This paper analyzes the network of passes am.ng the players of the Spanish team.during the last FIFA World Cup 2010,where they em.rged as the cham.ion,with the objective of explaining the results obtained from.the behavior at the com.lex network *** team.is considered a network with players as nodes and passes as(directed) edges.A tem.oral analysis of the resulting passes network is also done,looking at the num.er of passes,length of the chain of passes,and to network m.asures such as player centrality and clustering *** of the last three m.tches(the decisive ones) indicate that the clustering coefficient of the pass network rem.ins high,indicating the elaborate style of the Spanish *** effectiveness of the opposing team.in negating the Spanish gam. is reflected in the change of several network m.asures over tim.,m.st im.ortantly in drops of the clustering coefficient and passing length/speed,as well as in their being able in rem.ving the m.st talented players from.the central positions of the ***'s ability to restore their com.inative gam. and m.ve the focus of the gam. to offensive positions and talented players is shown to tilt the balance in favor of the Spanish team.

A new ferritic creep resistant steel has been developed by elim.nating Nb and adding 1.5 m.ss % Re to a ferritic steel grade T/P23 with the aim.of enhancing its m.chanical properties at high *** ingots of both steels, new grade and ASTm.T/P 23, were hot rolled at 900℃ and then subm.tted to a therm.l treatm.nt consisting of solubilization at 1050℃ and tem.ering at 700℃. Tem.ered bainitic m.crostructures obtained contain second phases reinforcing carbide particles, m.inly m.6C and m.（23）C_6 at the boundaries of both, prior austenite grains and bainitic ferrite laths, as well as m. within the grains. m.chanical properties at tem.eratures ranging from.540 to 600℃ were studied by strain-ratechange tests in com.ression at strain rates between 10^（-7） and 10^（-4）s^（-1）. These tests showed high stress exponents（n ≥ 20） and activation energies（Q ≈ 400 k J/m.l） for both alloys, which were associated with a dislocation m.vem.nt m.chanism.with a strong interaction between dislocations and precipitates. On the other hand, a creep exponent of 5 was derived for the stress dependence of m.nim.m.creep rate from.conventional-type creep tests at 600℃. Although this stress exponent is usually related to a dislocation clim. controlled creep m.chanism. rem.rkable m.crostructural degradation observed with increasing creep tim. m.kes difficult to elucidate the true deform.tion m.chanism.controlling creep.

Relieving network congestions is a critical goal for the safe and flexible operation of m.dern power system., especially in the presence of interm.ttent renewables or distributed generation. This paper deals with the real-tim. coordinated operation of distributed static series com.ensators(DSSCs) to rem.ve network congestions by suitable m.difications of the branch reactance. Several objective functions are considered and discussed to m.nim.ze the num.er of the devices involved in the control actions, the total losses or the total reactive power exchanged, leading to a non-convex m.xed-integer non-linear program.ing problem. Then, a heuristic m.thodology com.ining the solution of a regular NLP with k-m.ans clustering algorithm.is proposed to get rid of the binary variables, in an attem.t to reduce the com.utational cost. The proposed coordinated operation strategy of the DSSCs is tested on several benchm.rk system., providing feasible and sufficiently optim.l solutions in a reasonable tim. fram. for practical system..
