采用基于密度泛函理论(DFT)的第一性原理平面波赝势(USPP)法,以In、Bi、Sb掺杂SnO_(2)为主要研究对象,构建了M_(1-x)Sn_(x)O_(2)二维片状材料模型并模拟其锂化过程,获得Li^(+)饱和浓度曲线;构建M_(1-x)Sn_(x)O_(2)三维晶体结构并计算其能带结构、态密度、分子轨道和布居;使用过渡态搜索(TS search)方法评估了Li^(+)扩散的能垒。结果表明,M_(1-x)Sn_(x)O_(2)锂化至饱和状态时锂浓度分别为Li_(0.47)SnO_(2)、Li_(0.47)In_(0.3)Sn_(0.7)O_(2)、Li_(0.47)Bi_(0.3)Sn_(0.7)O_(2)、Li_(0.59)Sb_(0.3)Sn_(0.7)O_(2);SnO_(2)、In-SnO_(2)、Bi-SnO_(2)、Sb-SnO_(2)的带隙分别为1.23、1.72、1.47、0.23 eV,其中Sb-SnO_(2)态密度在费米能级处脉冲峰的展宽扩大到-2~6 eV,表明Sb原子的掺杂使得原子间的耦合作用增强,带隙减小,轨道范围变大,电子的非局域性变强;掺杂In、Bi、Sb原子后SnO_(2)离子键的键级由0.33分别转变为0.22、0.03、0.02,离子性依次增强,其中Sb-SnO_(2)的离子性最强,Sn—O键强度最低。同样的路径下Li^(+)在SnO_(2)、In-SnO_(2)、Bi-SnO_(2)、Sb-SnO_(2)中扩散所需的最大能量分别为1.1、0.75、1.03、0.56 eV;金属元素Sb掺杂SnO_(2)可有效增强其锂化能力。

OBJECTIVE:The administrative data from trauma centers could serve as potential sources of invaluable information while studying epidemiologic features of car accidents. In this cross-sectional analysis of Shahid Rajaee hospital administrative data, we aimed to evaluate patients injured in car accidents in terms of age, gender, injury severity, injured body regions and hospitalization outcome in the recent four years (2011-2014).;METHODS:The hospital registry was accessed at Shiraz Trauma Research Center (Shiraz, Iran) and the admission's unit data were merged with the information gathered upon discharge. A total number of 27,222 car accident patients aged over 15 years with International Classification of Diseases 10th revision (ICD-10) external causes of injury codes (V40.9-V49.9) were analyzed. Injury severity score and injured body regions were determined based on converting ICD-10 injury codes to Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS-98) severity codes using a domestically developed electronic algorithm. A binary logistic regression model was applied to the data to examine the contribution of all independent variables to in-hospital mortality.;RESULTS:Men accounted for 68.9% of the injuries and the male to female ratio was 2.2:1. The age of the studied population was (34 ± 15) years, with more than 77.2% of the population located in the 15-45 years old age group. Head and neck was the most commonly injured body region (39.0%) followed by extremities (27.2%). Injury severity score (ISS) was calculated for 13,152 (48.3%) patients, of whom, 80.9% had severity scores less than 9. There were 332 patients (1.2%) admitted to the intensive care units and 422 in-hospital fatalities (1.5%) were recorded during the study period. Age above 65 years [OR = 7.4, 95% CI (5.0-10.9)], ISS above 16 [OR = 9.1, 95% CI (5.5-14.9)], sustaining a thoracic injury [OR = 7.4, 95% CI (4.6-11.9)] and head injury [OR = 4.9, 95% CI (3.1-7.6)] were the most important independent predictors of death fo

The main goal of our research work is to search for nodule bacteria of local soybean varieties and to identify and study their nodule-forming properties. In the present study, soil samples from fields in the Tashkent, Andijan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya, Fergana, and Khorezm regions of Uzbekistan were studied for the formation of symbiotic nodules in local soybean varieties. Nodules formed only in the soils of the Tashkent region in the root systems of local soybean varieties (Madad, Sevinch, Dostlik, Parvoz, Gavkhar, Khasildar, Baraka, Tashkent, Uzbekistan-6, Tumaris, Nafis, Orzu) were formed from 22 to 40 nodule. Forty-one bacterial species belonging to the genus Bradyrhizobium were isolated from the nodules of the different varieties. The specificity, virulence, and symbiotic efficacy of 12 active nodule bacteria were compared in the local Madad, Sevinch, Dostlik, and Parvoz varieties. The root systems of these varieties formed from 2 to 14 symbiotic pink nodules 0.5 - 10 mm in size. Inoculation of the Madad and Dostlik varieties with their specific M5-1 and D24-1 nodule bacteria resulted in a symbiotic efficiency 46.6% - 54.4% higher than in uninoculated control plants. Notably, the foreign inoculum “Rizovit” (Kazakhstan), created on the basis of Bradyrhizobium japonicum, did not form any nodules on the roots of the local Uzbekistan varieties. The main reason for this may be the difference in the genetic origin of foreign soybean varieties and domestic Uzbekistan varieties. The nucleotide sequences of 16S rRNA genes of nodule bacteria M5-1, S7-2, D24-1, and P12-1 showed 97.07% similarity with the 16S rRNA genes of Bradyrhizobium japonicum PRY65 (AF239848.2) and 98.98% similarity with Bradyrhizobium japonicum PRY62 (AF239847.2).

Current work is focused on the influence of friction in deep drawing process. Friction measurements were also conducted using a modified tribotester based on strip sliding between tools. Four different tool surfaces were tested under similar contact conditions regarding contact area, normal pressure, sliding speed, lubricant and surface characteristics to calculate the friction coefficient between the tool surface and a high strength low alloy steel sheet HSLA 380. The results showed that friction coefficient varies over a wide range with different lubricating conditions and different sliding velocities. For some sliding velocities, the coefficient of friction is stable and low, while for others it is unstable and higher. Results of the experiments reveal that this novel tribotester is a very useful tool to evaluate and compare the friction between steel sheet and tool surfaces in alloyed steel for cold working applications. The outcomes have only small dispersion within the different test series, which indicates a stable process with good repeatability. The test method enables comparison of different surface finishes and treatments, lubricants and coatings in terms of friction and galling under conditions similar to those found in sheet metal forming processes. The four different types of surfaces considered for this study were grinded, polished, nitrided and quenched/tempered. The main difference among the tested tools in this work was the surface roughness, which was found to have a strong influence on friction.

Interaction between soil pedogenesis, subsurface water dynamics, climate, vegetation and human ingenuity in a desert environment has been found to result in a unique ecohydrological system with an essentially three dimensional sedimentation structure in the bed of a recharge dam in Oman. A 3-D array of silt blocks sand- wiched by dry sand-filled horizontal and vertical fractures was studied in pot experiments as a model of a natural prototype. Pots are filled with a homogenous sand-silt mixture （control） or artificially structured （smart design, SD） soil substrates. Rhodes grass and ivy （Ipomea, Convolvulaceae） were grown in the pots during the hottest season in Oman. Soil moisture content （SMC） was measured at different depths over a period of 20 days without irrigation. SD preserved the SMC of the root zone for both ivy and grass （SMC of around 25%-30% compared to 〈10% for control, 3 days after the last irrigation）. Even after 20 days, SMC was around 18% in the SD and 7% in the control. This, similar to the case of a natural prototype, is attributed to the higher upward capillary movement of water in control pots and intensive evaporation. The capillary barrier of sand sheaths causes discontinuity in moisture mi- gration from the micro-pores in the silt blocks to sand pores. The blocks serve as capillarity-locked water buffers, which are depleted at a slow rate by transpiration rather than evaporation from the soil surface. This creates a unique ecosystem with a dramatic difference in vegetation between SD-pots and control pots. Consequently, the Noy-Meir edaphic factor, conceptualizing the ecological impact of 1-D vertical heterogeneity of desert soils, should be generalized to incorporate 3-D soil heterogeneity patterns. This agro-engineering control of the soil substrate and soil moisture distribution and dynamics （SMDaD） can be widely used by desert farmers as a cheap technique, with significant savings of irrigation water.

Spectra of absorption, luminescence, magnetic circular dichroism （MCD）, and magnetic circular polarization of lumines- cence （MCPL） in Gd3Ga5O12：Eu3＋ and Eu3Ga3O12 garnets were studied within the visible spectral range at 300 K. Analysis of the spectral and temperature dependences of the magnetooptical and optical spectra made it possible to identify the magneto-dipole （MD） and electro-dipole （ED） 4f→4f transitions occurring between Stark sublevels of the 7FJ （J=1, 2） and 5D0 multiplets in Eua＋-containing garnet structures. Quantum mechanical ＂mixing＂ had significant influence on quasi-degenerate states of the non-Kramers rare-earth Eu3＋ ion for Eu3GasOl2 in MCD due to forbidden MD transition 7F1→SD0 and for GdaGasOiE：EU3＋ in MCPL due to MD 4f→4f transition 5Do→7F1 and forced ED-transition 5Do→7F2. A parameterized Hamiltonian defined to operate within the entire 4f（6） ground electronic configuration of Eu3＋ ion was used to model the experimental Stark levels, including their irreducible rep- resentations and wavefunctions. The crystal-field parameters were determined through a Monte-Carlo method in which nine in- dependent crystal-field parameters, Bkq, were given random starting values and optimized using standard least-squares fitting between calculated and experimental levels. The final fitting standard deviation between 57 calculated-to-experimental levels was 0.73 meV.
