Lungs are a vital human body organ,and different Obstructive Lung Diseases(OLD)such as asthma,bronchitis,or lung cancer are caused by shortcomings within the ***,early diagnosis of OLD is crucial for such patients suffering from OLD since,after early diagnosis,breathing exercises and medical precautions can effectively improve their health state.A secure non-invasive early diagnosis of OLD is a primordial need,and in this context,digital image processing supported by Artificial Intelligence(AI)techniques is reliable and widely used in the medical field,especially for improving early disease ***,this article presents an AIbased non-invasive and secured diagnosis for OLD using physiological and iris *** research work implements different machine-learning-based techniques which classify various subjects,which are healthy and effective *** iris features include gray-level run-length matrix-based features,gray-level co-occurrence matrix,and statistical *** features are extracted from iris ***,ten different classifiers and voting techniques,including hard and soft voting,are implemented and tested,and their performances are evaluated using several parameters,which are precision,accuracy,specificity,F-score,and *** on the statistical analysis,it is concluded that the proposed approach offers promising techniques for the non-invasive early diagnosis of OLD with an accuracy of 97.6%.

A computational analysis of magnetized hybrid Darcy-Forchheimer nanofluid flow across a flat surface is presented in this *** the study of heat and mass transfer aspects viscous dissipation,activation energy,Joule heating,thermal radiation,and heat generation effects are *** suspension of nanoparticles singlewalled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)are created by hybrid ***,single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)produce nanofluids,with water acting as conventional fluid,*** partial differential equations(PDEs)that describe the ultimate flow are converted to nonlinear ordinary differential equations(ODEs)using appropriate similarity *** ODEs are dealt with numerically by means of MATLAB’s inbuilt routine function ***,temperature,and concentration profiles are explained pictorially whereas Sherwood number,local skin friction coefficient,and Nusselt number values are represented through bar *** radiation and activation parameters shows direct impact on flow ***,hybrid nanofluid admits a higher magnitude of velocity and temperature than nanofluid,but the concentration profile exhibits the opposite *** notable findings of the present investigation have significant applications in heat combustion and cooling chambers,space technology,the ceramics industry,paint and conductive coatings,bio-sensors,and many more.

Hydrophobic modification of SAPO-34 membranes for improvement of stability under wet condition

SAPO-34 zeolite membranes show high efficiency for CO2/CH4 separation but suffer from the reduction of separation performance when exposed to humid *** this work,n-dodecyltrimethoxysilane(DTMS)was used to modify the hollow fibers supported SAPO-34 membranes to increase the external surface hydrophobicity and thus sustain their performance under moisture *** modified membranes were fully *** separation performance was extensively investigated in both dry and wet gaseous systems and compared with the un-modified *** un-modified SAPO-34 membrane exhibited a high separation selectivity of 160 and CO2 permeance of 1.18×10-6 mol·m-2·s-1·Pa-1 for separation of dry CO2/CH4 at 298 ***,its separation selectivity declined to 0.9 and the CO2 permeance was only about 1.7×10-8 mol·m-2·s-1·Pa-1 for wet CO2/CH4 at same *** temperature(e.g.353 K)could reduce the effect of moisture to improve SAPO-34 separation selectivity,but further increasing temperature(e.g.373 K)led to decrease in CO2/CH4 separation selectivity.A significant decrease of selectivity was observed at higher pressure *** modified SAPO-34 membrane showed decreased CO2 permeance but increased separation selectivity for dry CO2/CH4 gas mixture,and super performance for wet CO2/CH4 gas mixture due to the improved hydrophobicity of membrane surface.A separation selectivity of 65 and CO2 permeance of 4.73×10-8 mol·m-2·s-1·Pa-1 for wet CO2/CH4 mixture can be observed at 353 K with a pressure drop of 0.4 ***,the modified membrane exhibited stable separation performance during the 120-hour test for wet CO2/CH4 mixture at 353 *** hydrophobic modification paves a way for SAPO-34 membranes in real applications.

目的 Actopaxin是将细胞骨架肌动蛋白与局部黏着斑(focal adhesion, FAs)中重要结构蛋白paxillin相连的关键节点,极有可能参与进了力学信号在细胞外基质(extracellular matrix, ECM)与细胞骨架间的传递,可是由于缺少可靠工具,其在介导细胞应力传递中的作用机制仍不明确。方法基于荧光共振能量转移技术(Fluorescence resonance energy transfer,FRET)构建能够可视化检测FAs与细胞骨架间应力传递的活细胞探针ASSA,改变ECM机械性质,观察U-2 OS骨肉瘤细胞中ASSA的响应;干扰actopaxin表达,结合实验室自主研发的paxillin应力探针Pax TS检测actopaxin在FAs内应力传递的作用。结果ASSA探针具有良好的定位特异性、多细胞通用性和力敏特性,能够通过观测FRET比率的变化实现细胞骨架与FAs之间应力传递的可视化检测。实验结果表明,应力在FAs与细胞骨架间借由actopaxin的传递过程与paxillin所受应力都对ECM硬度与组成成分具有敏感性,而paxillin内部应力对两因素的响应并不依赖于actopaxin。结论本研究证明细胞骨架与FAs之间借由actopaxin存在直接的应力传递。该传递过程受到ECM硬度及组成成分的双重调控,与细胞骨架而非FAs的关系更为密切。

There is an increase in annual waste generation due to urbanization,industrialization,and population *** waste management crisis in developing countries and its complexity from region to region has inspired extensive research work in this *** management not only results in environmental hazards,but it also causes significant socio-economic *** to the absence of comprehensive studies on waste to energy(WTE)assessment,this study assesses and reports the merits of alternative technologies for converting WTE in small and medium-size *** analysis for waste collection data in this study uses a pilot study approach to provide useful insights and waste classification.A cantonment district of Pakistan(Wah Cantt)has been used as a case study for performing a technological and economic assessment of energy generation through the use of thermal and biological treatment processes.A mathematical modeling approach has been adopted for generating an economic value of each technology through which this waste can be ***,the levelized cost of energy(LCOE)based assessment has been performed to provide a methodological framework for selecting the most feasible WTE technology in a small or medium-size *** on the model results,anaerobic digestion appears to be the most sustainable technology due to the organic nature of waste in Wah Cantt,land legislation,and availability of area to install a waste *** all the waste collected,the district can generate approximately 14.4 MW of energy through thermal treatment,19,110 m^(3) of daily biogas through anaerobic digestion,and 5 million tons of fertilizer through ***,if a proper supply chain is established for converting a portion of Pakistan’s annual waste generation,a significant amount of waste energy potential can be restored.

With the development of sensor technology and wireless communication technology,edge computing has a wider range of *** privacy protection of edge computing is of great *** the edge computing system,in order to ensure the credibility of the source of terminal data,mobile edge computing(MEC)needs to verify the signature of the terminal node on the *** the signature process,the computing power of edge devices such as wireless terminals can easily become the bottleneck of system ***,it is very necessary to improve efficiency through computational ***,this paper proposes an identitybased edge computing anonymous authentication *** protocol realizes mutual authentication and obtains a shared key by encrypting the mutual *** encryption algorithm is implemented through a thresholded identity-based proxy ring *** a large number of terminals offload computing,MEC can set the priority of offloading tasks according to the user’s identity and permissions,thereby improving offloading *** analysis shows that the scheme can guarantee the anonymity and unforgeability of *** probability of a malicious node forging a signature is equivalent to cracking the discrete logarithm *** to the efficiency analysis,in the case of MEC offloading,the computational complexity is significantly reduced,the computing power of edge devices is liberated,and the signature efficiency is improved.

为探明花后弱光胁迫对软质小麦籽粒产量、淀粉粒度分布及黏度参数的影响,以软质小麦品种荃麦725和扬麦15为材料,在小麦开花后设置3个弱光处理即S1 (遮光10%)、S2(遮光20%)、S3(遮光30%)处理,以自然光照条件为对照,分析花后不同程度弱光条件下软质小麦籽粒产量、淀粉粒度分布与黏度参数的差异。结果表明,与对照相比,花后弱光降低了小麦粒重、穗粒数和产量,提高了籽粒蛋白质含量,但使籽粒淀粉含量、籽粒蛋白质和淀粉积累量显著减少。花后弱光降低了软质小麦B型淀粉粒(粒径≤10μm)体积、表面积百分比,增加了A型淀粉粒(粒径>10μm)体积、表面积百分比,对A、B型淀粉粒数目百分比无显著影响。在B型淀粉粒中,弱光对粒径0.1～2.8μm的淀粉粒体积百分比的影响较粒径2.8～10μm的淀粉粒大。在A型淀粉粒中,弱光对粒径>22μm的淀粉粒体积百分比的影响大于粒径10～22μm的淀粉粒。弱光导致小麦籽粒淀粉峰值黏度、低谷黏度、最终黏度、稀懈值、回升值等参数显著下降。花后弱光虽然可增加软质小麦籽粒蛋白质含量,但显著降低籽粒淀粉含量以及蛋白质和淀粉积累量,不利于粒重与产量形成;弱光对B型淀粉粒的影响大于A型淀粉粒,会降低B型淀粉粒体积和表面积占比,但可增加A型淀粉粒体积和表面积占比,降低淀粉峰值黏度等参数。
