The microporous magnesia refractory shows a promising application prospect as tundish lining due to excellent thermal insulation and slag *** effect of interaction between microporous magnesia castable and 38CrMoAl steel containing 0.876 wt.%Al on the cleanliness of 38CrMoAl steel was studied and compared with that of fused magnesia *** results show that the micropores in the microporous magnesia castable can promote the formation of dense and continuous MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)layer,which can inhibit the further pollution of molten steel by refractories,whereas the MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)layer formed in test of fused magnesia castable is not *** 30 min holding,the total oxygen content in the steel samples for the test of microporous magnesia castable is only 42.2%of that for the test of fused magnesia *** inclusions in the steel samples for the test of microporous magnesia castable are also less than those for the test of fused magnesia *** shows that microporous magnesia castable is a promising tundish refractory for the preparation of clean high-Al steel.

The zirconia ceramic ring was prepared using fused monoclinic zirconia as main starting material, adopting composite stabilizer of magnesia, yttria and calcium nitrate, and applying recombination technology of traditional refractories and ceramics. Effect of the preparation process on material properties was comparatively studied, and the microstructure and phase composition were analyzed. The results show that adopting the high-speed mixing granulation process and the appropriate heat treatment can realize the control on the phase composition and microstructure, the zirconia ceramic ring with good thermal shock resitance and mechanical properties can be prepared.

Lightweight refractory materials with thermal insulation properties and erosion resistance are advantageous for hightemperature *** zirconia refractories were prepared using starch as a pore-forming agent,basic magnesium carbonate as a stabilizer,and nano-zirconia as an *** effects of the nano-zirconia content on the pore and thermal insulation properties of the lightweight zirconia refractories were investigated based on the porosity,phase composition,microstructure,and thermal ***-zirconia was shown to have a high surface energy,and its addition effectively increased the driving force for sintering,reduced the sintering temperature,and promoted the sintering reaction,thereby reducing the apparent porosity and improving the density of the prepared *** to the superplasticity of nano-zirconia,the surface stress caused plastic deformation between particles,which increased the migration rate of grain boundaries and trapped more gas inside the material before it diffused to the surface,thereby enhancing the closed porosity of the *** presence of closed pores could extend the thermal conduction path,decrease the conduction rate,and hinder the conduction effect to effectively reduce the thermal conductivity of the *** a nano-zirconia content of 0.75 wt.%,the prepared lightweight zirconia had the highest closed porosity and the lowest thermal *** apparent porosity,closed porosity,and total porosity of the material were 2.8%,7.0%,and 9.8%,respectively,and the thermal conductivity at 800℃was 1.37 W m^(-1)k^(-1).

With the energy crisis and ecological environment deterioration, porous thermal-insulating materials become an advanced research hotspot, and the influence of pore distribution cannot be ignored. The mathematical model is established basing on the heat transfor theory, regarding the minimum heat flux density as the objective function, the constant total porosity as a constraint condition, using the BFGS method to optimize the pore distribution. The results show that when the heat flux is the minimum, in the case of the fixed total porosity, the high temperature zone has high porosity, the low temperature zone has low porosity; the maximal fluctuating amplitude of porosity between the adjacent discrete points has great impact on the thermal insulating performanee, the greater the fluctuating amplitude, the better the thermal insulating ability. After calculating the temperature field of the corresponding physical model, it can be found that the temperature gradient is non-uniform, the temperature gradient of the high temperature zone is steep, and that of the low temperature zone is gentle. These results have guiding significance for preparation of porous thermal-insulating materials.

The last 3 years have seen the emergence of promising targeted therapies for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Sorafenib has been the mainstay of treatment for a decade and newer modalities were ineffective and did not confer any increased therapeutic benefit until the introduction of lenvatinib which was approved based on its non-inferiority to *** subsequent success of regorafenib in HCC patients who progress on sorafenib treatment heralded a new era of second-line treatment and was quickly followed by ramucirumab,cabozantinib,and the most influential,immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).Over the same period combination therapies,including anti-angiogenesis agents with ICIs,dual ICIs and targeted agents in conjunction with surgery or other loco-regional therapies,have been extensively investigated and have shown promise and provided the basis for exciting clinical *** continues to develop additional novel therapeutic agents which could potentially augment the presently available options and understand the underlying mechanisms responsible for drug resistance,with the goal of improving the survival of patients with HCC.

The interaction of MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based and MgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractories with X70 molten steel was studied by immersion experiments at 1560℃.The effects of immersion time(30 and 60 min)on the contents of total oxygen(TO),Al,Nb,Si,Mn,and Cr as well as the composition,number density,and size distribution of inclusions in the molten steel were *** influence of the penetration and erosion degree of the molten steel to the refractory on the steel-refractory interface layer was *** results show that,at 1560℃,the MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory can better control the contents of TO and the composition of molten steel compared with the MgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based *** TO content is only 16×10^(-4) wt.%in the molten steel after reacted with the Mg0-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory at the end point of refining,4 accounting for 11.5%of that reacted with the MgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory(139×10^(-4) wt.%).The number density of inclusions is only 14 mm^(-2),and the average size ofinclusions is only 1.31μm,with thelargest proportion of inclusions in 1-2μm(70%).The Al_(2)O_(3)-MnS-Cao complex inclusions in the original steel changed to complex inclusions dominated by Cr-Nb-Mn-S-O and ***_(2)O_(3),corresponding to the MgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based and MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractories,*** ***_(2)O_(3) layer was formed at the reaction interface between MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory and molten steel,which is helpful to restrict the erosion of refractories and the pollution of molten *** damage mechanism of the MgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory is mainly permeation and chemical reaction,while the damage of the MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory is mainlyscouring erosion.

Corundum -spinel castables containing lightweight aggregates have drawn many attentions due to their po- tential for energy-saving, especially when applied in the high-temperature region, such as the work lining of refi- ning ladle. One main aspect that restricts their applica- tion is the slag corrosion performance. In this study, one dense tabular corundum and three kinds of lightweight corundum were chosen as aggregates to prepare four dif- ferent corundum - spinel castables. The slag resistance was compared through the induction furnace corrosion test. SEM - EDS, XRD, and thermodynamic and kinet- ics analysis were adopted for the discussion of the corro- sion mechanism. Results show that the crystal grain size and shape of aggregates are important for the slag corro- sion resistance of lightweight corundum -spinel castables under dynamic condition （enforced convection） , yet the effects of pore characteristics are not dominated. Aggre- gates with large flake-like crystal grains show a thicker dissolution diffusion boundary layer and a lower dissolution rate, resulting in a favorable corrosion resist- ance of the castable. The poor microstructure of the ag- gregates, namely, larger pores and small and spherical grains, would cause deterioration of castables＇ slag resistance.

Chrame containing refractories are a kind of traditional material for the lining of alkali recovery furnaces, but the formation of hexavalent chrome compounds will give rise to detrimental effect on environment and human＇s health. With the gradual awakening of people＇s comciousness about environment protection, it is urgent to prepare environmental-friendly materials for alkali recovery jurnaces with high quality and long life. In this paper, alumina-rich MgAl2O4 spinel （ AR90 ） was used to replace chromite. The physical properties of dried （110 ℃ for 24 h） or fired （1 300 ℃ for 3 h） AR90 and chromite were studied, respectively. The alkali vapor method was used to determine the alkali resistance of the two materials. The results show that：（1） after drying at 110 ℃ for 24 h, AR90 specimens show higher apparent porosity and slightly lower bulk density than chromite specimens; after firing at 1 300 ℃ for 3 h, AR90 has significantly higher apparent porosity as well as higher bulk density; （2） after the alkali attack, the AR90 specimens sintered at 1 300 ℃ exhibit smaller strength change and much higher compressive strength than the chromite specimens; meanwhile, the permeability degree of alkali salt in chromite specimens is more serious than that in AR90 specimens, which indicates that AR90 possesses better alkali resistance.
