The stomatognathic system (SS) is a functional unit of the body that depends on the balance of several tissues. It consists of various structures, including the temporomandibular joint. Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) can occur due to alterations in the SS. The Fonseca Anamnestic Index (FAI) is a scale used to evaluate and to characterize the TMD Type: no DTM, mild, moderate and severe. The aim is to evaluate the prevalence of signs and symptoms related to TMD in university students of the Parque das Rosas Campus, Universidade Estácio de Sá that practice sports. This investigation was approved (CAAE number 325678413.9.0000.5284). Two hundred eighth students (110 male and 98 female, aged 19 - 35 years) accepted to be in this investigation. All the participants answered a General Questionnaire (GQ) and the FAI. The GQ had questions about the age, sex and the presence of TMD. The FAI was used. A statistical difference (p > 0.05) was not found about the presence of TMD. Among the female, an elevated number of the students with signal or symptoms related to the temporomandibular with statistic significance (p bserved. In the population without TMD, the prevalence of this disorder is higher between male than female. Considering the FAI, among the female students, there is a prevalence of the Mild Type. Considering the evaluation of the type of TMD among the male and female students no difference was found between male and female to the types mild and moderate, however, the prevalence of the severe Type is higher in female than in male with statistical significance. In conclusion, TMD is a relevant clinical condition with an important prevalence among the university students. Moreover, the type of the TMD could be considered due to prevalence of the Type Severe among the women.

The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of the application of different sources and doses of nitrogen(N)in the growth and productivity of sugarcane in cane *** experiments were conducted in the area of Rio Paraiso II farm,belonging to the Raízen factory,in the city of Jataí,*** soil was classified as dystrophic red *** experimental design used was in randomized block,analysed in factorial scheme of 2×4×4,with three *** factors analysed were two sources of N(urea and ammonium nitrate),four doses of N(0,60,120 and 180 kg/ha)and four evaluation times(210,250,290 and 330 d after planting(DAP)).The parameters analysed were plant height(PH),diameter of stalks(DS),length of internodes(LI)and productivity of stalks(PS).Results observed significant difference in the sources and doses of N for the evaluated parameters in sugarcane *** in the average doses of 110 kg/ha and 100.87 kg/ha provided the greatest PH and LI of sugarcane,*** nitrate at a dose of 180 kg/ha presented the largest DS of sugarcane(cane plant)at 330 *** PS of sugarcane SP80-1816 at 60 kg/ha and 120 kg/ha ammonium nitrate has higher *** the PS,it is recommended the application of doses between 60 kg/ha and 120 kg/ha of N of the source ammonium nitrate in sugar cane(cane plant).

Polylactide (PLA) is an emerging material mainly because it can be synthesized from renewable resources and is thus environmentally and ecologically safe. In this study, composites of PLA and talc were prepared by melt-blending technique, using a twin screw extruder. The influence of talc content on the rheological properties of pure PLA and its composites were evaluated. Dynamic rheological tests show that the incorporation of talc particles into PLA decreased system viscosity due to the filler"s lubricant effect. However, as talc content increased, system"s viscosity tended also to increase and materials with higher elastic behavior were produced, further with a higher plastic behavior in relation to pure PLA. This behavior can be observed by SEM micrographs.

This paper presents a methodology for analytical calculation and computational simulation using the finite element method for piezoresistive graphite sensor element on flexible polymer substrate,A4 *** computer simulation aims to find the region of greatest mechanical tension and deflection of the circular diaphragm set in the circumference *** steps for simulation are geometry definition,mesh generation,inclusion of material physical properties and simulation *** mathematical modeling of maximum mechanical stress and deflection is described analytically and *** analytical calculations were compared with the computer simulation and presented a relative percentage error of 3.38%for the maximum *** results show that the piezoresistor should be positioned at the edges of the circular diaphragm to take advantage of maximum mechanical stress by defining the best location for graphite film deposition for sensor device designs and fabrications.

AIM:To analyze the role of rs12979860 and rs8099917polymorphisms in hepatitis C virus(HCV)genotype 1infection of ***:A total of 145 adult patients diagnosed with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C(CHC)who had completed a 48-wk regimen of pegylated-interferonα-2a or-2b plus ribavirin combination therapy were recruited from six large urban healthcare centers and199 healthy blood donors(controls)from a single site between January 2010 and January *** on the patients’response to treatment was *** chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism genotyping of the interleukin(IL)28b gene fragment encompassing the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)rs12979860(C/T)and rs8099917(T/G)was carried out for 79 of the CHC patients and 199 of the ***-directional amplicon sequencing of the two SNPs was carried out for the remaining 66 CHC ***:SNP rs12979860 genotyping was successful in 99.5%of the controls and 97.2%of the CHC patients,whereas the SNP rs8099917 genotyping was successful in 95.5%of the controls and 100%of the CHC *** genotype and allele distributions for both rs12979860 and rs8099917 were significantly different between the control and CHC patient groups,with significantly higher genotype frequencies of CC and TT in the controls(P=0.037 and 0.046,respectively)and of TT and GG in the CHC patients(P=0.0009and 0.0001,respectively).Analysis of the CHC patients who achieved sustained virological response(SVR)to treatment(n=55)indicated that the rs12979860 C allele and CC genotype were predictors of SVR(P=0.02).No significant correlation was found between rs8099917 genotypes and treatment response,but carriers of the T allele showed significantly higher rates of SVR(P=0.02).Linkage disequilibrium analysis of the group that achieved SVR showed a significant association between rs12979860 and rs8099917(P=0.07).CONCLUSION:The higher allele frequency of rs12979860 C and rs8099917 T observed in non-HCVinfec
