The widespread availability of GPS has opened up a whole new market that provides a plethora of location-based ***-based social networks have become very popular as they provide end users like us with several such services utilizing GPS through our ***,when users utilize these services,they inevitably expose personal information such as their ID and sensitive location to the *** to untrustworthy servers and malicious attackers with colossal background knowledge,users'personal information is at risk on these ***,many privacy-preserving solutions for protecting trajectories have significantly decreased utility after *** have come up with a new trajectory privacy protection solution that contraposes the area of interest for ***,Staying Points Detection Method based on Temporal-Spatial Restrictions(SPDM-TSR)is an interest area mining method based on temporal-spatial restrictions,which can clearly distinguish between staying and moving ***,our privacy protection mechanism focuses on the user's areas of interest rather than the entire ***,our proposed mechanism does not rely on third-party service providers and the attackers'background knowledge *** test our models on real datasets,and the results indicate that our proposed algorithm can provide a high standard privacy guarantee as well as data availability.

COVID-19 pandemic restrictions limited all social activities to curtail the spread of the *** foremost and most prime sector among those affected were schools,colleges,and *** education system of entire nations had shifted to online education during this *** shortcomings of Learning Management Systems(LMSs)were detected to support education in an online mode that spawned the research in Artificial Intelligence(AI)based tools that are being developed by the research community to improve the effectiveness of *** paper presents a detailed survey of the different enhancements to LMSs,which are led by key advances in the area of AI to enhance the real-time and non-real-time user *** AI-based enhancements proposed to the LMSs start from the Application layer and Presentation layer in the form of flipped classroom models for the efficient learning environment and appropriately designed UI/UX for efficient utilization of LMS utilities and resources,including AI-based *** layer enhancements are also required,such as AI-based online proctoring and user authentication using *** extend to the Transport layer to support real-time and rate adaptive encrypted video transmission for user security/privacy and satisfactory working of *** also needs the support of the Networking layer for IP-based geolocation features,the Virtual Private Network(VPN)feature,and the support of Software-Defined Networks(SDN)for optimum Quality of Service(QoS).Finally,in addition to these,non-real-time user experience is enhanced by other AI-based enhancements such as Plagiarism detection algorithms and Data Analytics.

Fresh and clean water is highly demanded throughout the *** effectively address the need,nanomaterials enabled nanotechnology has been explored as a means of more efficient,reliable,and environmentally friendly approach towards water treatment *** concern in adopting nanomaterials is how to retrieve them from water body to avoid secondary *** this work,the earth abundant and sustainable wood,e.g.,basswood,was selected and carbonized into porous carbon as host skeleton,and metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),e.g.,MOF-199 with extremely high surface area,were grown throughout all channels in the porous basswood *** the traditional organic pollutant,methyl orange(MO),the combination of MOFs and basswood carbon(MOFs@carbon)demonstrates a remarkable adsorption capacity,which is 243%and 454%higher than basswood carbon and MOF-199,*** an outstanding adsorption performance originates from that the positively charged carbon pulls MO molecules close to carbon surface,leading to a high MO molecule concentration,and then the concentration gradient drives the MO molecules to be stored inside MOFs,functioning like *** findings highlight the potential application of coupled MOFs and biomass carbon in addressing water remediation.

Diagnosis and Management of Childhood Tuberculosis: A Cross-Sectional Study of Practices in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the major killer diseases among infectious diseases. The success of TB control depends on the capability of the health care system to detect and accurately manage TB cases. Tuberculosis in children remained a low public health priority with limited epidemiologic studies. Struggles for TB control in children need to be enhanced as children are providing the reservoir for future cases to develop. Objectives: The study evaluated diagnostic and treatment practices related to childhood pulmonary tuberculosis in Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Pakistan. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study based on retrospective record review of childhood Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients registered in the year 2020 with self-administered questionnaire. Results: Data of 557 childhood cases were collected. Most childhood cases were in age group 1 - 4 years (54%) with male predominance. More than 90% were diagnosed and treated at public sector facilities. 99% of the cases were clinically diagnosed with passive case finding. Cough was considered as a symptom of childhood Tuberculosis (TB) by 94% of physicians. Other important features included failure to thrive (13%), contact with a family history of TB (15%), Malnutrition(24%) and respiratory signs (21%). 99% physicians advised chest X-ray, Complete blood count (CBC) (95%) and Erythrocytes sedimentation rate (ESR) (72%) for diagnosis and fewer physicians (2%) used sputum smear microscopy and induced sputum (0.1%). Combining data on dosage, frequency and duration for drugs, 99% of the cases were found receiving correct regimen. The treatment outcomes of the cases were cured 4 (0.8%), treatment completed 551 (99.3%) and died 2 (0.4%) with no lost to follow up. Conclusions: The study highlights inappropriate diagnostic and treatment practices for managing childhood pulmonary TB among physicians in public and private sectors of Gilgit Baltistan. Oxy-combustion is a promising carbon-capture technology,but atmospheric-pressure oxy-combustion has a relatively low net efficiency,limiting its application in power *** pressurized oxycombustion(POC),the boiler,air separation unit,flue gas recirculation unit,and CO_(2)purification and compression unit are all operated at elevated pressure;this makes the process more efficient,with many advantages over atmospheric pressure,such as low NO_(x)emissions,a smaller boiler size,and *** is also more promising for industrial application and has attracted widespread research interest in recent *** can produce high-pressure CO_(2)with a purity of approximately 95%,which can be used directly for enhanced oil recovery or ***,the pollutant emissions must meet the standards for carbon capture,storage,and *** of the high oxygen and moisture concentrations in POC,the formation of acids via the oxidation and solution of SO_(x)and NO_(x)can be increased,causing the corrosion of pipelines and ***,particulate matter(PM)and mercury emissions can harm the environment and human *** main distinction between pressurized and atmospheric-pressure oxy-combustion is the former’s elevated pressure;thus,the effect of this pressure on the pollutants emitted from POC—including SO_(x),NO_(x),PM,and mercury—must be understood,and effective control methodologies must be incorporated to control the formation of these *** paper reviews recent advances in research on SO_(x),NO_(x),PM,and mercury formation and control in POC systems that can aid in pollutant control in such systems.

BACKGROUND In severe cases of coronary artery disease,percutaneous coronary intervention provide promising *** stent used could be a drug-eluting stent(DES)or a titanium-nitride-oxide coated stent(TiNOS).AIM To compare the 5-year effectiveness and safety of the two stent *** The following systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted in accordance with the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis guidelines,and PubMed/MEDLINE,Scopus,and Cochrane Central were searched from inception till August *** outcomes were major adverse cardiac events(MACE),cardiac death,myocardial infarction(MI),cardiac death or MI,and ischemia-driven total lesion revascularization(ID-TLR).RESULTS Four randomized controlled trials(RCT),which analyzed a sum total of 3045 patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)after a median follow-up time of 5 years were *** statistically insignificant,an increase in the ID-TLR was observed in patients receiving TiNOSs vs *** addition,MI,cardiac death and MI,and definite stent thrombosis(DST)were significantly decreased in the TiNOS *** analysis revealed no significant results with meta-regression presenting non-ST elevated MI(NSTEMI)as a statistically significant covariate in the outcome of *** TiNOS was found to be superior to DES in terms of MI,cardiac death or MI,and DST outcomes,however,the effect of the two stent types on ID-TLR and MACE was not significant.A greater number of studies are required to establish an accurate comparison of patient outcomes in TiNOS and DES.
