Large scale dense Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been progressively employed for different classes of applications for the resolve of precise monitoring. As a result of high density of nodes, both spatially and temporally correlated information can be detected by several nodes. Hence, energy can be saved which is a major aspect of these networks. Moreover, by using these advantages of correlations, communication and data exchange can be reduced. In this paper, a novel algorithm that selects the data based on their contextual importance is proposed. The data, which are contextually important, are only transmitted to the upper layer and the remains are ignored. In this way, the proposed method achieves significant data reduction and in turn improves the energy conservation of data gathering.

Security systems are a necessity for the deployment of smart vehicles in our society. Security in vehicular ad hoe networks is crucial to the reliable exchange of information and control data. In this paper, we propose an intelligent Intrusion Detection System （IDS） to protect the external communication of self-driving and semi self-driving vehicles. This technology has the ability to detect Denial of Service （DOS） and black hole attacks on vehicular ad hoe networks （VANETs）. The advantage of the proposed IDS over existing security systems is that it detects attacks before they causes significant damage. The intrusion prediction technique is based on Linear Discriminant Analysis （LDA） and Quadratic Diseriminant Analysis （QDA） which are used to predict attacks based on observed vehicle behavior. We perform simulations using Network Simulator 2 to demonstrate that the IDS achieves a low rate of false alarms and high accuracy in detection.

Nasal irrigation is often recommended as an adjuctive therapy for treating many sinonasal *** provides mechanical cleansing of mucus,crust,cell debris and various air *** study was done to analyze the effect of nasal irrigation on change of nasal mucociliary transport time,in active *** study was experimental using pre and post test controlled group *** were divided into two groups;treatment and control *** mucociliary transport time were tested with saccharin method for two times;before and fourteen days after *** the day fourteen after nasal irrigation there was a significant decreased of the mucociliary transport time than before(p=0,000).In the control group on second measurement was significantly longer compared to the first measurement(p=0,003).In the comparison of mucociliary transport time change between treatment group and control group was found significant differences(p=0,000).

An extensive analysis of iron-nitrogen-carbon(Fe-N-C)electrocatalysts synthesis and activity is presented concerning synthesis conditions such as initial Fe content,pyrolysis temperature and atmosphere(inert N_(2),reducing NH_(3),oxidizing Cl_(2) and their sequential combinations)and the influence of an external magnetic field on their performance in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Thermosetting porous polymers doped with FeCl_(3) were utilized as the Fe-N-C catalysts *** pyrolysis temperature was varied within a 700-900℃*** temperature and atmosphere of pyrolysis strongly affect the porosity and compositi on of the resultant Fe-N-C catalysts,while the in itial amount of Fe precursor shows much weaker *** under NH_(3) yields materials similar to those pyrolyzed under an inert atmosphere(N_(2)).In contrast,pyrolysis under Cl_(2) yields carbon of peculiar character with highly disordered structure and extensive *** application of a static external magnetic field strongly enhances the ORR process(herein studied in an alkaline environment)and the enhancement correlates with the Fe content in the Fe-N-C *** Fe-N-C materials containing ferromagnetic iron phase embedded in N-doped microporous carbon constitute attractive catalysts for magnetic field-aided anion exchange membrane fuel cell technology.

Economical Potential of An Ultramafic Rock at The kval ya Island, North Norway

A low-grade metamorphic ultramafic rock at the kval ya Island, North Norway, shows Ni content up to 5 600 ppm, and an average content of 2 500 ppm Ni. Olivine is absent from the rock, and Ni is principally bonded in pentlandite, violarite and millerite. The rock might be considered as a low-grade ore, with 0.2wt%– 0.56wt% Ni. Other metals that might be of economic interest to extract from the rock include Co (from pentlandite and violarite), and Cr and Fe (from magnetite).
