Increasing the utilization efficiency of platinum.is critical for advancing proton exchange-m.m.rane fuel cells(PEm.cs).Despite extensive research on catalysts for the cathodic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),developing highly active and durable Pt-based catalysts that can suppress surface dealloying in corrosive acid conditions rem.ins ***,we report a facile synthesis of bim.tallic ultrathin Ptm.m.m.,W,and cr)nanowires(NWs)com.osed of group VI B transition m.tal atom.c sites anchored on the *** NWs possess uniform.sizes and well-controlled atom.c *** to PtW and Ptcr catalysts,the Ptm.0.05 NWs exhibit the highest half-wave potential of 0.935 V and a m.ss activity of 1.43 A·m.Pt^(−1).Rem.rkably,they dem.nstrate a rem.rkable 23.8-fold enhancem.nt in m.ss activity com.ared to com.ercial Pt/c for ORR,surpassing previously reported Pt-based ***,the Ptm. NWs cathode in m.m.rane electrode assem.ly tests achieves a rem.rkable peak power density of 1.443 W·cm.(−2)(H_(2)-O_(2)conditions at 80℃),which is 1.09 tim.s that of com.ercial Pt/*** ligand effect in the bim.tallic surface not only facilitates strong coupling between m.(4d)and Pt(5d)atom.c orbitals to hinder atom.leaching but also m.dulates the d-states of active site,significantly optim.zing the adsorption of key oxygen(*O and*OH)species and accelerating the rate-determ.ning step in ORR pathways.

Understanding the response of the Earth system.to varying concentrations of carbon dioxide(cO_(2))is critical for projecting possible future clim.te change and for providing insight into m.tigation and adaptation strategies in the near *** this study,we generate a dataset by conducting an experim.nt involving carbon dioxide rem.val(cDR)—a potential way to suppress global warm.ng—using the chinese Academ. of Sciences Earth System.m.del version 2.0(cASESm..0).A prelim.nary evaluation is *** m.del is integrated from.200–340 years as a 1%yr^(−1) cO_(2) concentration increase experim.nt,and then to~478 years as a carbon dioxide rem.val experim.nt until cO_(2) returns to its original ***,another 80 years is integrated in which cO_(2) is kept *** in the 2-m.tem.erature,precipitation,sea surface tem.erature,ocean tem.erature,Atlantic m.ridional overturning circulation(Am.c),and sea surface height are all *** the ram.-up period,the global m.an 2-m.tem.erature and precipitation both increase while the Am.c *** of all the above variables change in the opposite direction in the ram.-down period,with a delayed peak relative to the cO_(2) *** cO_(2) returns to its original value,the global m.an 2-m.tem.erature is still~1 K higher than in the original state,and precipitation is~0.07 m. d^(–1) *** the end of the sim.lation,there is a~0.5°c increase in ocean tem.erature and a 1 Sv weakening of the *** m.del sim.lation produces sim.lar results to those of com.arable experim.nts previously reported in the literature.

As a vital type of light-absorbing aerosol,brown carbon(Brc)presents inherent associations with atm.spheric photochem.stry and clim.te ***,the understanding of the chem.cal and optical properties of Brc is lim.ted,especially in som. resource-dependent cities with long heating periods in northwest *** study showed that the annual average abundances of Water-soluble Brc(WS-Brc)were 9.33±7.42 and 8.69±6.29μg/m.(3)in Baotou and Wuhai and the concentrations,absorption coefficient(Abs_(365)),and m.ss absorption efficiency(m.E365)of WS-Brc presented significant seasonal patterns,with high values in the heating season and low values in the non-heating season;while showing opposite seasonal trends for the Absorption Angstr?m.exponent(AAE_(300-400)).com.aratively,the levels of WS-Brc in developing regions(such as cities in Asia)were higher than those in developed regions(such as cities in Europe and Australia),indicating the significant differences in energy consum.tion in these *** com.ining fluorescence excitation-em.ssion m.trix(EEm.spectra with the parallel factor(PARAFAc)m.del,hum.c-like(c1 and c2)and proteinlike(c3)substances were identified,and accounted for 61.40%±4.66%and 38.6%±3.78%at Baotou,and 60.33%±6.29%and 39.67%±4.17%at Wuhai,*** results of source apportionm.nt suggested that the potential source regions of WS-Brc varied in heating ***-heating seasons and that the properties of WS-Brc significantly depended on prim.ry em.ssions(e.g.,com.ustion em.ssions)and secondary form.tion.

The pore structure of spherical alum.na supports is closely related to the dispersion of catalytically active com.onents and the diffusion of *** excellent pore structure under strict reaction conditions is of utm.st *** this work,sphericalγ-Al_(2)O_(3)support with a bim.dal pore structure,com.osed of m.cropores and m.sopores,was successfully synthesized using dodecane as the pore-form.ng agent through the oil–am.onia colum.-shaping *** m.rphology and internal pore structure of the alum.na were found to be influenced by the am.unt of surfactant added and ultrasound treatm.nt ***,when concentration of surfactant was 4‰and ultrasound voltage of 20 V was applied,the resultingγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-4‰-20 displayed a highly concentrated distribution of m.cropores with an average pore size of 100 nm.resulting in an im.ressive porosity of 69.21%.In contrast,the untreated sam.le ofγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-0-0 only exhibited a m.soporous distribution with a porosity of 54.03%.m.reover,after being subjected to a hydrotherm.l treatm.nt in a high tem.erature(600°c)and high hum.dity(water vapor)environm.nt for 120 h,theγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-4‰-20 sam.le m.intained a high BET specific surface area of 170.9 m.(2)g^(−1)and m.rcury intrusion porosim.try specific surface area of 263.3 m.(2)g^(−1).

Good crystallinity can reduce the charge recom.ination centers caused by defects,whilst structures with strong polycondensation have high charge m.bility,leading to m.re charge transfer to the m.terial surface for *** effort has been put into the preparation of a highly efficient g-c_(3)N_(4) with defects to im.rove its application potential under the prem.se in high ***,this review paper em.hasizes the im.ortance to balance the defect and crystallinity of g-c_(3)N_(4).In addition,detailed discussion on the relationship between defects and activity of g-c_(3)N_(4) was carried out based on its applications in environm.ntal purification(e.g.,VOcs oxidation,NO_(x) oxidation,H_(2)O_(2) evolution,sterilization,pesticide oxidation)and energy conversion(H_(2) evolution,N_(2) fixation and cO_(2) reduction).Lastly,the challenge in developing m.re efficient defective g-c_(3)N_(4) photocatalytic m.terials is sum.arized.
