In this era of electronic health,healthcare data is very important because it contains information about human *** addition,the Internet of Things(IoT)revolution has redefined modern healthcare systems and management by providing continuous *** this case,the data related to the heart is more important and requires proper *** the analysis of heart data,Electrocardiogram(ECG)is *** this work,machine learning techniques,such as adaptive boosting(AdaBoost)is used for detecting normal sinus rhythm,atrial fibrillation(AF),and noise in ECG signals to improve the classification *** proposed model uses ECG signals as input and provides results in the form of the presence or absence of disease AF,and classifies other signals as normal,other,or *** article derives different features from the signal using Maximal Information Coefficient(MIC)and minimum Redundancy Maximum Relevance(mRMR)technique,and then classifies them based on their *** the ECG contains some kind of noise and irregular data streams so the purpose of this study is to remove artifacts from the ECG signal by deploying the method of Second-Order-Section(SOS)(filter)and correctly classify *** features were extracted to improve the detection of ECG *** with existing methods,this work gives promising results and can help improve the classification accuracy of the ECG signals.

Strips of mouse ileum were used in current study to investigate the effect of different concentrations of aspirin on their smooth muscles activities. Student＇s kymograph and glass jacket organ bath were used for recording ilum smooth muscles contractions. The recording of the muscles contractions showed regular autorhythmic pattern, and this contraction was enhanced by both ACh （acetylcholine） and KCI （potassium chloride）. This normal contraction and that induced by ACh and KCI mainly depended on the extracellular calcium in their tension and maintaining. Aspirin exerted different effects on ileal smooth muscles contractions depending upon concentrations. Low concentrations 2-40 mM had an stimulatory effects, while high concentrations 60-200 mM had an inhibitory effects, which led to relaxation. Ca^＋2 free solution abolished muscles response to aspirin with the concentrations caused contractions. Aspirin in tum led to continuation of acetylcholine induced contractions.

Complexes of general formula [MBr2(3-clan)n] (where M is Fe, Ni, Cu or Zn;3-clan = m-chloroaniline;n is 1.5 or 2) were prepared and their characteristic properties, such as capillary MP;C, H, N, Br and metal contents;TG/DTG and DSC curves;and IR and electronic spectra were determined. By calorimetric measurements in solution, the values of some thermodynamic parameters of the complexes were determined. From these values, the standard enthalpies of the metal-nitrogen coordinated bonds were calculated, and the standard enthalpies of the formation of the gaseous phase complexes were estimated.

Skin diseases effectively influence all parts of *** and accurate detection of skin cancer is necessary to avoid significant *** manual detection of skin diseases by dermatologists leads to misclassification due to the same intensity and color ***,an automated system to identify these skin diseases is *** studies on skin disease classification using different techniques have been ***,previous techniques failed to identify multi-class skin disease images due to their similar *** the proposed study,a computer-aided framework for automatic skin disease detection is *** the proposed research,we collected and normalized the datasets from two databases(ISIC archive,Mendeley)based on six Basal Cell Carcinoma(BCC),Actinic Keratosis(AK),Seborrheic Keratosis(SK),Nevus(N),Squamous Cell Carcinoma(SCC),and Melanoma(M)common skin ***,segmentation is performed using deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN).Furthermore,three types of features are extracted from segmented skin lesions:ABCD rule,GLCM,and in-depth *** transfer learning is used for deep feature extraction,while a support vector machine(SVM)is used for *** results show that SVM outperformed other studies in terms of accuracy,as AK disease achieved 100%accuracy,BCC 92.7%,M 95.1%,N 97.8%,SK 93.1%,SCC 91.4%with a global accuracy of 95.4%.

当前的船舶结构设计理论和实践正在发生一些有意义的改变。越来越高的海洋运输需求已经促使船舶在尺度、船型和建造方法上发生了重要变化。船舶设计的方法也由传统的规范设计向更加合理的设计方法转变。船舶结构的合理设计方法,需要完全且准确的分析影响船舶结构在其服役期间的安全性和性能的各项因素。充分考虑这些方面,使得最终的设计能够使得船舶结构在满足安全性的前提下达到最优的目标。本文建立了某船体结构的有限元模型,整个建模的任务中心都是围绕着优化的思想进行的。因此,不同于一般的建模方法,本文采用了ANSYS有限元分析软件的参数化设计语言APDL来完成船体结构的建模。这种参数化设计语言可以方便的改变模型参数,从而进行优化设计。继而对这种基于APDL语言建立的模型按照指定的规范进行分析,评估各种典型载荷工况下的模型响应等。基于不同载荷情形下的应力状态,将模型提交给ANSYS的优化设计模块。同时,考虑应力约束条件,建立使得结构重量最轻的目标函数。值得注意的是,经过优化设计后的结构在重量上要比基于规范的设计方法节约很多,现在一般的情况是可以节约9%的重量。

COVID-19 turned out to be an infectious and life-threatening viral disease,and its swift and overwhelming spread has become one of the greatest challenges for the *** yet,no satisfactory vaccine or medication has been developed that could guarantee its mitigation,though several efforts and trials are *** around the globe are striving to overcome the COVID-19 spread and while they are finding out ways for early detection and timely *** this regard,healthcare experts,researchers and scientists have delved into the investigation of existing as well as new *** situation demands development of a clinical decision support system to equip the medical staff ways to timely detect this *** state-of-the-art research in Artificial intelligence(AI),Machine learning(ML)and cloud computing have encouraged healthcare experts to find effective detection *** study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the role of AI&ML in investigating prediction techniques for the COVID-19.A mathematical model has been formulated to analyze and detect its potential *** proposed model is a cloud-based smart detection algorithm using support vector machine(CSDC-SVM)with cross-fold validation *** experimental results have achieved an accuracy of 98.4%with 15-fold cross-validation *** comparison with similar state-of-the-art methods reveals that the proposed CSDC-SVM model possesses better accuracy and efficiency.

Effects of Surgery and Palliative Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Colorectal Liver Metastasis

Purpose: 1) To compare the survival of patients with colorectal liver metastases who underwent resection as the primary treatment against patients who had chemotherapy as the primary treatment. 2) To compare the survival in patients with recurrent inoperable liver metastases (after resection) treated with Oxaliplatin or Irinotecan against those patients with inoperable recurrence who were treated with 5-FU. Patients and Methods: 538 patients with colorectal liver metastases were referred to our unit between November 1997 and May 2005;247 underwent liver resection and 291 had palliative chemotherapy. Results: Only 7.8% of non-operated patients survived for 5 years compared to 31.5% of the liver resection group. After surgery, 191 patients developed inoperable recurrent disease. These patients were treated with chemotherapy;Ox/Ir patients had a 3 year survival of 55% compared to 32% of those who received 5-FU. Our data shows that in patients who relapse after liver surgery, chemotherapy with Oxaliplatin or Irinotecan confers a significant survival benefit.

Objective: To assess the secondary sex ratio (SSR) of assisted reproduction technology babies within a fertility clinic in Melbourne, Australia. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 3369 babies who were born following single embryo transfer between 2011 and 2016. Variables examined included embryo creation date, maternal and paternal ages, maternal body mass index (BMI), type of infertility, sperm parameters, fertilization method, type of embryo and stage of transfer. Multivariate regression analysis was performed on the data set using STRATA V9.2. Results: More males were found to be born to embryos created in summer (adjusted odds ratio=1.46, 95% confidence interval: 1.08-1.95;P=0.01). Lower BMI of mother (≤30 kg/m 2) and younger age of parents (≤35 years) were associated with an increase in SSR (50.1% vs. 47.1%;50.6% vs. 48.8%;50.0% vs. 48.9%) respectively. Decreased SSR value was associated with primary subfertility, using in-vitro fertilization procedure and fresh embryo compared to those with secondary subfertility, using intracytoplasmic sperm injection procedure and thawed embryo (49.3% vs. 50.6%;47.1% vs. 50.8%;49.4% vs. 50.1%) respectively. Conclusions: The fertilization methods, type of embryo, stage of embryo transfer, parameters of the sperm and status of subfertility do not significantly affect the SSR. SSR is affected by the seasonality, maternal age, and BMI.
