目的反复喘息患者多为2岁以下的婴幼儿。在热带国家,对该人群住院期间接受呼吸支持治疗的风险的临床预测模型研究较少。该研究旨在评估就诊于哥伦比亚急诊科的反复喘息婴幼儿需要住院并接受呼吸支持治疗的临床预测因素。方法该研究是一项回顾性队列研究,纳入了2019年1~12月期间在哥伦比亚Rionegro的两个三级中心医院就诊的所有患有2次或2次以上喘息发作的婴幼儿(年龄均小于2岁)。主要结局指标是住院加呼吸支持治疗。采用多因素logistic回归模型确定需要住院并接受呼吸支持治疗的独立预测因素。结果共85名婴幼儿住院并接受呼吸支持治疗,其中34名(40%)予以高流量鼻导管吸氧,2名(2%)予以无创通气,6名(7%)予以机械通气,43名(51%)予以常规氧疗。多因素logistic回归模型分析显示,早产(OR=1.79,95%CI:1.04~3.10)、喂养困难(OR=2.22,95%CI:1.25~3.94)、鼻煽和/或咕噜声(OR=4.27,95%CI:2.41~7.56)和既往有1次以上喘息发作需要住院治疗(OR=3.36,95%CI:1.86~7.08)是需要住院并接受呼吸支持治疗的预测因素。该模型特异度高(99.6%),鉴别度中等,曲线下面积为0.70(95%CI:0.60~0.74)。结论该研究表明,早产、喂养困难、鼻煽和/或呼噜声,以及有1次以上需要住院治疗的喘息发作史,是急诊科就诊的反复喘息婴幼儿需要住院并接受呼吸支持治疗的独立预测因素。然而,还需收集更多的其他热带国家的证据来验证这个结论。

Due to growing consumption of Portland cement and high levels of CO_(2) emissions in its production process,this study examined the use of Brazilian RHS(rice husk silica)obtained by FBC(fluidized bed combustion)as an alternative material in concrete production;the principal cause is the inappropriate disposal of carbonized or in natura rice husk in southern *** analyze its feasibility,concretes made with several types of cements were examined combined with RHS,and also concretes with different strength classes employing a slag-based binder featuring a smaller amount of clinker in its *** and scanning electron microscopy assays were carried out to verify formation of C-S-H and calcium hydroxide in the cement *** study concludes that replacing 10%of Portland cement(CEMIII/A)by 3%of RHS can result in a cost reduction of around 5%and allows a reduction of 4%in CO_(2)eq *** this way,RHS from renewable sources can be a highly impactful sustainable alternative in civil engineering work,allowing the concrete industry to produce environmentally-sound concrete mixtures with lower CO_(2) emissions.

本研究的题目是“莫桑比克马普托小学生成绩的影响因素研究”,旨在探讨影响小学生学业成绩的因素。研究试图回答以下问题:“影响马普托小学生的成绩的因素有哪些”,“教师薪水对小学生成绩有何影响”和“采取了什么样的行动来提高学生成绩”。研究方法为定量研究,采用问卷调查、观察和文本分析收集数据,数据分析使用描述性统计。调查对象包括来自马普托省的13所小学（从城市和农村地区随机选择）的307位受访者（教师和校长）,然而在研究结束之前,只有176位受访者提交了完成的问卷,研究据此展开。本研究的局限性来自于以下原因:研究实际样本量低于原定样本量40%,且其中不包括学生。研究结果表明,多重因素影响了马普托省的教学:师生比例、教学计划、师生出勤率和守时度、教师多校教学、教学方法和材料、教师质量、腐败、童工、教室条件以及校长的经常性旷工。研究建议:改进教师培训,为选择教师培训的候选人提供新标准,例如:上一级的最低积分（12级）14分和候选人书写能力评估;对本研究进行补充研究,以评估现有教室（无论是否处于正常状态）的数量,以帮助进行修复或建设和设备装配;实施灵活机制来帮助简化加班津贴的支付;修订教师工资或增设增加收入的激励措施;重新审查当前法律,避免在不符合所需最低技能的情况下升级的可能性;强化教学监督（应该在课堂上也开展,不应仅在考试期间进行）;最后,引入强制性学龄前教育。

BACKGROUND: Long QT syndrome(LQTS) is a heterogeneous syndrome that may be congenital or, more frequently, acquired. The real-world prevalence of acquired LQTS(aLQTS) in the emergency department(ED) remains to be determined. The aim of this study was to determine prevalence of aLQTS and its impact on symptoms on ED ***: Electrocardiograms(ECG) of 5,056 consecutively patients admitted in the ED of a tertiary hospital between January 28th and March 17th of 2020 were reviewed. All patients with aLQTS were included. Clinical data with a focus on QT prolonging drugs and clinical factors were recorded. Statistical comparison was made between the groups with and without corrected QT(QTc) interval greater than 500 ms(value that is considered severely increased).RESULTS: A total of 383 ECGs with prolonged QTc were recognized, corresponding to a prevalence of aLQTS at admission of 7.82%. Patients with aLQTS were more commonly men(53.3%) with an age of(73.49±14.79) years old and QTc interval of(505.3±32.4) ms. Only 20.4% of these patients with aLQTS were symptomatic. No ventricular arrhythmias were recorded. Patients with QT interval greater than 500 ms were more frequently female(59.5%;P<0.001) and were more frequently on QT prolonging drugs(77.3%;P=0.025). Main contributing factor was intake of antibiotics(odds ratio [OR] 4.680) followed by female gender(OR 2.473) and intake of antipsychotics(OR 1.925).CONCLUSION: aLQTS is particularly prevalent in the ED. Female patients on antibiotics and antipsychotics are at particularly high risk. Efforts must be made to avoid, detect and treat aLQTS as early as possible.

Ni/Carbon was prepared in two steps： initially cellulose as carbon source and NiCl2·6H2O as catalyst of the carbonization process were submitted to hydrothermal treatment at 200 ℃ and further to thermal treatment at 900 ℃ under argon atmosphere. The obtained material contains Ni nanoparticles with face-centered cubic （fcc） structure dispersed on amorphous carbon with graphitic domains. PtRu/C electrocatalysts （carbon- supported PtRu nanoparticles） were prepared by an alcohol-reduction process using Ni/Carbon as support. The materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and tested as anodes in single direct methanol fuel cell （DMFC）. The performances of PtRu/C electrocatalysts using Ni/Carbon as support were superior to those obtained for PtRu/C using commercial carbon black Vulcan XC72 as support.

Chronic wounds affect around 2% of the world population with an annual multi-billion dollar cost to the healthcare system. This background pushes the development of new therapies and procedures for wound healing and its assessment. Among them, the potential of hydrogen(pH) assessment is an important indicator of the wound healing stage and condition. This paper presents the development of the first optical fiber-embedded smart wound dressing for pH assessment. An intrinsically pH-sensitive optical fiber is fabricated using a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) precursor doped with rhodamine B dye. Raman and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopies are performed in order to verify the presence of rhodamine B and PDMS in the fiber samples. Then, the fiber is embedded in gauze fabric and hydrocolloid wound dressing. In addition, such low Young’s modulus of PDMS fiber enables its use as a highly sensitive pressure sensor, where the results show that the fiber-embedded bandage can measure pressures as low as 0.1 kPa with a high linearity in the range of 0 to 0.3 kPa. The smart bandage is subjected to different pH, which resulted in a wavelength shift of 0.67 nm/pH when the absorption peak at 515 nm was analyzed. Furthermore, pH increase leads to linear decrease of the transmitted optical power(R2 of 0.998), with rise and fall times below 20 s and 30 s, respectively. Therefore, the proposed optical fiber-embedded smart bandage enables the simultaneous assessment of pressure and pH on the wound region.

The acute phase response (APR) is the reaction that occurs in animals in response to disturbances in hemostasis following tissue damage. In horses, the APR is manifested in a variety of pathological processes of various origins, such as infections caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, arthritis, burns, chemicals, trauma surgery and stress. Acute phase proteins (APPs) are considered those proteins that modify its plasma concentration at least 25% in inflammatory and infectious processes. In adult horses, various respiratory inflammatory processes, gastrointestinal tract, reproductive organs and musculoskeletal system are accompanied by increased levels of a specific APP, so-called serum amyloid type A (SAA). SAA is the most important major APP in the horse. This paper provides a review of physiological factors affecting SAA levels and their role in horses in defense of natural mechanisms, the pathways involved and their material components.

A mathematical model capable of providing a forecast of future consumption and import of natural gas is essential for the planning of the Brazilian energy matrix. The aim of this study is to compare three mathematical models, logistic model or model of Verhulst, exponential model or the model of Malthus and the model of von Bertalanffy to analyze the possibilities of these models to describe the evolution of production, import and consumption of natural gas in Brazil, from data provided by the energy balance of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) from 1970 to 2009. A projection of the production and the import of natural gas up to 2017 is made with the models studied in this article and compared with the Brazilian Ten-Year Plan for Expansion of Energy (PDE). At the end of this paper a comparison with the Hubbert model for Brazilian natural gas production is made. These data were adjusted to use the differential equations which describe the models of population growth. All the computer work used in this article: graphics, resolution of differential equations, calculations of linearization and the least squares fitting was prepared in the software MatLab. The results obtained by means of graphs show that the population dynamics models (logistic, exponential and von Bertalanffy) can be applied in modeling the production, import and consumption of natural gas in Brazil.
