Inﬂammatory myoﬁbroblastic tumor(ImT)is a rare neoplasm with intermediate malignancy characterized by a propensity for recurrence but a low metastatic *** challenges arise from the diverse pathological presentation,variable symptomatology,and lack of different imaging ***,ImT is identiﬁed by the fusion of the anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)gene,which is present in approximately 70%of cases,with various fusion partners,including ran-binding protein 2(RANBP2),which allows conﬁrmation of the *** surgery is the preferred approach for localized tumors,the optimal long-term treatment for advanced or metastatic disease is difﬁcult to deﬁ*** therapies are crucial for achieving sustained response to treatment within the context of genetic alteration in ***,an ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI),was ofﬁcially approved by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)in 2020 to treat ImT with ALK ***,most patients face resistance and disease progression,requiring consideration of sequential *** radiotherapy with targeted therapy appears to be beneﬁcial in this *** promising results have also been achieved with immunotherapy,indicating potential for combined therapy ***,deﬁned recommendations are still *** review analyzes the available research on ImT,including genetic disorders and their impact on the course of the disease,data on the latest targeted therapy regimens and the possibility of developing immunotherapy in this indication,as well as summarizing general knowledge about prognostic and predictive factors,also in terms of resistance to systemic therapy.

Piráis a reading comprehension dataset focused on the ocean,the Brazilian coast,and climate change,built from a collection of scientific abstracts and reports on these *** dataset represents a versatile language resource,particularly useful for testing the ability of current machine learning models to acquire expert scientific *** its potential,a detailed set of baselines has not yet been developed for Pirá.By creating these baselines,researchers can more easily utilize Piráas a resource for testing machine learning models across a wide range of question answering *** this paper,we define six benchmarks over the Pirádataset,covering closed generative question answering,machine reading comprehension,information retrieval,open question answering,answer triggering,and multiple choice question *** part of this effort,we have also produced a curated version of the original dataset,where we fixed a number of grammar issues,repetitions,and other ***,the dataset has been extended in several new directions,so as to face the aforementioned benchmarks:translation of supporting texts from English into Portuguese,classification labels for answerability,automatic paraphrases of questions and answers,and multiple choice *** results described in this paper provide several points of reference for researchers interested in exploring the challenges provided by the Pirádataset.

Youth-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2Dm),influenced by an increase in obesity,is a rising problem *** mechanisms of this early-onset T2Dm include both peripheral and hepatic insulin resistance,along with increa-sed hepatic fasting glucose production accompanied by inadequate first and second-phase insulin ***,the incretin effect is *** initial presentation of type 2 diabetes can be dramatic and symptoms may overlap with those of type 1 diabetes ***,immediate therapy should address hyperglycemia and associated metabolic derangements irrespective of ultimate diabetes type,while further therapy adjustments are prone to patients’*** agents with proven glycemic and beyond glycemia benefits,such as Glucagon-like polypeptide 1 receptor agonists and Sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors,used in the adult population of T2Dm patients,might become increasingly important in the treatment ***,metabolic surgery is an option for markedly obese(body mass index>35 kg/m^(2))children and adolescents suffering from T2Dm who have uncontrolled glycemia and/or serious comorbidities when lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions *** this mini-review,we will discuss the potential of treatment options considering new data available from randomized control trials,including individuals with adult-onset type diabetes mellitus.

An a-C/a-C:N junction,which used palmyra sugar as the carbon source and ammonium hydroxide(NH4OH)as the dopant source,was successfully deposited on the ITO glass substrate using the nano-spraying *** current-voltage relationship of the junction was found to be a Schottky-like contact,and therefore the junction shows the characteristic *** means the a-C and a-C:N are semiconductors with different types of ***,the samples showed an increase in current and voltage value when exposed to visible light(bright state)compared to the dark condition,thereby,indicating the creation of electron-hole pairs during the *** was also discovered that the relationship between current and voltage for the a-C/a-C:N junction sample formed a curve that satisfies the rule of the photovoltaic effect when exposed to visible light from a light *** exposure of this sample to direct sunlight at Am 1.5 conditions produced a curve that meets the rules for the emergence of the photovoltaic effect with higher characteristics for the current-voltage ***,the a-C/a-C:N junction sample is a solar cell successfully fabricated using a sample method and has a maximum efficiency of 0.0013%.

Planetary health risks in urban agriculture

Urban agriculture is gaining recognition for its potential contributions to environmental resilience and climate change adaptation,providing advantages such as urban greening,reduced heat island effects,and decreased air ***,it indirectly supports communities during weather events and natural disasters,ensuring food security and fostering community ***,concerns about planetary health risks persist in highly urbanized and climate-affected *** electronic databases such as Web of Science and Pubmed and adhering to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and meta-Analyses guidelines,we identified 55 relevant papers to comprehend the planetary health risks associated with urban agriculture,The literature review identified five distinct health risks related to urban agriculture:(1)trace metal risks in urban farms;(2)health risks associated with wastewater irrigation;(3)zoonotic risks;(4)other health risks;and(5)social and economic *** study highlights that urban agriculture,while emphasizing environmental benefits,particularly raises concerns about trace metal bioaccumulation in soil and vegetables,posing health risks for *** well studied risks included wastewater irrigation and backyard livestock *** main limitations in the available literature were in studying infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance associated with urban agriculture.

many species exhibit color polymorphisms which have distinct physiological and behavioral ***,the consistency of morph trait covariation patterns across species,time,and ecological contexts remains *** trait covariation is especially relevant in the context of invasion biology and urban ***,physiological traits pertaining to energy maintenance are crucial to fitness,given their immediate ties to individual reproduction,growth,and population *** investigated the physiological traits of Podarcis muralis,a versatile color polymorphic species that thrives in urban environments(including invasive populations in Ohio,USA).We measured five physiological traits(plasma corticosterone and triglycerides,hematocrit,body condition,and field body temperature),which compose an integrated multivariate *** then tested variation among co-occurring color morphs in the context of establishment in an urban *** found that the traits describing physiological status and strategy shifted across the active season in a morph-dependent manner—the white and yellow morphs exhibited clearly different multivariate physiological phenotypes,characterized primarily by differences in plasma *** suggests that morphs have different strategies in physiological regulation,the flexibility of which is crucial to urban *** white-yellow morph exhibited an intermediate phenotype,suggesting an intermediary energy maintenance *** morphs also exhibited distinct phenotypes,but the low prevalence of this morph in our study populations precludes clear *** work provides insight into how differences among stable polymorphisms exist across axes of the phenotype and how this variation may aid in establishment within novel environments.

With increasing life expectancy， neurodegenerative diseases have become one of the leading causes of ill-health in the elderly. Preventive strategies include following healthy diets， such as the mediterranean diet， which is particularly rich in polyphenols， bioactive compounds with neuroprotective properties. The aim of this study was to assess the association of microbial phenolic metabolites (mPm) with cognition. This cross-sectional analysis was performed with 200 participants of the PREDImED trial (Barcelona-Clinic recruitment center). A novel method based on liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry was used to identify urinary mPm (protocatechuic acid， enterodiol glucuronide， enterolactone glucuronide， urolithin B glucuronide， and vanillic acid glucuronide)， and cognitive function was evaluated with neuropsychological tests. multivariable-adjusted ordinary least squares regression was used to assess the associations between cognitive function and mPm， and a score was calculated as the weighted sum of mPm. A higher mPm score was associated with better frontal lobe function. Among individual metabolites， vanillic acid glucuronide was correlated with frontal cognitive performance. Participants with higher concentrations of vanillic acid glucuronide and urolithin B glucuronide obtained better scores in the Color Trail Test part 2. A higher score for urinary multi-mPm was associated with better frontal cognitive performance in an older mediterranean population.
