This paper presents a methodology for analytical calculation and computational simulation using the finite element method for piezoresistive graphite sensor element on flexible polymer substrate,A4 *** computer simulation aims to find the region of greatest mechanical tension and deflection of the circular diaphragm set in the circumference *** steps for simulation are geometry definition,mesh generation,inclusion of material physical properties and simulation *** mathematical modeling of maximum mechanical stress and deflection is described analytically and *** analytical calculations were compared with the computer simulation and presented a relative percentage error of 3.38%for the maximum *** results show that the piezoresistor should be positioned at the edges of the circular diaphragm to take advantage of maximum mechanical stress by defining the best location for graphite film deposition for sensor device designs and fabrications.

The life of electronic equipment is becoming increasingly shorter and its replacement always generates a quantity of waste increase, giving rise to a problem of environmental character and still needed new options of solid waste management that will contribute to global sustainable development. Parts of these waste are TCI （the card＇s printed circuit） which containing dangerous elements and turns them into a polluting material from the soil, water and air, being harmful to human health if there is to proper and responsible way, so the recycling of TCI to obtain precious metals is an example of industrial materials that can be recycled. Despite this, large quantities of these are not recycled and some others are not considered. The objective of this work is to present a systematic and ecological methodology for the recovery of valuable materials contained in parts of used in computers, circuit boards using a leaching process. The method determines a set of variables to evaluate the kinetics of the reaction and the leaching of metals that form the substrate of metal and to establish the parameters that affect the rate of leaching of metals through a sensitivity analysis, to identify design alternatives. It determines the quantity and percentages that constitutes the motherboard, processor, video cards, accelerator graphics, network and memory cards ram, among others and its content of metals such as Cu, Fe, Ag, Au and Pt.

Entire Whitening of Apple Trees to Increase Chill Units in Regions of Warm Temperatures during the Fall-Winter seasons

Different studies have shown that global warming and climate change have increased the planet’s temperature in different locations. For the apple-growing farmers, this may have a negative impact on the accumulations of chill units when the air temperature during the fall-winter season increases. When the entire trees are covered with a reflective material, the wood temperature may decrease. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of whitening (with calcium hydroxide) the entire apple trees (Malus domestica Borkh) after defoliation, on the branches and trunks’ internal temperature (under the bark), the accumulation of chill units (CU), its effects on fruit yield and quality and the relation with the use of thidiazuron (TDZ) (inducer of budbreak). The study was conducted during the fall-winter seasons of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. The results of this study showed that at the hours of the highest incidence of solar radiation, the internal temperature of the whitened trunks and leaves decreases up to 9°C and 6°C respectively. The accumulated CU during the time of the study, of the whitened branches were up to 81% higher than the ones recorded on the branches with no whitening;while the CU was lost at the hours of highest solar radiation (due to a high temperature) were up to 37.2% smaller. Entire tree whitening increased up to 26% of the yield per tree compared to the application of TDZ. No statistical difference in fruit quality was observed between whitened trees and those with no whitening but with the application of thidiazuron.

Background: Ischiorectal Fossa Tumors are rare and their management has not been protocolized. Patients: We retrospectively review four consecutive cases treated in our department, from January 2015 to July 2015. All of them were discussed in a multidisciplinary team meeting. None of them were secondary to an inflammatory process. Results: A Magnetic Resonance Imaging was performed in all the four patients, and as it was not a malignant diagnosis made in any of them, we proceeded to resecate the lesions. None biopsies were performed and the benign diagnoses were confirmed by the pathologist. All the patients underwent a local posterior or perineal approach, because all the lesions (epidermoid cyst, hamartoma, lipoma and an aggressive angiomyxoma) were localized purely in the ischiorectal fossa, under the levator ani muscle and not invading any adjacent structures. In all of them, an R0 resection was performed. Conclusions: Ischiorectal fossa tumors are rare and there are few cases already published. Non-inflammatory lesions located in the ischiorectal fossa, with none invasion of rectum or levator ani muscle, are mainly benign lesions prone to their complete excision by a posterior approach. Biopsy is not always necessary unless there’s a suspicion of a malignancy or invasion of adjacent structures, and only in that case a biopsy should be made, because in some of them, a neo-adjuvant treatment can be useful to reduce the tumor and to perform an R0 resection.

The study of asthma in fertile women needs to consider its potentially recurrent exacerbation in a specific phase of the menstrual cycle. Premenstrual asthma(PMA)refers to the deterioration of asthma in some women of fertile age during the premenstrual phase. Prevalence varies considerably according to studies(11%-47.44%) mainly because there is no standardized definition of the illness. There is a possible link between PMA and premenstrual syndrome, which is a set of physical and psychic manifestations that occur in some fertile women during the same premenstrual phase. This relation has been widely studied but there are still several unknowns. PMA etiopathogeny is not known. It involves possible causes such as hormonal variations in the premenstrual phase, the coexistence of atopy, variations during the cycle in substances related to inflammation, like LTC4 leukotrienes, catecholamines, E2 and F2α prostaglandins and certain cytokines. Also considered are psychological factors related to this phase of the menstrual cycle, a high susceptibility to infection or increased bronchial hyperreactivity prior to menstruation. Yet no factor fully explains its etiology, consequently no specific treatment exists. Researchers have investigated hormones, antileukotrienes, prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors, diuretics, phytoestrogens and alternative therapies, but none has been shown to be effective.

Euplatypus segnis is an insect pest of economic importance in pecan (Carya illinoensis) trees grown at Parras, General Cepeda and Torreón Coahuila, Mexico. The objectives in this study-were to identify the fungal strains associated to ambrosia borer body and diseased pecan wood and determine their pathogenicity. The results showed that the associated fungi to Euplatypus segnis and damaging the pecan wood were identified as: Helminthosporium sp., Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Phoma sp., Ascochyta sp., Phaecylomices sp., Umbeliopsis sp., Torula sp., Fusarium solani, Alternaria alternata, Fusarum oxysporum, and Lasiodiplodia theobromae. The pathogenicity tests on healthy 3 year old pecan trees cv. western using Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium solani, Alternaria alternata and Lasiodiplodia theobromae suspension conidia shown die back tree branches after 84 days inoculation. The insect in combination with the fungal invasion eventually cause the death of trees. Additionally, the insect contributes to the spread of fungi in pecan nut orchards.

small cell lung cancer(sCLC)accounts for approximately 20%of all lung *** main treatment is chemotherapy(Ch).However,the addition of radiotherapy significantly improves overall survival(Os)in patients with non-metastatic sCLC and in those with metastatic sCLC who respond to *** cranial irradiation reduces the risk of brain metastases and improves Os in both metastatic and non-metastatic *** 5-year Os rate in patients with limited-stage disease(non-metastatic)is slightly higher than 30%,but less than 5%in patients with extensive-stage disease(metastatic).The present clinical guidelines were developed by spanish radiation oncologists on behalf of the Oncologic Group for the study of Lung Cancer/spanish society of Radiation Oncology to provide a current review of the diagnosis,planning,and treatment of *** guidelines emphasise treatment fields,radiation techniques,fractionation,concomitant treatment,and the optimal timing of Ch and ***,we discuss the main indications for reirradiation in local recurrence.
