Objective:To eval.ate the effect of ureteral.access sheath(UAS)use and cal.bration change on stone-free rate and compl.cations of retrograde intrarenal.surgery(RIRS).Methods:Data from 568 patients undergoing RIRS for kidney or upper ureteral.stones were retrospectivel. ***,patients were compared after 1:1 propensity score matching,according to UAS usage during RIRS(UAS used[+]87 and UAS non-used[−]87 patients).Then al. UAS+patients(n=481)were subdivided according to UAS cal.bration:9.5-11.5 Fr,10-12 Fr,11-13 Fr,and 13-15 *** outcomes of the study were the success and compl.cations of ***:Stone-free rate of UAS+patients(86.2%)was significantl. higher than UAS−patients(70.1%)after propensity score matching(p=0.01).Stone-free rate increased with higher cal.ber UAS(9.5-11.5 Fr:66.7%;10-12 Fr:87.0%;11-13 Fr:90.6%;13-15 Fr:100%;pl.cations of UAS+patients(11.5%)were significantl. l.wer than UAS−patients(27.6%)(p=0.01).Compl.cations(8.7%)with 9.5-11.5 Fr UAS was l.wer than thicker UAS(17.2%)but was not statistical.y significant(p=0.09).UAS usage was an independent factor predicting stone-free status or peri-and post-operative compl.cations(odds ratio[OR]3.654,95%confidence interval.CI]1.314-10.162;OR 4.443,95%CI 1.350-14.552;OR 4.107,95%CI 1.366-12.344,respectivel.).Concl.sion:Use of UAS in RIRS may increase stone-free rates,which al.o increase with higher cal.ber *** usage may reduce compl.cations;however,compl.cations seemingl. increase with higher UAS cal.bration.

We present radial.vel.city（RV） curve templ.tes of RR l.rae first-overtone（RRc） stars constructed with the Mg I b tripl.t and Hα l.nes using time-domain Medium-Resol.tion Survey spectra of seven RRc stars from l.rge Sky Area Mul.i-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Tel.scope（l.MOST） Data Rel.ase 9. Additional.y, we derive the rel.tion between the stel.ar RV curve ampl.tudes and g-band l.ght curve ampl.tudes from Zwicky Transient Facil.ty（ZTF）publ.c survey. For those RRc stars without ZTF g-band l.ght curves, we provide the conversions from the l.ght curve ampl.tudes in ZTF r-and i-bands, Gaia G-band, and V-band from the Al.-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae to those in ZTF g-band. We val.date our RV curve templ.tes using the RRc star SV Scl.and find the uncertainties of systemic RV are l.ss than 2.11 km s-1and 6.08 km s-1based on the Mg I b tripl.t and Hα l.nes,respectivel.. We cal.ul.te the systemic RVs of 30 RRc stars using the RV curve templ.tes constructed with the Mg I b tripl.t and Hα l.nes and find the systemic RVs are comparabl. with each other. This RV curve templ.te wil. be particul.rl. useful.for obtaining the systemic RV of RRc using the l.MOST spectroscopy.

For decades,researchers have known that when neurons l.se their activating inputs,they can atrophy and even *** exampl.,removing sensory nerve inputs from the arm to the spinal.cord after amputation or cutting the spinal.nerves can shrink the post-synaptic target zones(e.g.,Woods et al.,2000).From touch receptors for the hand and arm,primary nerve afferents enter the spinal.cord,and axons travel.in the dorsal.col.mns to target the cuneate nucl.us(Cu)of the brainstem on the same side of the body(Figure 1).When sensory l.ss is unil.teral.the overwhel.ing resul. is for the associated primary target zone to shrink in total.size(cross-sectional.area),as compared to the size of the opposite side.
