＜正＞Background: Therapeutic management and prevention of most solid tumors has been hampered by the lack of reliable biomarkers for early detection and treatment monitoring. Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma （HNSCC）, which represents the sixth most common cause of cancer deaths worldwide, is no exception. HNSCC development and progression is controlled by a complex interaction between the host, tumor cells, and tumor surrounding microenvironment supporting that a combination of markers is needed to identify a clinically useful biomarkers for early detection. In this presentation, I will summarize a comprehensive proteomic study for biomarker discovery using serum from mice bearing surgical specimens from patients with invasive and non - invasive HNSCC, as well as from conditioned cell culture medium from cancer cells isolated from matched tissues. The clinical implication of validated biomarkers will be ***: Oral squamous cell carcinomas, with distinct invasive phenotypes, and adjacent normal tissue were resected from human patients, subjected to microdissection to separate normal from cancer tissues and then transplanted orthotopic into tongues of RAG - 2/y（c） mice or used to establish matched cell lines. After a 20% weight loss, the mice were sacrificed by exsanguinations. Two distinct proteomic protocols were used to analyze the mouse serum. The first involved albumin depletion followed by two - dimensional gel electrophoresis and MALDI. The second arm utilized the same albumin depletion followed by multidimensional - protein - information - technology （ESI - LC and MS/MS）. The top candidate proteins, which were differentially expressed in the cancer bearing mice compared to matched controls were then validated by ELISA, Western blot and immunoconfocal assays, and immuno-histochemistry using serums versus cancer tissues and matched cancer cell lines. Lifetime Optimization via Network Sectoring in Cooperative Wireless Sensor Networks

Employing cooperative communication in multihop wireless sensor networks provides the network with significant energy efficiency. However, the lifetime of such a network is directly dependant upon the lifetime of each of its individual sections (or clusters). Ignoring the fact that those sections close to sink have to forward more data (their own data plus the data received from the previous sections) and hence die sooner with considering equal section sizes, leads to a sub-optimal lifetime. In this paper, we optimize the section sizes of a multihop cooperative WSN so that it maximizes the network lifetime. Simulation results demonstrate a significant lifetime enhancement for the proposed optimal sectoring.

Effects of probiotic bacteria on survival, growth and body composition of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) larvae fed diets with various fish meal

Objective:To compare the the effects of the diets containing various fish viscera meal and effects of probiotic bacteria(Lactobacillus sp.,Bifidobacterium *** Streptococcus sp.)on the growth,survival and carcass composition of rainbow trout ***:Twelve tanks consisting of triplicates for each treatment group were *** groups of rainbow trout(176 mg bodyweight)were fed with three diets formulated with viscera meal(VM)derived from common carp(Cyprinus carpio),or VM derived from mullet(Liza saliens and Liza auratus)or commercial diet with in-tank probiotic respectively,and three diets without probiotic 4 times a day at 5%to 6%of body weight for 45 *** trout larvae(average individual weight,176 mg)were randomly distributed with density of 4 fish/L into 18 fiberglass *** probiotic treatments a blend of selected bacteria at 104 CFU/mL were added into rearing tanks four times a *** the end of the 45-day experiment,growth performance,survival rates and carcass composition of larvae were ***:The results indicated that change to probiotic diets significantly affect growth and survival of rainbow trout larvae(P<0.05).Rainbow trout larvae fed with commercial diet with in-tank probiotics showed the highest survival rates(98%),total weight(2226 mg)and specific growth rates(7.16%/d)among treatment ***:VM derived from common carp can successfully replace more than half of marine fish meal in formulated diets for rainbow *** of in-tank blends of Lactobacillus sp.,Bifidobacterium *** Streptococcus sp.,can increase survival rates and specific growth rates in rainbow trout larvae.

Persistent alanine aminotransferase elevation among the general Iranian population: Prevalence and causes

AIM: To determine the prevalence and causes of persistently elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels among the general population in northern Iran. METHODS: A total of 2292 (1376 female, aged 18-75 year), were selected by systematic clustered random sampling from the cities and villages of Gonbad and Kalaleh in Golestan Province and invited to participate in the study. A comprehensive history regarding alcohol drinking and medication was taken. Body mass index (BMI), viral markers and ALT levels were measured. If ALT level was ≥ 40 U/L, it was rechecked twice within 6 mo. Those with ≥ 2 times elevation of ALT were considered as having persistently elevated ALT level. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was diagnosed based on evidence of fatty liver upon sonography and excluding other etiology. RESULTS: A total of 2049 (1351 female) patients participated in the study, 162 (7.9%) had elevated ALT level at the first measurement. Persistently elevated ALT level was detected in 64 (3.1%) participants, with51 (79.6%) with no obvious etiology, six (9.3%) with Hepatitis B, four (6.2%) with Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and three (4.6%) with alcoholic hepatitis. The prevalence of NAFLD and alcoholic hepatitis was 2.04% (42 patients) and 0.1% (three), respectively. There was correlation between NAFLD and male gender, overweight, diabetes and living in an urban area [odds ratio = 3.03 (95% CI: 1.6-5.72), 4.21 (95% CI: 1.83-9.68), 2.86 (95% CI: 1.05-7.79) and 2.04 (95% CI: 1.00-4.16) respectively]. CONCLUSION: NAFLD is the most common cause of persistently elevated serum ALT level among the general population of Iran.

Use of social media while driving from an orthopedic resident's perspective

Purpose:To investigate the orthopedic injuries sustained while driving and using social media on cellular phones from an orthopedic resident's ***:A total of 118 patients who presented with a history of road traffic accident secondary to social media usage and suffered from fractures were included in this cross-sectional *** patients were reported from October 2018 to April *** collected the data including the type of collision,type of social media usage during driving,location of injury,wearing of safety equipment's such as helmet and seat belt during ***:The mean age of patients was(34.86±12.73)(range 15-71)*** common types of accident on the basis of collision of vehicles were:car versus motorbike 45(38.1%),motorbike versus motorbike 28(23.7%),and motorbike versus pedestrian 22(18.6%).Most of the accidents(61,51.7%)occurred due to mistake of *** of them,44(37.3%)occurred on traffic signals,followed by 29(24.6%)while driving on main *** common timing of accident was normal hours with frequency of 44(37.3%),followed by 39(33.1%)at late *** to fracture type,closed injuries were 98(83.1%)and open fractures were 20(16.9%).The most common fracture was clavicular fracture(21,22.5%)followed by soft tissue injury in 19(16.1%)*** most common social media application usage during driving was Facebook 43(36.4%),followed by Whatsapp 24(20.3%),Google 19(16.1%),and Instagram 15(12.7%).Conclusion:This study provides evidence that social media usage while driving put the drivers and other road users'lives at high *** most common social media addiction while driving is Facebook and *** there is a need to make strict rules and penalties for using cell phone during driving so as to save the lives of drivers and other people using road.

＜正＞With the increasing interest of organizations to join supply chains,and achieve the competitive advantages of such an act,the notion of strategic management of organization shifts to strategic management of supply chain as a whole and single *** paper studied the most available literature on strategic management of supply chain and identified 27 major factors and found the importance of each one from the viewpoint of *** this,seven factors which are more influential got identified and then the second questionnaire was developed for applying DEMATEL method and it was issued to a group of 18 chosen experts to find the causal relation among these seven factors and to find the key success factors in strategic management of supply *** results showed that participating suppliers in customers’ product development and sharing expertise and technology,as well as creating a greater level of mutual trust among supply chain members are the key success factors in implementing strategic management of supply chain and they are influential and interactive with the remaining 5 factors.

Comparison of Different Extraction Approaches for Heavy Metal Partitioning in Sediment Samples

Three extraction methods, ultrasonic assisted extraction (USE), microwave assisted extraction (MSE), and conventional single extraction (CSE), in conjunction with the modified three-stage BCR sequential extraction procedure (SEP) were applied to examine the contents of Cd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Pb and Zn from lake sediment samples, to know whether these techniques can reduce extraction time and improve reproducibility. The SEP and developed alternative single extrac- tion methods were validated by the analysis of certified reference material BCR 601. By the use of optimized sonication and microwave conditions, steps 1, 2 and 3 of the BCR sequential extraction methods (excluding the hydrogen peroxide digestion in step 3, which was not performed with sonication and microwave) could be completed in 15-30 min and 60- 150 s, respectively. The recoveries of total extractable metal contents in BCR 601, obtained by three single extractions ranged from 93.3%-102%, 88.9%-104% and 81.2%-96.2% for CSE, USE and MSE, respectively. The precision of the single extraction methods was found in the range of 3.7%-9.4% for all metals (n = 6).

Energy Aware Task Assignment with Cost Optimization in Mobile Cloud Computing

In this paper, we are investigating the power consumption of mobile device while performing offloading system. The offloading system is way in which mobile application can be divided into local and remote execution in order to alleviate the CPU energy consumption. However, existing offloading systems do not consider data transfer communication energy while performing mobile offloading system. They have just focused on mobile CPU energy consumption. In this paper, we are investigating the energy consumption mobile CPU and communication energy collaboratively while performing mobile offloading for complex application. To cope up with the above problem, we have proposed Energy Efficient Task Scheduler (EETS) algorithm, whose aim is to determine optimal tasks execution in offloading system in order to minimize mobile CPU and communication energy. Simulation results show that EETS outperforms as compared to baseline approaches.

Latency Aware and Service Delay with Task Scheduling in Mobile Edge Computing

In a traditional Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC), a stream of data produced by mobile users (MUs) is uploaded to the remote cloud for additional processing throughout the Internet. Though, due to long WAN distance it causes high End to End latency. With the intention of minimize the average response time and key constrained Service Delay (network and cloudlet Delay) for mobile users (MUs), offload their workloads to the geographically distributed cloudlets network, we propose the Multi-layer Latency Aware Workload Assignment Strategy (MLAWAS) to allocate MUs workloads into optimal cloudlets, Simulation results demonstrate that MLAWAS earns the minimum average response time as compared with two other existing strategies.

A Parameter Varying PD Control for Fuzzy Servo Mechanism

This paper presents the formulation of novel implementation method based on parameter varying PD controller for fuzzy servo controllers. This formulation uses the approximation of fuzzy nonlinear function including error and error derivation in operation point. Obtained fuzzy control law has been employed to control angular position of servo using digital control technique applied to a typical microcontroller like AVR. The performance and robustness of modified fuzzy controller in comparison with PID controller evaluated in no load, applied external disturbance with different magnitude conditions has been studied. The simulation results showed that the proposed fuzzy controller has a considerable advantage in rise time, settling time and overshoot respect to PID controller when the servo system encounters with nonlinear features like saturation and friction.
