A tripartite evolutionary game analysis of providing subsidies for pick-up/drop-off strategy in carpooling problem

Although the pick-up/drop-off(PUDO)strategy in carpooling offers the convenience of short-distance walking for passengers during boarding and disembarking,there is a noticeable hesitancy among commuters to adopt this travel method,despite its numerous ***,this paper establishes a tripartite evolutionary game theory(EGT)model to verify the evolutionary stability of choosing the PUDO strategy of drivers and passengers and offering subsidies strategy of carpooling platforms in carpooling *** model presented in this paper serves as a valuable tool for assessing the dissemination and implementation of PUDO strategy and offering subsidies strategy in carpooling ***,an empirical analysis is conducted to examine and compare the sensitivity of the parameters across various *** findings suggest that:firstly,providing subsidies to passengers and drivers,along with deductions for drivers through carpooling platforms,is an effective way to promote wider adoption of the PUDO ***,the decision-making process is divided into three stages:initial stage,middle stage,and mature *** strategy progresses from initial rejection to widespread acceptance among drivers in the middle stage and,in the mature stage,both passengers and drivers tend to adopt it under carpooling platform subsidies;the factors influencing the costs of waiting and walking times,as well as the subsidies granted to passengers,are essential determinants that require careful consideration by passengers,drivers,and carpooling platforms when choosing the PUDO *** work provides valuable insight into the PUDO strategy’s applicability and the declared results provide implications for traffic managers and carpooling platforms to offer a suitable incentive.

One-pot Synthesis,Crystal Structures and Antimicrobial Activities of Two New 1,4-Disubstituted 1,2,3-Triazole-4-Carboxylates

Two new 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles-4-carboxylates were synthesized via click reaction. Compound 1a was synthesized by the interaction of 6-nitro-tetrazolo[1.5-a]-pyridine with ethyl propynoate at room temperature in the presence of Cu（OAc）2 as a catalyst and THF as solvent. Compound 1b was also synthesized by the same manner except that tert-butyl propionate, instead of ethyl propynoate, was used. The compounds were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1a（C10H9N5O4） crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 5.0894（9）, b = 8.9834（13）, c = 13.089（2）？, α= 83.041（7）, β= 80.256（7）, γ=87.296（8）°, V = 585.24（16）？3, Z = 2, Mr = 263.22, crystal size（mm） = 0.37 × 0.20 ×0.18,（I 〉 2σ（I）） = 8557, 2493, 1229, Rint = 0.057. Compound 1b（C12H13N5O4） crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 6.8854（5）, b = 21.783（2）, c = 9.3986（8）？,β = 93.239（4）°, V = 1407.4（2）？3, Z = 4, Mr = 291.27, crystal size（mm） = 0.38 × 0.22 × 0.20,（I 〉 2σ（I）） = 11842, 3172, 1866, Rint = 0.047. Antimicrobial assay results showed that the title compounds display excellent activities to different bacterial and fungal strains.

A new compound 3-（2-（3,5-diphenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl）thiazol-4-yl）-2Hchromen-2-one was synthesized by cyclocondensation of 3,5-diphenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazole-1-carbothioamide with 3-（2-bromoacetyl）-2H-chromen-2-one in ethanol at reflux for 2hrs. The compound was characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The newly synthesized compound（C27H19N3O2S） crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 5.2476（6）, b = 18.289（2）, c = 23.115（3） , α = 93.546（7）, β = 94.715（6）, γ = 92.347（7）°, V = 2204.3（4）3, Z = 4, Mr = 449.51, crystal size = 0.38 mm × 0.22 mm × 0.16 mm,（I 2σ（I）） = 35317, 9736, 3785, Rint = 0.081,（Δρ）max = 0.19 and（Δρ）min = –0.24 e·-3. DNA interaction studies revealed that the target compound strongly interacts with DNA through an intercalation binding mode and the binding constant of the compound is 7.45 × 104 M-1.

A significant increase in the number of coronavirus cases can easily be noticed in most of the countries around the *** of the consistent preventive initiatives being taken to contain the spread of this virus,the unabated increase in the cases is both alarming and *** role of mathematical models in predicting and estimating the spread of the virus,and identifying various preventive factors dependencies has been found important and effective in most of the previous pandemics like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome(SARS)*** this research work,authors have proposed the Susceptible-Infectected-Removed(SIR)model variation in order to forecast the pattern of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)spread for the upcoming eight weeks in perspective of Saudi *** study has been performed by using SIR model with a proposed simplification using average progression for further estimation ofβandγvalues for better curve fittings *** predictive results of this study clearly show that under the current public health interventions,there will be an increase in the COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia in the next four ***,a set of strong health primitives and precautionary measures are recommended in order to avoid and prevent the further spread of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia.

Prediction for nonlinear time series by improved deep echo state network based on reservoir states reconstruction

With the aim to enhance prediction accuracy for nonlinear time series,this paper put forward an improved deep Echo State Network based on reservoir states reconstruction driven by a Self-Normalizing Activation(SNA)function as the replacement for the traditional Hyperbolic tangent activation function to reduce the model’s sensitivity to *** Strategy was implemented in a two-state reconstruction process byfirst inputting the time series data to the model ***,the time data passes through the reservoirs and is activated by the SNA activation function,the new state for the reservoirs is *** state is input to the next layer,and the concatenate states module *** of states are selected from the activated multi-layer reservoirs and input into the state reconstruction *** input states are transformed through the state reconstruction module andfinally saved to the concatenate state *** evaluation metrics were used to benchmark against three other ESNs with SNA activation functions to achieve better prediction accuracy.

Citrus peel extract and powder attenuate hypercholesterolemia and hyperglycemia using rodent experimental modeling

Objective: To investigate hypocholesterolemic and hypoglycemic potential of citrus peel extract and powder using rodent experimental ***: Considering the fact, rat feeding trial was carried out for a period of 56 d to access the prophylaxis of citrus peel flavonoids by employing normal(study Ⅰ),hyperglycemic(study Ⅱ) and hypercholesterolemic(study Ⅲ) rats. Each study was further divided into three groups to ensure the provision of selected diets, i.e.,control, functional and nutraceutical diets. Each study was further divided into three groups to ensure the provision of selected diets, i.e., control, functional and nutraceutical ***: Declining trend for total cholesterol was observed in all studies with maximum reduction(8.55%) in rat group fed on nutraceutical diet in study Ⅲ. Likewise, levels of low density lipoproteins and triglycerides reduced 11.39% and 7.89% respectively in hypercholesterolemic rats. Moreover, nutraceutical diet alleviated the sera glucose level by 8.96% in study Ⅱ.Conclusions: Conclusively, inclusion of citrus peel bioflavonoids in dietary therapies is a promising strategy to modulate lipidemic and glycemic attributes without imparting any deleterious effect on hematological parameters.

The presence of water molecules in the air can impact how super cool broadband radiative coolers *** humidity in the lower atmosphere traps infrared radiation,reducing heat sent back to outer *** this study,a mesoscale urban climate model is used to evaluate the newly developed super cool materials with broadband emissivity not selective in atmospheric window as an arsenal for urban heat management of tropical wet and dry cities like *** results suggest that the energy balance over urban domain has substantially been altered by the city scale deployment of super cool broadband radiative cooling materials on the building *** ratio and evaporative fraction values were found decreasing and increasing,respectively with a positive directional polynomial(R2=0.968)relationship,after the implementation of super cool broadband radiative cooling materials and in comparison,to the unmitigated *** high solar hour(14:00 LT),additional thermal variables of urban domain such as 2 m air temperature,surface skin temperature,urban canopy temperature,and roof surface temperature decrease by 2.3℃,5.4℃,0.8℃,and 31.7℃,*** super cool broadband materials achieve sub-ambient temperatures up to 11.7℃during peak hours,reduce surface wind speed by 2.5 m s−1,and lower the planetary boundary layer by 1475 *** average daytime drop is approximately 7.3℃,and at night,it is close to 2.4℃.Deployment induces a“regional high”over urban areas,disrupting sea breeze onset and lowering the planetary boundary ***,an optimal cooling performance for super cool broadband radiative coolers can be achieved in lower humidity conditions,as their efficiency decreases with increased *** needing further investigation,these findings of nano-science-based super cool broadband materials offer valuable insights for policymakers and urban planners addressing thermal management in densely packed tropical urban environments.

Jamun (Syzygium cumini) seed and fruit extract attenuate hyperglycemia in diabetic rats

To evaluate the potential of both jamun (Syzygium cumini) seed and fruit extracts against *** Sprague Dawley rats were used to evaluate hypoglycemic potential of jamun extracts. Purposely, jamun fruit and seed’s ethanolic extracts based diets were provided to normal and high sucrose diet induced hyperglycemic/diabetic rats for sixty days. The serum glucose and insulin levels were monitored at monthly intervals to evaluate hypoglycemic effect of jamun *** results of instant research depicted that both seed and fruit extracts reduce the blood glucose level significantly and also regulate the insulin levels in hyperglycemic rats. It was noted that jamun fruit extract attenuated serum glucose levels to 5.35% and 12.29% in normal and hyperglycemic rats, respectively; while insulin levels were improved by 2.82% and 6.19%, correspondingly. Whereas, jamun seed extract reduced glucose to 7.04% & 14.36% and showed 3.56% & 7.24% higher insulin levels in normal & hyperglycemic rats, *** present research revealed that both jamun fruit and seeds have potent prophylactic role against hyperglycemia. In this respect, diet based regimen may be tailored using jamun fruit/seed and their extracts to alleviate hyperglycemia.
