Plastic waste management for sustainable environment:techniques and approaches

Excessive exploitation,negligence,non-degradable nature,and physical and chemical properties of plastic waste have resulted in a massive pollution load into the ***,plastic entres the food chain and can cause serious health issues in aquatic animals and *** present review summarizes currently reported techniques and approaches for the removal of plastic *** techniques,such as adsorption,coagulation,photocatalysis,and microbial degradation,and approaches like reduction,reuse and recycling are potentially in trend and differ from each other in their efficiency and interaction ***,substantial advantages and challenges associated with these techniques and approaches are highlighted to develop an understanding of the selection of possible ways for a sustainable ***,in addition to the reduction of plastic waste from the ecosystem,many alternative opportunities have also been explored to cash plastic *** fields include the synthesis of adsorbents for the removal of pollutants from aqueous and gaseous stream,their utility in clothing,waste to energy and fuel and in construction(road making).Substantial evidence can be observed in the reduction of plastic pollution from various *** addition,it is important to develop an understanding of factors that need to be emphasized while considering alternative approaches and opportunities to cash plastic waste(like adsorbent,clothing,waste to energy and fuel).The thrust of this review is to provide readers with a comprehensive overview of the development status of techniques and approaches to overcome the global issue of plastic pollution and the outlook on the exploitation of this waste as resources.

Acute myeloid leukemia in the era of precision medicine:recent advances in diagnostic classification and risk stratification

Acute myeloid leukemia(AML) is a genetically heterogeneous myeloid malignancy that occurs more commonly in adults, and has an increasing incidence, most likely due to increasing age. Precise diagnostic classification of AML requires clinical and pathologic information, the latter including morphologic, immunophenotypic, cytogenetic and molecular genetic analysis. Risk stratification in AML requires cytogenetics evaluation as the most important predictor, with genetic mutations providing additional necessary information. AML with normal cytogenetics comprises about 40%-50% of all AML, and has been intensively investigated. The currently used 2008 World Health Organization classification of hematopoietic neoplasms has been proposed to be updated in2016, also to include an update on the classification of AML, due to the continuously increasing application of genomic techniques that have led to major advances in our knowledge of the pathogenesis of AML. The purpose of this review is to describe some of these recent major advances in the diagnostic classification and risk stratification of AML.

Propagation of Rayleigh waves on free surface of transversely isotropic generalized thermoelastic diffusion

The present paper is devoted to the study of Rayleigh wave propagation in a homogeneous, transversely isotropic, thermoelastic diffusive half-space, subject to stress free, thermally insulated/isothermal, and chemical potential boundary conditions in the context of the generalized thermoelastic diffusion theory. The Green-Lindsay（GL） theory is used in the study. In this theory, thermodiffusion and thermodiffusion mechanical relaxations are governed by four different time constants. Secular equations for surface wave propagation in the considered media are derived. Anisotropy and diffusion effects on the phase velocity, attenuation coefficient are graphically presented in order to present the analytical results and make comparison. Some special cases of frequency equations are derived from the present investigation.

The propagation of circularly crested thermoelastic diffusive waves in an infinite homogeneous transversely isotropic plate subjected to stress free, isothermal/insulated and chemical potential conditions is investigated in the framework of different thermo- elastic diffusion theories. The dispersion equations of thermoelastic diffusive Lamb type waves are derived. Some special cases of the dispersion equations are also deduced.

Integrating value-chain approach with participatory multicriteria analysis for sustainable planning of a niche crop in Indian Himalayas

The value-chain approach(VCA)was used for exploring how a niche crop,namely large cardamom(Amomum subulatum Roxb.),can be developed sustainably to increase incomes and enhance rural livelihoods in the *** cardamom is a high-value,agro-climatically suitable,and non-perishable spice crop grown in the Himalayan *** in Sikkim,the crop is important to the local economy and is sold in both domestic and international markets;however,its production in India has been declining significantly in recent *** VCA and participatory methods of data collection the study helped elicit value chain actors’perspectives on various reasons for the decline as well as potential strategies to improve the cardamom value *** results present the multiple environmental and climatic(*** stress),social(*** participation)and institutional(*** of trust between actors)challenges and corresponding upgrading *** participatory multi-criteria analysis(MCA),the strategies were prioritized based on the overall preferences of multiple *** analysis considered eight criteria and 25 options,or strategies,and found that that marketability and profitability were the most important criteria,and increasing cardamom production,the most important *** discussions along with sensitivity analysis also showed how these options could be implemented and revealed how criteria preferences can change with expert *** combination of VCA and MCA,because it supports participatory decision-making and balances multiple dimensions of sustainable development,can be effectively deployed in planning for agricultural development in the mountains.

Multiple Forgery Detection in Video Using Convolution Neural Network

With the growth of digital media data manipulation in today’s era due to the availability of readily handy tampering software,the authenticity of records is at high risk,especially in *** is a dire need to detect such problem and do the necessary *** this work,we propose an approach to detect the interframe video forgery utilizing the deep features obtained from the parallel deep neural network model and thorough analytical *** proposed approach only uses the deep features extracted from the CNN model and then applies the conventional mathematical approach to these features to find the forgery in the *** work calculates the correlation coefficient from the deep features of the adjacent frames rather than calculating directly from the *** divide the procedure of forgery detection into two phases–video forgery detection and video forgery *** video forgery detection,this approach detect input video is original or *** the video is not original,then the video is checked in the next phase,which is video forgery *** the video forgery classification,method review the forged video for insertion forgery,deletion forgery,and also again check for *** proposed work is generalized and it is tested on two different *** experimental results of our proposed model show that our approach can detect the forgery with the accuracy of 91%on VIFFD dataset,90%in TDTV dataset and classify the type of forgery–insertion and deletion with the accuracy of 82%on VIFFD dataset,86%on TDTV *** work can helps in the analysis of original and tempered video in various domain.

MIMO-WiMAX system incorporated with diverse transformation for 5G applications

Wireless systems and standards are now progressing toward the implementation of fifth generation (5G) to combat with an expected and explosive growth of demands of wireless services in future. Consequently, wireless interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology at its physical layer is being utilized for the uplink and downlink transmission to afford the high spectral efficiency in fading environments. However, the 5G implementation requires additional improvements to meet the futuristic stress. This work proposes an innovative solution that combines WiMAX system with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technology to meet the required elevated data rates as desired by the growing application needs of 5G. MIMO is capable to fulfil the vision of 5G to realize a huge number of base stations equipped with a large number of terminals to be served in the same time-frequency resource without severe inter-user interference. Furthermore, the proposed system is demon- strated incorporation with discrete wavelet transform (DWT), and fractional Fourier transforms (FrFTs) in the physical layer of the WiMAX system. The evaluated outcomes exemplify a considerable improvement in bit error rate (BER) performance in contrast with the earlier reported work.
