p.ediction of silicon content in hot metal is an imp.r.ant task in the control of blast fur.ace ir.nmaking *** to the comp.exity of blast fur.ace ir.nmaking process,most p.edictive models may wor. well under.stable conditions,however.when the p.oduction is instable,the p.r.or.ance may deter.or.te,which means loss of much valuable infor.ation contained in the ***,the r.siduals of the p.edictive model consist of two p.r.s,i.e.,unmodelled infor.ation and *** this p.p.r.a TGAr.H model（Thr.shold autor.gr.ssive conditional heter.skedasticity model）is used to p.edict silicon content in hot metal and the r.siduals ar. modeled by a Kalman *** Kalman filter.is used to sep.r.te the unmodeled infor.ation fr.m noise and the cap.ur.d infor.ation is then incor.0}r.ted into the or.ginal *** p.op.sed method was tested on data collected fr.m a medium-sized blast *** r.sults shows that Kalman filter.well imp.ove the accur.cy of TGAr.H model.
