This research aims to study the bio-adsorption process of two dyes,cibacron Green H3G(cG-H3G)and Terasil Red(TR),in a single system and to bring them closer to the industrial textile discharge by a binary mixture of two dyes(TR+cG-H3G).The cockle Shell(cS)was used as a natural *** characterizations of cS were investigated by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)and brunauer–Emmett–Teller(bET).The adsorption potential of cockle Shells was tested in two cases(single and binary system)and determined by:contact time(0–60 min),bio-adsorption dose(3–15 g/L),initial concentration(10–300 mg/L),temperature(22–61°c)and pH solution(2–12).The study of bio-adsorption(equilibrium and kinetics)was conducted at 22°*** kinetic studies demon-strated that a pseudo-second-order adsorption mechanism had a good correlation coefﬁcient(R2≥0.999).The Langmuir isotherm modeling provided a well-deﬁned description of TR and cG-H3G bio-adsorption on cockle shells,exhibiting maximum capacities of 29.41 and 3.69 mg/g respectively at 22°*** thermodynamic study shows that the reaction between the TR,cG-H3G dyes molecules and the bio-adsorbent is exothermic,spontaneous in the range of 22–31°c with the aleatory character decrease at the solid-liquid *** study of selectivity in single and binary systems has been performed under optimal operating conditions using the industrial textile rejection pH(pH=6.04).cG-H3G dye is found to have a higher selectivity than TR in single(0–60 min)and binary systems with a range of 6–45 min,as shown by the selectivity *** was discovered that cS has the capability to remove both cG-H3G and TR dyes in both simple and binary systems,making it a superior bio-adsorbent.

The experimental analysis takes too much time-consuming process and requires considerable effort, while, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithms are simple, affordable, and fast, and they allow us to make a relevant analysis in establishing an appropriate relationship between the input and output parameters. This paper deals with the use of back-propagation ANN algorithms for the experimental data of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor of water-based Fe 3 O 4 -TiO 2 magnetic hybrid nanofluids in a mini heat sink under magnetic fields. The data considered for the ANN network is at different Reynolds numbers (239 to 1874), different volume concentrations (0% to 2.0%), and different magnetic fields (250 to 1000 G), respectively. Three types of ANN back-propagation algorithms Levenberg-Marquardt (LM), broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno Quasi Newton (bFGS), and Variable Learning Rate Gradient Descent (VLGD) were used to train the heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor data, respectively. The ANOVA t -test analysis was also performed to determine the relative accuracy of the three ANN algorithms. The Nusselt number of 2.0% vol. of Fe 3 O 4 -TiO 2 hybrid nanofluid is enhanced by 38.16% without a magnetic field, and it is further enhanced by 88.93% with the magnetic field of 1000 Gauss at a Reynolds number of 1874, with respect to the base fluid. A total of 126 datasets of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor were used as input and output data. The three ANN algorithms of LM, bFGS, and VLGD, have shown good acceptance with the experimental data with root-mean-square errors of 0.34883, 0.25341, and 1.0202 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99954, 0.9967, and 0.94501, respectively, for the Nusselt number data. Moreover, the three ANN algorithms predict root-mean-square errors of 0.001488, 0.005041, and 0.006924 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99982, 0.99976, and 0.99486, respect

Nothofagus alessandrii forests in the Mediterranean region of chile face significant threats from deforestation, fragmentation, wildfires, and climate change. This study investigated the temporal and spatial dynamics of N. alessandrii populations and their implications for habitat fragmentation and connectivity. Using remote sensing data and geographic information system analysis, we assessed deforestation patterns, fragmentation metrics, and connectivity indices for different scenarios between 2009 and 2022. A reduction in the N. alessandrii forest area, extensive fragmentation, and decreased connectivity were observed over time, with wildfires exacerbating these trends. Reforestation simulations showed the potential of targeted restoration efforts to improve connectivity, especially when focusing on proximate patches. However, careful consideration of seed dispersal distances and wildfire risk is essential for effective reforestation planning. Overall, our findings underscore the urgent need for conservation interventions to preserve N. alessandrii forests and their biodiversity in chile's coastal mountain ecosystems. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential to ensure the survival of these forests for future generations.

This article aims to deepen the understanding of the role of Helicobacter pylori(***)infection in the development of cholelithiasis,initiated by the article by Yao et al,who investigated the potential link between *** infection and the development of cholelithiasis through a multicenter retrospective study on an Asian population of over 70000 *** also performed a compre-hensive analysis of previously published studies on *** and cholelithiasis,finding a positive association therein[odds ratio(OR)=1.103,P=0.049].Patients positive for *** also had lower levels of total and direct bilirubin,but higher levels of total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol compared to uninfected patients(Pcohort studies have confirmed that *** is a risk factor for cholelithiasis(Pcase-control and cross-sectional studies have shown a positive association between *** and cholelithiasis in Asia(OR=1.599,P=0.034),but not in Europe(OR=1.277,P=0.246).Moreover,*** appears to be related to a higher ratio of choledocho-lithiasis/cholecystolithiasis(OR=3.321,P=0.033).The authors conclude that *** infection is positively correlated with cholelithiasis,particularly with the choledocholithiasis phenotype,especially in Asia,and it is potentially related to bilirubin and cholesterol metabolism.

bAcKGROUND The cAR-OLT score predicts major adverse cardiovascular events 1 year after liver transplant(LT).AIM To test the hypothesis that the cAR-OLT score may help avoid cardiac stress tests in LT *** This retrospective single-center cohort study included all adult patients undergoing elective evaluation for first cadaveric donor orthotopic LT for liver cirrhosis with or without hepatocellular carcinoma at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli Istituto di Ricerca e cura a carattere Scientifico in Rome,*** contraindications for LT listing were defined after a center-specific cardiac workup,which included cardiac stress tests for most *** diagnostic accuracy of the cAR-OLT score was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic(AUROc)*** A total of 342 LT candidates were evaluated between 2015 and 2019,with a moderate cardiovascular risk profile(37%diabetes,34%hypertension,22%obesity).Of these,80(23%)candidates underwent coronary ***-one(6%)candidates were given cardiac contraindications to LT listing,48%of which were due to coronary artery *** cAR-OLT score predicted cardiac contraindications to LT listing with an AUROc of *** optimal cut-off for sensitivity was a cAR-OLT score≤23,which showed a 99%negative predictive value for cardiac contraindications to LT listing.A total of 84(25%)LT candidates with a cAR-OLT score≤23 underwent 87 non-invasive cardiac tests and 13 coronary angiographies pre-listing,with estimated costs of approximately 48000€.The estimated savings per patient was€574.70 for the Italian National Health *** A cAR-OLT score≤23 can identify LT candidates who can be safely listed without the need for cardiac stress tests,providing time and cost *** findings require external validation.
