Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have had great success with regard to the object classification problem. For character classification, we found that training and testing using accurately segmented character regions with CNNs resulted in higher accuracy than when roughly segmented regions were used. Therefore, we expect to extract complete character regions from seene images. Text in natural scene images has an obvious contrast with its attachments. Many methods attempt to extract characters through different segmentation techniques. However, for blurred, occluded, and complex background cases, those methods may result in adjoined or over segmented characters. In this paper, we propose a scene word recognition model that integrates words from small pieces to entire after-cluster-based segmentation. The segmented connected components are classified as four types: background, in dividual character proposals, adjoined characters, and stroke proposals. Individual character proposals are directly inputted to a CNN that is trained using accurately segmented character images. The sliding window strategy is applied to adjoined character regions. Stroke proposals are considered as fragments of entire characters whose locations are estimated by a stroke spatial distribution system. Then、the estimated characters from adjoined characters and stroke proposals are classified by a CNN that is trained on roughly segmented character images. Finally, a lexicondriven integration method is performed to obtain the final word recognition results. Compared to other word recognition methods, our method achieves a comparable performance on Street View Text and the ICDAR 2003 and ICDAR 2013 benchmark databases. Moreover, our method can deal with recognizing text images of occlusion and improperly segmented text images.

Environmental pollution, a major problem worldwide, poses considerable threat to human health and ecological environment. Efficient and reliable detection technologies, which focus on the appearance of emerging environmental and trace pollutants, are urgently needed. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) has become an attractive analytical tool for sensing trace targets in environmental field because of its inherent molecular fingerprint specificity and high sensitivity. In this review, we focused on the recent developments in the integration of magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs) with SERS for facilitating sensitive detection of environmental pollutants. An overview and classification of different types of MNPs for SERS detection were initially provided, enabling us to categorize the huge amount of literature that was available in the interdisciplinary research field of MNPs based SERS technology. Then, the basic working principles and applications of MNPs in SERS detection were presented. Subsequently, the detection technologies integrating MNPs with SERS that eventually were used for the detection of various environmental pollutions were reviewed. Finally, the advantages of MNP-basedSERS detection technology for environmental pollutants were concluded, and the current challenges and future outlook of this technology in practical applications were highlighted. The application of the MNPsbasedSERS techniques for environmental analysis will be significantly advanced with the great progresses of the nanotechnologies, optics, and materials.

目的观察整体护理干预在小儿急性支气管炎中的应用效果。方法选择2022年9月至2023年8月滨州医学院附属医院儿童呼吸科收治的80例急性支气管炎患儿,采用摸球法分为两组。对照组(40例)接受常规护理干预,研究组(40例)接受整体护理干预,比较两组护理效果。结果研究组护理总满意率为97.50%,高于对照组的77.50%(P<0.05);研究组各临床症状(喘憋、咳嗽、肺部哮鸣音)消失时间[(3.13±1.02)、(3.42±1.20)、(4.55±1.24)d]及体温恢复时间[(2.08±0.51)d]短于对照组[(5.59±1.42)、(5.88±1.62)、(7.64±1.56)、(3.98±0.76)d](P<0.05);研究组治疗总依从率(95.00%)高于对照组(75.00%)(P<0.05)。结论整体护理在急性支气管炎患儿中应用效果良好,可提高护理满意度,缩短临床症状消失时间及体温恢复时间,提升治疗依从性,值得推广。

目的以大麻素2型受体(cannabinoid receptor type 2,CB2R)为靶点,从补肾中药覆盆子中分离、鉴定、筛选得到具有激动CB2R的激动剂,并探讨其抗骨质疏松作用的机制。方法以激动CB2R活性为导向进行分离并筛选,采用正相硅胶柱色谱、凝胶柱色谱、大孔树脂、重结晶和半制备型高效液相色谱对二氯甲烷层和醋酸乙酯层浸膏进行分离,结合化合物理化性质和核磁共振波谱对分离得到的化合物进行结构鉴定。通过双荧光素酶方法筛选出具有可特异性激动CB2R的化合物,并通过测定转染CB2R的人胚胎肾细胞HEK293-CB2内环磷酸腺苷(cyclic adenosine monophosphate,c AMP)积聚水平和CB2R蛋白表达情况来验证筛选的化合物对CB2R的特异性激动活性,最后评价筛选得到的化合物对破骨细胞骨代谢方面的调节作用。结果以激动CB2R为活性导向进行分离和筛选,共得到24个化合物,分别鉴定为山柰酚(1)、木犀草苷(2)、银椴苷(3)、金丝桃苷(4)、橙皮素(5)、刺芒柄花素(6)、槲皮素(7)、对羟基苯甲酸(8)、迷迭香酸(9)、对羟基苯甲酸乙酯(10)、水杨酸(11)、没食子酸(12)、咖啡酸(13)、原儿茶酸(14)、鞣花酸(15)、香草酸(16)、loliolide(17)、对羟基苯甲酸甲酯(18)、ethyl dioxindole-3-acetate(19)、苦莓苷F1(20)、科罗索酸(21)、委陵菜酸(22)、山楂酸(23)、野鸦椿酸(24)。双荧光素酶筛选体系从24个化合物中筛选得到2个新的CB2R激动剂(化合物5和8)。c AMP和蛋白免疫印迹表明筛选得到化合物5和8对CB2R具有特异性激动活性和较好的亲和力,可显著抑制破骨细胞的活性并影响其骨吸收功能。结论化合物2、5、6、9、13、14、17、19为首次从中药覆盆子中分离得到。2个新的CB2R激动剂(化合物5和8)能特异性地激动CB2R并增加CB2R蛋白的表达,抑制给药刺激后HEK293-CB2细胞内c AMP的积累;以CB2R依赖性对破骨细胞功能的正常发挥产生影响。

Human speech and animal vocalizations are important for social communication and animal survival.Neurons in the auditory pathway are responsive to a range of sounds, from elementary sound features to complex acoustic sounds. For social communication, responses to distinct patterns of vocalization are usually highly specific to an individual conspecific call, in some species. This includes the specificity of sound patterns and embedded biological information. We conducted single-unit recordings in the amygdala of awake marmosets and presented calls used in marmoset communication, calls of other species and calls from specific marmoset individuals. We found that some neurons(47/262) in the amygdala distinguished ’Phee’ calls from vocalizations of other animals and other types of marmoset vocalizations. Interestingly, a subset of Phee-responsive neurons(22/47) also exhibited selectivity to one out of the three Phees from two different ’caller’ marmosets. Our findings suggest that, while it has traditionally been considered the key structure in the limbic system, the amygdala also represents a critical stage of socially relevant auditory perceptual processing.

Spinel lithium manganese oxide cathode materials were synthesized using the ultrasonic-assisted sol-gel method. The synthesized samples were investigated by differential thermal analysis （DTA） and thermogravimetry （TG）, powder X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, cyclic voltammetry （CV）, and the charge-discharge test. TG-DTA shows that significant mass loss occurs in two temperature regions during the synthesis of LiLa0.01Mn1.9903.99F0.01. XRD data indicate that all samples exhibit the same pure spinel phase, and LiLa0.01Mn1.9903.99F0.01 and LiLa0.01Mn1.9904 samples have a better crystallinity than LiMn2O4. SEM images indicate that LiLa0.01Mn1.9903.99F0.01 has a slightly smaller particle size and a more regular morphology structure with narrow size distribution. The charge-discharge test reveals that the initial capacities of LiMn2O4, LiLa0.01Mn1.99O4, and LiLa0.01Mn1.99O3.99F0.01 are 130, 123, and 126 mAh·g^-1, respectively, and the capacity retention rates of the initial value, after 50 cycles, are 84.8%, 92.3%, and 92.1%, respectively. The electrode coulomb efficiency and CV reveal that the electrode synthesized by the ultrasonic-assisted sol-gel （UASG） method has a better re- versibility than the electrode synthesized by the sol-gel method.

Apomixis,or asexual seed formation,is prevalent in Citrinae via a mechanism termed nucellar or adventitious embryony.Here,multiple embryos of a maternal genotype form directly from nucellar cells in the ovule and can outcompete the developing zygotic embryo as they utilize the sexually derived endosperm for growth.Whilst nucellar embryony enables the propagation of clonal plants of maternal genetic constitution,it is also a barrier to effective breeding through hybridization.To address the genetics and evolution of apomixis in Citrinae,a chromosome-level genome of the Hongkong kumquat(Fortunella hindsii) was assembled following a genome-wide variation map including structural variants(SVs) based on234 Citrinae accessions.This map revealed that hybrid citrus cultivars shelter genome-wide deleterious mutations and SVs into heterozygous states free from recessive selection,which may explain the capability of nucellar embryony in most cultivars during Citrinae diversification.Analyses reve aled that parallel evolution may explain the repeated origin of apomixis in different genera of Citrinae.Within Fortu nella,we found that apomixis of some varieties originated via introgression.In apomictic Fortunella,the locus associated with apomixis contains the FhRWP gene,encoding an RWP-RK domain-containing protein previously shown to be required for nucellar embryogenesis in Citrus.We found the heterozygous SV in the FhRWP and CitRWP promoters from apomictic Citrus and Fortunella,due to either two or three miniature inverted transposon element(MITE) insertions.A transcription factor,FhARID,encoding an AT-rich interaction domain-containing protein binds to the MITEs in the promoter of apomictic varieties,which facilitates induction of nucellar embryogenesis.This study provides evolutionary genomic and molecular insights into apomixis in Citrinae and has potential ramifications for citrus breeding.

目的介绍人用药品技术要求国际协调理事会(Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use,ICH)主办下编制的国际医学术语集—监管活动医学词典(Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities,MedDRA)及其在监管领域的应用。方法描述20世纪90年代全球药品监管领域对国际标准术语集的需求,阐释MedDRA的结构特征和维护模式,历数MedDRA成长和发展的里程碑,包括近期面对COVID-19疫情挑战所采取的行动,并展望MedDRA未来的发展。结果和结论由于药品研发领域的监管活动亟需一个国际标准术语集,ICH发起创办了MedDRA。MedDRA用于医学产品的注册、文件记录、安全监测与监督,从临床试验到上市后监测,贯穿于产品开发周期中的各个阶段。MedDRA的结构特征和维护模式是按照其使用目的设计开发的。自启动以来,MedDRA作为一个用户驱动的术语集,在维护和支持服务组织(Maintenance and Support Services Organization,MSSO)的精心管理下扩充了术语体量和范围,以满足用户的需求以及不断发展的监管报告要求,并跟上医学进展的步伐。
