A h.gh.y efficient,simple,and clean single-step sonosynth.tic procedure h.s been soph.sticated for assembling new series of mono-and bis-pyridine dicarbonitriles from ketones,h.l,and *** presented protocol is applicable for th. preparation of a broad range of uniquely substituted pyridine dicarbonitriles and seems to be superior in comparison with.oth.r previously reported *** antiproliferative impact of th. newly synth.sized derivatives was screened towards th.ee representative cancer cell lines(MCF-7,A549,and h.T116).Most of th. evaluated derivatives sh.wed a moderate to excellent anti-proliferative activity towards th. selected cell *** th.se,compounds 4h.4k,10,12a,and 12b sh.wed both.potent anticancer activity(ICs058μM)on non-tumorigenic cells(MCF-10A and NCM460),suggesting th.ir promising potential to be lead molecules for future antitumor drug *** structure-activity relationsh.ps h.ve been also ***,quantum ch.mical studies based on Density Functional Th.ory(DFT)of th. synth.sized compounds were investigated and found to be consistent with.th. in vitro inh.bitory activities.

Reinforced concrete structures are often exposed to many types of damages and deteriorations due to different causes and exposure conditions during th.ir life *** of such.structures is inh.rently subjected to uncertainty and ambiguity,wh.re subjective opinion and incomplete numeric data are *** th. damage assessment process,estimating th. importance of assessment criteria is an important field in itself,and depends h.avily on th. experience and expertise of *** aim of th.s study is to present a fuzzy-based assessment model,wh.ch.estimates th. importance of structural assessment criteria for concrete *** work aims also at studying,identifying,and prioritizing assessment *** assessment criteria are based on close visual inspections and simple measurements th.t do not require special testing or long-term *** main assessment criteria include th. state of building h.story,environmental conditions,structural capacity,durability,and professional involvement in *** of th.m h.s two levels of *** criteria weigh.s are obtained based on th. opinions of experts using th. Fuzzy Analytic h.erarch. Process(FAh.)*** application of th. FAh. meth.d sh.wed th.t th. most important criteria is th. structural capacity with.a weigh.ing factor of 50.1%,followed by th. environmental condition as second,with.a weigh.ing factor of 22.5%.

Mineralogical and geoch.mical ch.racteristics of stream sediments collected from 30 stations in th. Dah.b-Wadi Kid area(south.astern Sinai,Egypt)are *** studied sediments contain considerable amounts of h.avy minerals,including abundant Fe–Ti oxides,with.up to 25.94%index figure th.t measures th. relative abundance of h.avy minerals to ligh. *** of th. sediments and nature of Fe–Ti oxide intergrowth.,in addition to some non-opaque h.avy minerals,indicate multiple provenances with.contributions from a variety of Neoproterozoic mafic to felsic *** amounts of h.avy minerals are derived from sch.sts th.t belong to th. so-called Wadi Kid volcanosedimentary *** to th. considerable contribution of th. felsic intrusions represented by with.n-plate granites,th. sediments are enrich.d in REE-bearing minerals(e.g.,monazite,cerianite,La-cerianite and allanite),V-bearing th.rite,zircon,and a ZrO_(2) *** majority of Fe–Ti oxides are derived from th. mafic intrusions,and th.y sh.w evidence of pre-,syn-and post-depositional ph.ses of alteration and formation of *** to th. geoch.mical signature of th. bulk silt fraction,th.re is remarkable enrich.ent of LREEs with.distinct negative Eu anomaly,and th.s supports dominance of a provenance dominated by felsic intrusions(i.e.,th. A-type with.n-plate granite and associated pegmatites).Also,th. felsic provenance is responsible for sligh. abnormality of ∑PU+Th.content(up to~37 ppm)and few anomalous samples bear uraniferous zircon and Ce-type *** present paper sh.ds ligh. on th. fertility of th. Dah.b stream sediments in some economic minerals for possible future exploitation,not for gold only,but for potential REEbearing minerals th.t are needed for a wide spectrum of modern tech.ological industries.

Two similar words, effectiveness and efficacy, h.ve comparable insigh. and nearly describe analogous mea-ning for a screening test, yet clear understanding and perception of th.ir diverse meanings will h.lp clarify th. basis of th. differing conclusions about wh.th.r screening tests for different cancers reduce morbidity and mortality. Screening test may not be effective even wh.n it sounds to be efficacious, on th. oth.r h.nd it sh.uld be efficacious wh.n th. test is effective.

Th. purpose of th.s research.is to improve th. robustness of th. autonomous system in order to improve th. position and velocity estimation of an Unmanned Aerial Veh.cle(UAV).Th.refore, new integrated SINS/GPS navigation sch.me based on Interacting Multiple Nonlinear Fuzzy Adaptive h.∞ Models(IMM-NFAh.∞) filtering tech.ique for UAV is presented. Th. proposed IMM-NFAh.∞ strategy switch.s between two different Nonlinear Fuzzy Adaptive h.∞(NFAh.∞) filters and each.NFAh.∞ filter is based on different fuzzy logic inference systems. Th. newly proposed tech.ique takes into consideration th. h.gh.order Taylor series terms and adapts th. nonlinear h.∞ filter based on different fuzzy inference systems via adaptive filter bounds(di),along with.disturbance attenuation parameter c. Simulation analysis validates th. performance of th. proposed algorith., and th. comparison with.nonlinear h.∞(Nh.∞) filter and th.t with.different NFAh.∞ filters demonstrate th. effectiveness of UAV localization utilizing IMM-NFAh.∞ filter.

PSCs damages will be studied in two stages;direct and post blast *** th. present study,th. dynamic response of PSCs was numerically evaluated under different levels of blast th.eats using LS-DYNA *** explicit finite element(FE)analyses are carried out to investigate th. effect of various parameters,such.as web opening sh.pes,boundary conditions and strength.ning details on th. damage index and tough.ess of th. Incidence rate for prostate cancer in th. Arab World is significantly lower th.n United States and Europe, it ranges from 5.5% to 39.2%. h.wever, th. incidence and th. number of death. is expected to increase. In Saudi Arabia, th. crude incidence rate and age standardized incidence rate of prostate cancer are reported to be steadily increasing in between 2001-2008. Only two screening trials were attempted in 2001 and 2009 wh.ch.yielded an incidence rate of 1.17% and 2.5% respectively. Men in th. Arab world are sh.ring a common ch.racteristic of poor knowledge and poor attitude towards prostate cancer examination and screening practices. Th.y are ill-informed about th. PSA test's strength. and drawbacks because th. doctors are not talking to th.m about th. importance of counselling. Men sh.uld be encouraged to do PSA testing before th. age of 50 and till th. age of 70 years. Th.s could be ach.eved by enh.ncing th.ir attitude and enrich.ng th. knowledge of th. ph.sicians towards PSA testing, h.rms and benefits, th.ough.sh.red decision making, wh.ch.would increase men's knowledge scores, reduced th.ir decisional conflict and promote greater involvement in decision making.
