated in 252 cases reported over a 40-year period. The distribution of fungal groups according to the development level of a case’s region of origin was very uneven (p Aspergillus sp.) in more developed countries. However, 73% of the chi-squared distribution corresponded to differences observed in the frequency of Candida sp. and non-albicans Candida. While the frequency of candidemia by C. albicans was progressively declining in the period from 1966 to 2010, reports of non-albicans candidemia and other non-Candida fungi became significantly (p albicans Candida or non-Candida fungi were isolated. Conclusion: fungi of the genera Candida and Aspergillus were the etiologic agents most frequently identified in published cases of neonatal fungemia;the outcome of death was more often related to cases where non-albicans Candida or non-Candida fungi were isolated.

The urbanization of a campus landscape has required much space for this expansion, reinforcing the status of geographical space as a limited resource. We analyzed the effects of land cover change assessed over temporal dataset on composition and configuration dynamics of UFSCar (Federal University of São Carlos) campus landscape, based on a descriptive view of the hemeroby levels, over a 54-year period (1962-2016), in order to understand the impacts of past anthropogenic induced landscape change and inform decision making with regard to biodiversity management. The classification of land use/cover dynamics, over time, was obtained based on screen digitizing of aerial photos and LandSat imagery. An ordinal scale ranging from ahemerob to metahemerob was applied to assess the hemerobiotic state of each land use type. Currently, The UFSCar landscape campus configures a biocultural mosaic in different stages of hemeroby. Thus a campus landscape dynamics model, which can be denoted as “forestry-conservation-urban model”, anthropogenic landscape is replaced by natural one, later by land cover reflecting the spatial anthropization process. Through time, two hemerobiotic trajectories were identified, in which 1) an euhemerob landscape matrix is substituted by an ahemerob one, resulting in increased naturalness of the campus landscape, and then 2) metahemerob patch types will later on increasing as a consequence of ongoing urbanization. Expressive amount of ahemerob patches in campus landscape fulfills one of the conditions for maintenance of the capacity for self-regulation and sustainability of a biocultural landscape. This framework provides an essential tool supporting with essential information about current and historical landscape sustainability for campus landscape management and support decision making process. The main institutional challenge for campus landscape sustainable management lies in the balance between the competitors of the campus landscape matrix:
