Three-dimensional(3d)porous absorbents have attracted significant attention in the oily wastewater treatment technology due to their high porosity and *** their amphiphilic surface,they have a propensity to simultaneously absorb water and oil,which restricts their range of *** this study,a reduced graphene oxide and titanium dioxide nanocomposite(rGO/TiO_(2))was used to fabricate an ultra-hydrophobic melamine sponge(MS)through interfacial modification using a solution immersion *** further modify it,poly-dimethylsiloxane(PdMS)was grafted onto its surface to establish stronger covalent bonds with the *** water contact angle of the sponge(rGO/TiO_(2)/PdMS/MS)was 164.2°,which satisfies the condition for *** evidence of its water repellency was demonstrated by the Cassie-Baxter theory and the lotus leaf *** a result of the increased density of rGO/TiO_(2)/PdMS/MS,it recorded an initial capacity that was 2 g/g lower than the raw MS for crude oil *** raw MS retained 53% of its initial absorption capacity after 20 cycles of absorption,while rGO/TiO_(2)/PdMS/MS retained 97%,suggesting good *** oil and organic solvent recovery(90%-96%)was demonstrated by rGO/TiO_(2)/PdMS/MS in oil-water *** a continuous separation system,it achieved a remarkable separation efficiency of 2.4×10^(6)L/(m^(3)·h),and in turbulent emulsion separation,it achieved a demulsification efficiency of 90%-91%.This study provides a practical substitute for massive oil spill cleaning.

Background: Critical Thinking (CT) dispositions in nursing are prominent predictors of competence in delivering high-quality care, and of professionalism, in newly graduated nurses. CT skills, in isolation of CT dispositions, do not guarantee success in the workplace, because Critical Thinking dispositions (CTd) are important elements of intellectual reasoning that simulate a person towards using the CT skills. Therefore, nursing educational programs should promote lifelong learning rather than focusing on transferring the content of nursing knowledge only. And for this purpose, quality education is the key. Education should focus on teaching from diverse perspectives, incorporating various teaching learning strategies that are congruent with the modern era. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore critical thinking dispositions among final year Baccalaureate Nursing students of various military colleges of nursing, in Pakistan. Methodology: A descriptive qualitative exploratory study design was used to investigate the CTd of BSc final year nursing students. The study population included twelve willing nursing students, from six military colleges across the country. demographic information and consent was taken from the participants of the study. In-depth interviews, through a semi structured interview guide, and probes were used to obtain data related to personal experiences of CTd amongst the nursing students. Results: data analysis showed two broad themes: 1) Perceptions of CT, and 2) Experiences of CT dispositions. In theme one, the emerging category was: Clarity of CT;whereas in theme two, the categories that emerged were: a) Truth Seeking, b) Open Mindedness, c) Inquisitiveness, and d) Self Organization. Conclusion: The findings of the study revealed positive dispositions towards truth seeking, open mindedness, and self-organization, whereas disposition towards inquisitiveness was weak. Amplifying drought stress and high precipitation variability impair dryland wheat *** problems can potentially be minimized by using plastic mulch (PM) or straw mulch (SM).Therefore,wheat grain yield,soil water storage,soil temperature and water-use productivity of PM and SM treatments were compared with no mulch (CK)treatment on dryland wheat over a period of eight *** to the CK treatment,PM and SM treatments on average significantly increased grain yield by 12.6 and 10.5%,*** to the CK treatment,SM treatment significantly decreased soil daily temperature by 0.57,0.60 and 0.48°C for the whole seasons,growing periods and summer fallow periods,*** contrast,compared to the CK treatment,PM treatment increased soil daily temperature by 0.44,0.51 and 0.27°C for the whole seasons,growing periods and summer fallow periods,*** soil temperature under SM allowed greater soil water storage than under *** water storage pre-seeding was 17%greater under the SM than under the PM *** water storage post-harvest was similar for the PM and SM treatments,but evapotranspiration was 4.5%higher in the SM than in the PM ***,water-use productivity was 6.6%greater under PM than under the SM ***,PM treatment increased dryland wheat yield and water-use productivity,while straw mulch increased soil water storage.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have made great advances in terms of power conversion efficiency(PCE),yet their subpar stability continues to hinder their *** interface between the perovskite layer and the charge-carrier transporting layers plays a crucial role in undermining the stability of *** this work,we propose a strategy to stabilize high-performance PSCs with PCE over 23%by introducing a cesium-doped graphene oxide(GO-Cs)as an interlayer between the perovskite and hole-transporting *** GO-Cs treated PSCs exhibit excellent operational stability with a projected T80(the time where the device PCE reduces to 80%of its initial value)of 2143 h of operation at the maximum powering point under one sun illumination.

Automated Video Generation of Moving digits from Text Using deep deconvolutional Generative Adversarial Network

Generating realistic and synthetic video from text is a highly challenging task due to the multitude of issues involved,including digit deformation,noise interference between frames,blurred output,and the need for temporal coherence across *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for generating coherent videos of moving digits from textual input using a deep deconvolutional Generative Adversarial Network(dd-GAN).The ddGAN comprises a deep deconvolutional Neural Network(ddNN)as a Generator(G)and a modified deep Convolutional Neural Network(dCNN)as a discriminator(d)to ensure temporal coherence between adjacent *** proposed research involves several ***,the input text is fed into a Long Short Term Memory(LSTM)based text encoder and then smoothed using Conditioning Augmentation(CA)techniques to enhance the effectiveness of the Generator(G).Next,using a ddNN to generate video frames by incorporating enhanced text and random noise and modifying a dCNN to act as a discriminator(d),effectively distinguishing between generated and real *** research evaluates the quality of the generated videos using standard metrics like Inception Score(IS),Fréchet Inception distance(FId),Fréchet Inception distance for video(FId2vid),and Generative Adversarial Metric(GAM),along with a human study based on realism,coherence,and *** conducting experiments on Single-digit Bouncing MNIST GIFs(SBMG),Two-digit Bouncing MNIST GIFs(TBMG),and a custom dataset of essential mathematics videos with related text,this research demonstrates significant improvements in both metrics and human study results,confirming the effectiveness of *** research also took the exciting challenge of generating preschool math videos from text,handling complex structures,digits,and symbols,and achieving successful *** proposed research demonstrates promising results for generating coherent videos from textual input.
