Two-Photon Direct Laser Writing Beyond the Diffraction Limit Using the Nanopositioning and Nanomeasuring Machine

Since the first realization of two-photon direct laser writing(DLW)in Maruo et al.(Opt Lett 22:132-134,1997),the manufacturing using direct laser writing techniques spread out in many laboratories all over the *** materials with different material properties open a new field for micro-and *** achievable structuring resolution using this technique is reported to be sub-100 nm(Paz et *** *** Appl.24:042004,2012),while a smallest linewidth of 25 nm could be shown in Tan et al.(Appl Phys Lett 90:071106,2007).In our approach,the combination of DLW with the nanopositioning and nanomeasuring machine NMM-1 offers an improvement of the technique from the engineering side regarding the ultra-precise positioning(Weidenfeller et *** Adv Fabr Technol Micro/Nano Opt Photon Ⅺ 10544:105440E,2018).One big benefit besides the high positioning resolution of 0.1 nm is offered by the positioning range of 25 mm×25 mm×5 mm(Jager et *** Technisches Messen 67:319-323,2000;Manske et *** Meas Sci Technol 18:520-527,2007).Thus,a trans-scale fabrication without any stitching or combination of different positioning systems is *** immense synergy between the highly precise positioning and the DLW is demonstrated by the realization of resist lines and trenches whose center-to-center distance undergoes the modified diffraction limit for two-photon *** precise positioning accuracy enables a defined distance between illuminated ***,with a comparable huge width of the trenches of 1.655|im due to a low effective numerical aperture of 0.16,a resist line of 30 nm between two written trenches could be *** the interrelationships for achieving such narrow trenches have not yet been clarified,much smaller resist lines and trench widths are possible with this approach in the near future.

Ensemble-based Kalman Filters in Strongly Nonlinear Dynamics

This study examines the effectiveness of ensemble Kalman filters in data assimilation with the strongly nonlinear dynamics of the Lorenz-63 model, and in particular their use in predicting the regime transition that occurs when the model jumps from one basin of attraction to the other. Four configurations of the ensemble-based Kalman filtering data assimilation techniques, including the ensemble Kalman filter, en- semble adjustment Kalman filter, ensemble square root filter and ensemble transform Kalman filter, are evaluated with their ability in predicting the regime transition （also called phase transition） and also are compared in terms of their sensitivity to both observational and sampling errors. The sensitivity of each ensemble-based filter to the size of the ensemble is also examined.

This paper explores the main legal aspects of filial piety in *** on a socio-legal study,it traces a significant gap between the law in the books,which mandates that children support their parents financially if the latter cannot support themselves,and the law in action,which narrows this obligation to cases in which the parents must be cared for in a State nursing *** study also highlights the relevance of religious and cultural norms in shaping filial piety in multicultural countries and thus points to the urgent need to tailor filial piety legal policies according to socially constructed,actual,and diverse filial piety perceptions and practices.

The study focuses on the in flue nee of Ni and Bi on alkali me etha nol oxidati on reacti on (EOR) activities, stabilities and structure characteristics of carb on supported Pd-based nano catalysts (Pd/C, Pd6oNi4o/C, Pd6oBi4o/C, Pd6oNi2oBi2o/C) by cyclic voltammetry/chr ono amperometry using rotating disk electrode and various physico-chemical methods such as X-ray powder diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. Nickel generates more adsorbed OH on the Pd catalyst surface than Bi and promotes the oxidation of adsorbed ethanol species. This results in a low onset potential toward ethanol oxidation with high current density. The presenee of Bi facilitates high toleranee toward various reaction in termediates resulting from the incomplete etha nol oxidation, but might also initiate the agglomerati on of Pd nano particles. The no vel Pd60Ni20Bi20/C nanocatalyst displays exceptional byproduct toleranee, but only satisfying catalytic activity toward ethanol oxidation in an alkaline medium. Therefore, the EOR performanee of the novel carbon supported ternary PdxNiyBiz anode catalyst with various atomic variations (Pd70Ni25Bi5/C, Pd70Ni20Bi10/C, Pd80Ni10Bi10/C and Pd40Ni20Bi40/C) using the common instant reduction synthesis method was further optimized for the alkaline direct ethanol fuel cell. The carbon supported Pd:Ni:Bi nano catalyst with atomic ratio of 70:20:10 displays outsta nding catalytic activity for the alkaline EOR compared to the other PdxNiyBiy/C nanocatalysts as well as to the benchmarks Pd/C, Pd60Ni40/C and Pd60Bi40/C. The synergy and the optimal content in consideration of the oxide species of Pd, Ni and Bi are crucial for the EOR kinetic enhancement in alkaline medium.

THE PHENOTYPE OF MAST CELL IN PRIMARY ADENOID LIVER TUMOR OF RAT AND ITS RELATION TO TUMOR CELL

Data indicating that mast cells which located in tumor tissues presented positive expression of rat mast cell protein (RMCP) Ⅰ Indicating origination from the mucosa mast cells while those in the connective tissues around tumors were largely stained negatively with either RMCP Ⅰor RMCP Ⅰ antisera with the exception of only a few cells showing positive RMCP Ⅰ staining. Ultrastructural observation showed that mast cells in tumon contacted closely with the tumor cells. Membranes of the intracytoplasmic granules in these mast cells were fusing together. The content inside the granules were discharged and spread along the intercellular space between the tumor cells. There was not any lesion observed uitrasructrually in the tumor cells contacting with the mast cells. The significance of mucosa mast cells in adenoid liver tumors is briefly discussed.

Eelgrass and Macroalgae Loss in an Oregon Estuary: Consequences for Ocean Acidification and Hypoxia

Estuarine macrophytes are proposed to influence ocean acidification and hypoxia(OAH)via the uptake(release)of inorganic carbon(oxygen)during *** extent to which macrophytes mitigate OAH in estuaries depends on the interaction between variable environmental conditions and macrophyte production over space and *** explore these complexities in detail,we considered the potential causes and consequences of intertidal eelgrass and macroalgae declines in a *** Northwest *** compiled and analyzed a record of eelgrass(Zostera marina)and ulvoid macroalgae along with a broad suite of environmental conditions over 15 years(2004 to 2019)at 3 sites along an estuarine gradient in South Slough,*** analysis showed that declining macrophyte biomass coincided with increasing temperature(water and air),watershed disturbance,and possibly *** with macrophyte loss,diel dissolved oxygen(DO)and pH variability were reduced,indicating an influence of macrophytes on water quality at an ecosystem *** loss was correlated with declining gross production and respiration,which altered the diel dynamics of pH,DO,and partial pressure of carbon dioxide at some *** certain conditions,there was an association between eelgrass biomass and changes in DO and pH of more than 2 mg/l and 0.3 units,*** found that daytime amelioration of low DO and pH was possible at certain locations when macrophyte biomass(especially eelgrass)was ***,our analyses suggested that the efficacy of macrophyte mitigation of OAH depends on macrophyte abundance and the volume and residence time of overlying water.
